Hi Pete, brilliant video again mate you always do these comparison videos so well with all the info you could possibly need👌I remember you telling me that the 1.3CC setup isn't a 1.3 tip but a 1.15 but I really don't know what Sata is trying to achieve by blatantly lying to us about the tip size, I'm sure this comes under the false advertising law or something🤔sorry but I do like a good rant🧐😂 I think someone else mentioned here about trying the 1.2i tip with the CC cap, I think that would be an interesting test to see if the CC cap still atomises the clear the same as the 1.15 but I don't think it will be quite as good, I will try it myself but you would do it so much better than I ever could in your videos👏👏ok cheers Pete👍
Hi John, Thanks mate, Yeah, I will get round to it although a 1.1 set in the RP is what I really fancy giving a try 😀 It'll be good to see how you get on if you give it a try mate, wonder if the distance will still need to be closer, I expect so, cheers John
I think the 1.1 in the RP would be a good combination it might be as good as the 1.3CC🤔I'll see if I can try the 1.2i tip with the CC cap next week and if that works I also have the 1.3i as well🤔😁😂 Cheers mate👍
Hi mate, I have two 90lt compressors linked, both are14.5 cfm belt drives, so 180lts total. I normally only have one 90lt running and it can keep up with the most guns, obviously it wouldn't power a mask as well, i use another compressor for that it needed in a separate building and just run a line in
BRILLIANT VIDEO 📹 MY FAVOURITE GUN 🔫 PETE AS YOU KNOW IAM A BIG SATAJET X5500 FAN AND SAGOLA WAS TALKING TO MY PAL KANDYMAN HE RECKONS THE IWATA SERIES 2 DIGITAL VERSION WS400 1.3 HD CLEAR COAT PAINT GUN IS BETTER THAN THE SATAJET CC CLEAR COAT PAINT GUN 🔫
Hi Mate, They are a bit different, to be honest it's difficult to split them, the Iwata is easier to use, the Sata can give as good finishes as long as you use it like I explained in the video. If you use it like the standard RP, it disappoints.
Good vids. 1 question is the series 2 digital version and the normal performe the same ?lik the only difference is the regulator? I order the digital but they sent me the wrong one.. night just keep it if ibknow they are the same gun @@peteshobbies5383
Thats interesting on the actual nozzle size. Have you tried the cc air cap on the other nozzles? I'm wondering if the cc aircap sprays different. If I get one will try on a 1.4. I use a 1.3I rp for base and 1.4 O rp for clear.
Called Sata on this as they do not sell the CC version in the states apparently as I have wanted one and can only order through a UK company,,,, was told by Sata that this is due too the viscosity of clears sold I. The US VS other parts of the world. Idk if this is true or not but it is the story they are selling
Hi buddy, I think it will be emissions, I know certain States , California for example has very strict rules, I think the CC setup just wouldn't be approved by the EPA, it's the same reason why some Devilbiss cap's aren't available in the US. Sprayguns direct, as you probably know will ship to the US, people tell me you don't have to pay UK tax or US tax so quite a good deal, cheers mate 👍
Ive measured a 5000rp 1.3 at an actual 1.5. I think its more random. My 1.2 5500x is larger than my 1.3 rp 5500. Whem i originally got my 5500rp 1.2 it was a cannon and ordered a 1.1 rp that spraying ppg great.
Hi Mate, that's what I'm looking out for, a 1.1 RP set up to see how it compares. Maybe they really have no idea of what size they are drilling them, to keep us all on our toes 🤔 😆, cheers, mate 👍

@JohnWD40TC02 I'll look out for it mate 👍
Hope to do it tomorrow (Monday) Pete👍
@JohnWD40TC02 cheers John, looking forward to it, cheers mate 👍
Is the 1.3 sata 4000 jet good for clear coat
Hi buddy, Yes, it needs to be the RP version, though, for the best results 👍
If you don't mind saying - what is the CFM of your compressor used in these videos?

@@peteshobbies5383 I didn't know this . I assumed there would be heavy import duties
I wonder if you ordered a 1.1, if in fact it would be a 1.2?
That's certainly what I have found with the X5500 tips I have, the 1.2 is 1.25 and the 1.3 is 1.35

@@peteshobbies5383 I think satas are like socks. Small medium large and extra large.
The 1.1RP 5500 sprays thick clear like buttah!
