Hi Bryan, I've not used one outside before. Normally, if I do something outside, I use the Devilbiss Tekna Pro Lite and the Pro Lite S as they are very forgiving. Maybe it's down to the size. These things are quite small, so that could be why they are upset outside, cheers mate, keep up the good work 👏

Hi Lesli, My main system is solvent , so that's what I use most of the time, but sometimes I get a waterbourn, and it's definitely different to spray. Once you pick it up, it's OK, but a little disconcerting at first, it's definitely easier as far as reactions go if you're doing part panels, as there is much less solvent to react with the existing paintwork edges. The ones I used have all covered well, so you use less, although it's twice the price, also harder to get dry in the cold. Cheers, buddy, thank you 👍

Hi Mate, Not in the UK. It's freely available but maybe some markets it is discounted. The price has gone up, around £390 GBP now, I think. I got mine, used but hardly used for £460 for the pair a few years ago now. which seems like a bargain these days, especially considering the condition they were in.

Hi mate, I don't know the X2020, but the CV1 is quite different. The tip and baffle are like the Gti Pro, not the NVE. They do look similar, though

Hi, I warm my materials up in a microwave, so base coat and clear coats. Normally in the UK the temperatures are on the cool side so it helps the clear flow out

The GF3 is physically much smaller. This is full-size, so if you need a smaller form, then drilling the GF3 will give you that, if you don't mind full size then, for the money, this is OK, the main benefit is low air consumption

Hi Mate, You would struggle to do a whole car in one go with this. It's a brilliant gun but would just be too slow, not just from your time point of view but to keep the materials open, particularly the clear coat. You could, of course, do it in stages ? Cheers ✌️

Hi Jim, Normally, they will give a viscosity rating as well, a Din 4 rating, that's when it's worth checking the viscosity in your conditions to see where you are. Temperature will have a bearing on the viscosity, so if it's in the parameters of the TDS for Din4 time, then 1.8 should be ok. If not, then bigger, alternatively thin the material out a little but bear in mind what I was saying in the video about over thinning, hope that helps 👍

Hi Mate, Yes, I would call it more of an "I" pattern. This is the Devilbiss T110 cap. Changing to a TE20 cap would give more of "O" Pattern, but still not that pronounced, I did a video on Pro Lite fan patterns , so it may help to see the difference. Hi mate, we don't get it anything like as humid as you do in Thailand but certainly in more hotter and humid conditions I would bring the gun closer to the work, this will give a small wetter pattern, obviously you will have to move a bit faster, I find this keeps the edges of the pattern a little tighter, which helps in hot conditions, especially when fast curing clears

Hi John, thanks, mate. I've been meaning to get this out for ages but hadn't got around to it. I know people often think there's something wrong with a gun when it's not the guns fault. Pete, something I used to see, but haven’t seen recently, is rotating the pattern to horizontal and spraying onto a wall to see if the runs are evenly spaced. That has been helpful for me when I wanted to know it a pattern was even. Might not suit your filming setup but it has been useful to me.

Hi Mate, a separate gun for primer is the way to go, then base and clear can be the same gun, the Ntools 4000B is available in 1.8 and 1.3 so primer in 1.8 and the other for base/clear

Hi Mate, I would probably go with the TE10 Pro Lite for base coats and the Astro for clear. The Astro is a better clear gun than it is for basecoats, so that's the best way round, I think. I hope that helps, cheers, buddy 👍

Binks trophy uses 24 cfm with hvlp cap 32 h cap . Binks has other ones that are lower cfm though .they got assortment of caps .I saw a air compressor for 800 dollars 80 gal 15 cfm @90 psi 3 phase .it gets expensive and it might have more to do with the paint😢

Hi Mate, Some clear coats respond very well to some heat. It makes then have a much lower viscosity, I did a video showing how, just heating it up changes the viscosity twofold. As you say, something the clear will flow out easier than others, that's where the better clears come into their own and can give a better finish, Thanks buddy, much appreciated 👍

Hi David, I can't say I've noticed any fall off in the Kapci gloss level over time, I have a few car components, a bonnet or hood, and a bumper , on separate car's, both well over a year ago and they are fine. I only use the fast hardener, though, which is equivalent to standard in any other make I use, I'm sure the speed of the hardener has a lot to do with degradation over time. The Kapci certainly seems to hold up as well as the Mipa CX4 I've used on people's cars. These vehicles I see quite often, also done more than 12 months ago, and the gloss levels seem in line with the Kapci

Hi, probably the 717, they are quite different to use, the 715 is much faster, more like a Sata 5000 RP, the 717 is more like an LPH400 or Wider4L, but better 😉
