I was about to buy the monitor 2 weeks ago but i couldnt find the Vesa adapter that benq use to sell.. i heard that alot of people are using 3d print to create one on their own but i just dont trust that little piece of plastic. I wish there was a place where we can buy the adapter again. Other than that, I really love the quality of your video. Pretty sure you will go far man, good job !

@@fxlandry I just checked again, and it seems like the page for purchasing the VESA mount for the EX3501R is unavailable now. I did some more digging and found that, maybe, the company that made these adapters for BenQ went out of business, so now customers are scrambling for a solution! I also looked back at my video again, and realized the VESA kit I was looking at online is only compatible for the older XR3501 and NOT the new EX3501R! Oops, my bad. All these numbers and letters can mess with your head sometimes! You're right, seems like the best solution right now is to 3D print an adapter plate. I will address BenQ regarding this situation and see what they say :)
A1doz It’s an amazing monitor! Probably one of the best ultrawides for productivity, watching movies and gaming for under $800 USD. If you’re planning on doing serious competitive gaming on this monitor though, I’d recommend other options, but most of those would probably cost an arm and a leg 😅 Id say this is the best all around ultrawide monitor if you don’t want to sell your kidneys.
Protip. If you are reviewing a monitor, where the display is most important aspect, dont use dumb filters in your video. I appreciate it looks cool and modern but we want to see a true reflection of the screen and colours.

george michas If you’re mounting it to a wall and watching movies at an angle, I’d definitely recommend getting a TV or an IPS monitor instead. This monitor has a VA panel which doesn’t have the best viewing angles.
