- Hey guys, today I began working on a list of things I have to do on my 2007 supercharged pontiac vibe. In this video we remove all my spacers, swap out for my wider enkei t6s wheels and replace the rear drum brake housing. If you liked this make sure to leave a like and subscribe for more content!

you can have your brake drums drilled just like disc brake rotors and will make a HUGE improvement ...

Where did you find those headlights? I can't find headlight housings other than the stock style one. Ugh.
These are the stock style with a black housing off eBay, along with a set of fiberglass eyelids also off eBay 😁

King_Kryptic hey man, just look up “Pontiac vibe eyelids” on eBay and “03-08 Pontiac vibe headlights”, the black housings I believe we’re specific to 03-04 but are an exact fit still! 😁

That’s in the plans for sure! And it come with this U brackets (4) and 4 washers, 4 plastic like absorbers/spacer things, 4 plates and 8 Crown nuts. you put the U bracket around your existing cross rail, slide down the spacer/absorber thing and the metal plate and then tighten down the crown nuts 🤙🏼

What size are those white Enkei rims and the tires?
They are 17x8 and 17x9 staggered with 245/40 tires and +45 offset. As well as a 1” spacer in front and 1.5” in rear for close to flush fitment 😁
Wow. Did you find a need to trim or bend the fender and quarter panel wheel openings?
@@josescarsplanesmotorcycles3467 yes I did, I cut and fold the underside of the fender lip of the rear, it didn’t rub anywhere but there except there and after the fold it was just a noise didn’t harm the tire at all. That and our crappy won’t stay in place fender liners would rub on the highway 😂
How did you convert to struts for the hood
Francisco Repollet if you go on EBay lookup “matrix XRS gas hood struts” and there’s a kit available. It’s possible to move the fender mounting point of it a tad further forward (towards the firewall) to get a higher hood clearance but I did not opt into doing so 😁 price was somewhere between $50-$80 I believe 😁

1.5” definitely works a bit better with a ~+40mm offset but these are the ones ^ 🤙🏼
Thanks. Amazon shows them currently unavailable. Buy thats ok because I am thinking about just doing 1" in the back to see what it looks like. Then maybe 1.5" in the back with the 1"ers on the front. Do they have to be hub centric?
@@jl2w711 definitely get hub centric, and our cars have a .5” difference in width from front to back (back wheels sit in .5” further than front) so get 1” and 1.5” if you want your wheels to be the same distance outward 😁

Did you find out what the funny thing your car was doing? My 07 is doing the same thing and can't figure it out!!
Yes I actually did! My spark plugs were fouling since my tune is slightly rich when in boost, so unburnt fuel was collecting on the spark plugs and making them go bad. I also did an oil change and new serpentine belt (think i was getting belt slip since the old one was very worn out!), now it feels like a whole new car!

I have 2 Vibes. I'm trying to fix up both. One is a daily driver. Ugh.
Supercharged means turbo, supercharger, not new rims, spark plugs, and all extra upgrades. That’s not no supercharged car.
