But seriously afaik this is specifically used for sappers and/or EOD, or at least munitions tasks, hence the pliers being shaped for detonator caps. It is however a beast of a tool and I do like it and might give in and buy one for fun.
Interesting alternative to the multitools we see from Leatherman, Gerber, Victorinox, SOG, etc. Somewhat overbuilt. The knife looks good. The pliers have potential if the jaws were shaped differently. Overall, too heavy for me to belt carry comfortably.
attention, the biggest flat screwdriver on the front side near the mounting of the clip is said to be for artillery matches... the string is also a fuse, probably for the belt or the clip against loss, it is possible to pull the fuse with pliers and in the opposite direction before the lever of the pliers is released .. . the saw is rather used for cutting hard materials and hard wood and iron, it can be bones, carbon fiber boards and the like, hard wood..
where did you get that instruction sheet? Can't find a scan of it anywhere online. PS I would keep the spring, it is there to keep the tension lock on the pliers engaged. If you removed it the pliers might unlock by themselves. It also allows you to disengage the pliers one-handed by pressing down on the handle.

I have this, tried to cut the wire in my garden fence to create an opening for a hedgehog. It’s a basic metal fence behind some trees but I could barely cut through them with the tool. Kinda sucks :(

Это убогий кусок напрасно потраченного металла, никаким оружием оно не является (бить мультитулом как куском кирпича, серьезно?), свойства его как саперного инструмента тоже вызывают сомнения. Стыдно, что такую срамоту показывают иностранцам. Ни от одного военнослужащего пользовавшегося этим недоразумением не слышал ни одного лестного отзыва о нем(((
