I (29M) got divorced from my wife (27F) two months ago. She'd been cheating on me with my estranged brother (27M) for a while and four months ago, I finally found out when she told me that she was pregnant. Initially, she tried to convince me that the baby was ours but my brother's frequent visits made me question everything so I decided to check her phone. I confronted her about whatever texts I found and she ended up confessing that she'd been cheating on me with my brother since she pretty much had no other option anymore. My family and I hadn't been on talking terms ever since I left home when I turned eighteen. They'd always treated me like an outsider even in my own family and my brother was the golden child. He was the best, it was always my brother this and my brother that.

It's your typical Redditor response to a fight or when people just trash talk you to your face just stand there and take it. Then post on Reddit what you would have said to them but you didn't 😂 OP never stands up for him self all of those comebacks were pretty much in his head. How sad nobody even knew that his wife cheated with his brother

I agree they were probably trying to provoke OP, maybe to anger him into striking first whilst one of them was recording to get him into trouble and prove their case. But staying silent doesn't diffuse the situation, it just encourages them to escalate the hostilities to get a rise out of you, OP should simply read the riot act about how it's them that are the lessers for treating him like crap his whole life whilst celebrating his non-achieving deadbeat bro, make them understand that he isn't believing their idiotic point of view about him being in the wrong for not being a doormat. Also never threaten to call the police, just call them before or instead of engaging them, threatening to call may make them back off but for people this entitled or deluded they're more likely to call your bluff, use the time before they arrive to concoct a story about you being the aggressor, or in the most extreme case murder you, hide your body, and claim your estate as next of kin.

I had to change mine after 14 years and you would be shocked on how many things you gotta update and fix and the constant calls I get from previous owners of the number I get. Like I know way to well that the guys that have my old phone number never paid bills because I get collections calls for some random family.

I'm not sure of the jurisdiction, but this doesn't make sense. Alimony for a two year marriage? How did the wife take so much? The marital assets would be split in half. That wouldn't be much in a two year marriage. If it was an at-fault state, she'd owe him. He must have had a crap divorce attorney. And the stories the family told the court wouldn't have mattered unless there were custody issues. So, this doesn't make much sense.

Get cameras, proof when they show up again for restraining order. Also get your lawyer to send them a warning that they are not welcome. Also legally sever your ties with the family, then you are no longer family and they can't try and use that against you.
