Alright!! The lad done a cracking repair mucka...being a panel beater myself I've come across other people's work over the years and can safely say he's on point 👌 great team work guy's
The young man’s doing a Stella job good on him and he’s got a great teacher so he’s obviously bringing his game on and doing very well 👌 nice job fellas I’d be over the moon with it if it was mine 👍
the boy done good 👍👍👍👍 i had a demo on the cc great gun run it full chat 2-2.5bar lays down lovely im tempted to get one myself, just on the back burner right now got a bit going on 😂😂
The boy did great…. Reece did a really good job, nice flat finish, hope Simon from Sata gives you the gun to keep you are a great ambassador for the sata brand and showing what great guns they are.
Cheers Rhys is doing great I am well pleased with him, he was only working for me temporarily at the beginning as he’s been trying to make something for himself in football, now I don’t know what I would do without him Simon’s took the gun back now but there’s another video coming up with me using it and he’s sorted me a good deal on one ☝️
Nice to see a young lad making progress 👍, i much prefer a slower gun so i can see the clear laying down especially on bigger jobs . Do you ever shrink back the panel after pulling i don't normally just tap it back.
Thanks jimmy, yeah I do shrink it when it starts popping in and out I’ve got an Audi A5 door repair coming up soon there was a fair amount of damage probably needed a new door so there’s a bit of shrinking done on that job 👌
Great work… you refer to it as a ‘cheapie’ … out of curiosity, what price would you expect to pay for a Rear Bumper clear coat only, already prepped? Thanks
depends on a of things really, when you say just needs clear coating has it been painted already and you want to flow coat it, also what's it been prepped with ie grade of sanding scratches
Ηello my friend....I like your job...I have mipa solvent base system and i paint cx2 and cc9 clearcoats....What do you think about mipa and which is the best clear for you?I also use Sata guns... Regards from Greece...😊
Hello 👋, I like Mipa a lot, I had a few little issues in the beginning with Waterbase coat not drying properly but it’s ok now, the whole system is really good and good value I use CX4 and CC9 clear coat CC9 is my favourite clear, but they both are good CX4 is great for quick drying but is hard to polish if you leave it for too long
Hi mate, just a comment on the cc really, your work is faultless as usual, So the I think I mentioned a while ago I got the cc, I actually sold it straight away, it's a small repair gun in my opinion, big full paint jobs would take forever but my biggest issue was the feel in the hand & then the price, but saying that I'm a Devilbiss guy and think the dv1 base cap 1.2 out does the cc all round, but the cc is probably best for small repair jobs but for the money I just say think twice
I use Mipa, CC9, CX4, and ive just started with a new one CX2, I've got a video out soon with a little review on it. All the paint products on the videos are Mipa, the descriptions on each video say what paints were used 👍
The CC is designed for just clear coat but you could also use a X5500 RP with a i pattern or a o pattern for clear coat, i would recommend a 1.2, they are all excellent for clear coat, the CC lays clear coat a bit finer/flatter and puts a but less product on, i also use a RP 1.2 o its more of a oval spray pattern so is wetter in the middle, if you have used old satajets in the past the o pattern is more like the traditional satajet set ups
I ou 0 ?
@@lapprentisage7926 Even tho the CC is a 1.3 is actually slightly smaller its a 1.275 and has a re engineered i pattern so is unique to the other set ups, if you have already have a 1.3 i set up i would go for the CC it will be similar to what you used to id say it would put a bit of a flatter finer coat on, on a standard 5500 i would find a 1.3 a bit to heavy for the clear coat i use so i would go for a 1.2, i like the o set up as its wetter in the middle and a bit faster
@@lapprentisage7926 me personally i would go for the 1.2 o as its a bit faster and i like a bit more product on the panel, i normally wind in the fluid control half a turn, but i think the CC would be great if you used to the i pattern

Yeah sort of I don’t show any of the swearing and stressing out but I might start leaving it in 😂
An X rated “Humble Paint Sprayer” 😂

Oh forgot to say, I use the base cap on the dv1 for clear and it's great & for 2k gloss pro lite TE20 but we're all different
