I love this reel! Piscifun has knocked it out of the park. The drag is impressive…but they are Soo smooth and cast effortlessly!!
you have to manufacture a flat reel for the alloy m to cast lighter bait, i'm brazil. when you have the opportunity, come test equipment and record in Brazilian waters, sport fishing here is sensational, the fishermen here are very fond of the piscifun brand for its quality.
Pretty damn strong drag to break that 80lb braid! Gotta get that!

I am loving mine but wish it had a drag clicker. Does anyone know which reels out there have the same drag washer specs as the alloyM cause there are some aftermarket drag clicker kits i’d like to try out

I love piscifun reels. Just picked up the new alloy x spin reel this things pretty nice! You should test it out 26 lbs of drag supposedly.

Had the same setup, love the reel (tank) but the Serpent rod is garbage, their premium grips lasted about 15 trips before they shredded. I will stick to either Eva foam or cork grips from now on.

I just think it's weird to pronounce it Pee-cee-fun. You'd think that since Pisces is the symbol for fish, they would pronounce pie-see-fun.
I agree, and they could have simply left off the "fun" at the end and just call it "Pisces", as "Piscifun" makes it sound like a cheap Chinese reel, which it is not. I have the Alijos 400 and the Alloy M, which both are great reels so far! Among the best bargains out there!

Drag on a baitcaster is unnecessary. I always lock mine down as tight as it will go. If I need, I just use the thumb bar to give line back.
