I'm convinced this game isn't part of the Arkhamverse. It's just the bad ending of Injustice 2.
Wasn't it clear from Brainiac himself that this is basically an alternate Universe? He was even telling the 4 that he would unleash them into the Multiverse. And one thing, in the Injustice Animated movie, it seems that every alternate universe thinks that their universe is Earth 1, meaning that even if these guys are referring to their Universe as Earth 1, most likely it ain't. DC is flooded with the whole Multiverse, Death and events have gotten to the point of being as inconsequential as events and death in freaking Rick and Morty. I mean, even look at the Harley Quinn series, Batman and Co are always disrespected, why would this story be anything serious when even many comics aren't?

@@littlehamilton117 First of all, you're wrong on many levels. If the ring bearer dies, the ring will choose a new person. The only times it doesn't immediately do that is when A) the person who is next in line is right next to the ring when the original owner dies & B) you're another lantern who can force it to choose you as ring powers are relatively the same across the spectrum with a few exceptions here and there under certain conditions. King shark would not have been able to get ahold of the ring in the manner in which he did. Also, its Oa not Asgard.

You’re telling me that a guy who was on the brink of death and managed to not only find a cure to stop himself from dying but take on every major villian in the surrounding area in only 7 hours, a guy who in his second year took down 8 assassins who wanted him dead all in one Christmas Eve night, a guy who took down an entire private militia by himself, led by someone who knew all his moves whilst taking down his entire rogues gallery in the process, again all in one night. Gets wiped the floor by not only 4 mediocrely skilled bad guys when compared to him but, two of them he’s already fought before and previously someone who eventually gets beaten by the same 4 bad guys?

Personally, that wouldn't make a difference to me. They could've made a Suicide Squad game that just focused on their independent story. They could've made a Suicide Squad vs JL game without making it part of the Arkhamverse.
They did neither. They took something already established, took anticipated characters, and killed them all before they even explored the story of how we went from Arkham Knight to the founding of the Justice League.
I don't hate this game because it kills my favorite heroes. I hate it because its a shit story that they had to know would be divisive at best.
Point is, making it non-canon wouldn't give me hope for future games. If they don't care about their story, why should I?

Let me conclude how the Justice League and Brainiac died in this game, talked too much, played too much, and gave the Suicide Squad every opportunity to hit them. Batman didn't use his high tech, Flash was walking the entire time, and Green Lantern was ass anyway so that might be possible, and don't even get me started on Superman.
Batman was locked out . Lex Luthor Said Batman's Dna didn't match so he couldn't access the Batmobile or Batwing

I would say King Shark is the only justice League level threat. He can fight Aquaman, Superboy and flash. Dudes a fucking powerhouse. Deadshot is like a B-list villian. Then Cpt. Boomerang? Depending what comic the dude is OP. Harely is the only one on the team that literally makes no sense and is only there bc of popularity. I have no real issue with the Suicide Squad killing the JL. It's mostly the fact that they don't monopolies on the villians potential and capabilities.

Imagine that after Lex's death, the team went to his corporation and found a plan that Luthor was making with WW to return the league to normal, but at the same time they found weapons to kill them all.
In each confrontation we can choose whether to kill them or save them from Brainiac's control, so Rocksteady would have done his idea of killing the JL and pleasing the fans... Literally NO ONE would complain if it had been like that. (unless the canon ending was the bad one)

So apparently the senior members apparently went to Warner bros and asked to ether a superman game or a Batman beyond game. While the current heads of rocksteady will call bull on it, a bunch of concept art was leaked for the game for superman which looked to be pretty awesome. Eventually Warner bros said they wanted a suicide squad game and the senior staff gave up and left after that. Can’t say I blame them.

But after the credits you see he now uses fear toxic to be Batman. So not sure why this Batman just came back if everyone knows who he is. This is the most disrespectful thing i've ever seen done to the comic heroes i grew up with. Flashs corpse almost gets pissed on, Lantern got a finger torn off and his corpse left lying around in his boxers. Batman gets a morale speech from Harley and then a bullet in his head.
