This is going to be my first baitcaster reel. Looking forward to it!
I just ordered that "stormtrooper" version (LOL) today based on its weight and previous success with the Alloy M model. Will be pairing it with a very light 6.5 medium Ugly Stik Carbon casting rod. I really like light, strong combos for salmon fishing, too much fun!
Can’t wait to get and try this one out!
We shall see what makes this reel tick. I'm intrigued enough to purchase a couple and do a complete tear down.

Piscifun to my knowledge has still not tackled the BFS market it would be nice to see them come out with a BFS reel that competed with the JDM stuff for half the price and while you are at itplease make it a better reel than the kastking Zephyr which suffers from inadequate breaking and spool to housing tolerances that allow for your line to get sucked into the spool shaft bearing assembly causing much headache~ I know because I owned one briefly and returned it because I was not satisfied with the zephyr reel performance.
Please make a BFS real and you will have my business and probably others as well. Good luck and thanks for the video
When winding a 0.16mm braided line on Piscifun Carbon XCS, do I need to use a backing so that there is not enough of it? Wouldn't 150 meters be enough to fill the spools?

When can we get a linecounter on the chaos reel? Really only thing missing. Got rid of all my lews reels for the bass gear now for walleye we need a linecounter. Love all the reels ive gotten from piscifun and if i get back imto bass fishing im sure ill own a couple of these new ones.

I have a few Torrents and Alloy M and found the Alloy M casts much farther than my Torrents. With your experience does the new XCS cast farther than the Alloy M? Looking for max distance for my deep cranking rods. Thanks and love my Piscifun reels as they are by far the best bang for the buck!
Hi Peter! The Carbon XCS and Alloy M are close! The difference is that the XCS is much lighter after a long day of cranking! Thank you for the kind words!
Hi. Do you guys know if a drag clicker can be added to this particular reel? I saw a case where someone did this with his Alloy M reel and it worked. It would be nice to know if the gear, drag sizes are the same or different in the case of these two reels.

The lack of drag clickers on their baicasters is what's holding me back to not buy these reels. Coming from spinning reels. Can you change it's carbon drag discs with a set of drag clicker? If yes who's making them? I'm located in Europe so a need AliExpress sellers. Thx.
I have the Alloy M and love it .In the market for a higher ratio , would I be better getting another Alloy M or are these just as good
I like the look of this reel, but know what I'm getting with the AM.That reel is a tank.
The Alloy M being an aluminum frame is going to be your workhorse. Better suited for heavier applications. If you want to make bomb casts and have a light reel that’s smooth, this is the one. Quality is great.
How are they for light line 8 to 12 lb? Would the be good for throwing jerkbaits?
They are perfect! I use them for big smallies with jerkbaits!
