  • Adam and Ben take apart the Piscifun Alijoz low-profile baitcaster reels in both the 8.1:1 and the 5.9:1 speeds so they can clean it and lube it up for next season. They show you some tricks to help you take it apart and put it back together successfully that will work on almost any baitcasting reel.

Awesome Vid. I'm waiting for my 300 to arrive and like the dude on the right said to clean and check for over greasing or dry grease on the inside.

Brakleen is your friend. And a toothbrush. Grease all the washers lightly IMO.

Good detailed breakdown. You also could have taken out the two screws that hold the drive shaft plate in place, çleaned and applied some fresh grease and oil to the drive shaft bearing. Nothing can fall out when it's taken apart so totally safe to go that ond step further to access the bearing. 👍

  • @lifeisfuneh

Thank you guys! My 2 reels developed slight clicking feel/sound when under load, any ideas? Thanks

  • @elijahcourtright4417

my reel developed a click as i reel after i took it apart. i double checked video and my own pictures i took along the way and all pieces are back correctly. any ideas?

  • @Tauseef_007

In reel why they use opinion gear plastic collar and two small gears also plastic materials. Why not using metallic.

  • @timsmith8757

Is there an exploded view of the parts somewhere? Maybe? Couldn't find one, not even in the manual. Thanks. Very Helpful, btw.

Great video, guys. Thanks for making this. Unfortunately, I am unable to remove my spool for some reason. I've taken off the side, but it won't slide out. It's like it's caught on something. Any suggestions?
