As stated at the beginning of the video, Russian Cold Camo is an American family owned company that sells high quality gear for the woods. Thats why I use it. It works very well for the area I live in. There is nothing do with politics, current events or any kind of nonexistent affiliation.

Interesting tool. With its military orientation, I'd venture a guess that the circular jaws are designed to crimp blasting caps for demolitions.

to get the awl, it was more convenient to use the pliers latch, release the pliers and slide the latch towards them, it will lift the awl so that it is more convenient for you to take it
Terrific review brother with nice demonstrations. This is a nice utility knife that is very well suited to urban survival or work related scenarios. I love knives of all types but multi purpose utility knives rank up there to me and this one seems sturdy and durable. The self defense uses are very nice as well if needed and that tanto blade design will cut very deep. Looks like I'm going to dig into the piggy bank because I'd like to have this as an EDC. If there are other versions with other tool options, it would be super if you can do reviews on those as well in future videos .. Thanks my friend!🤙
Thank you kindly brother! This is the only current multitool that I am aware of. I believe there was an older pocket knife version. The current issue bayonet is most impressive. Its a little much for edc, but performance is spectacular. Have a good one! 🤝

Thanks Neil. German kit is very solid. I don’t need pliers in the woods very often, but when they are needed, it sure is nice to have a set. I used to carry a small set of vice grips in place of a multitool. Small, light and cheap, but very useful.

I broke the spring below the lever. So I had to buy a different one. Tool is sturdy though.
a small phillips screwdriver can be easily retracted by placing the plier lever in the furthest position... and the same awl retracted using the safety device which will surely pinch the lever in the opposite direction than when pulling out the plier lever

Why does the Soviet era version of the leatherman look so cool a Diesel punk!
The large flat tip screwdiver. I've heard that it has a secondary role as a old fashioned "fire steel" and will throw sparks when hit with a piece of flint. Are you able to confirm, or deny , this ?
If it is made from carbon steel, which it likely is, it will spark. Pretty much any metal part of it. But personally, I don’t feel like beating on it with a rock to test, as I would rather not ding it up.
Also that is a very small striking area anyway.

It’s great. A little heavy, but built like a tank. I used it a ton over the last year. The saw blades weren’t used much, but everything else had a place. I would make a video, but unfortunately no longer have it in my possession, as I gifted it to a friend. I would definitely like another one.

But, I am somewhat emotional when it comes to Ukraine. I have friends there and I'm not sure how they are fairing. I'm thinking that the Russians must suffer the economic consequences and that means anyone supporting the Russian economy. Certainly, Russian surplus is a fraction of a drop in the economic bucket but I can demonstrate my displeasure by not supporting that small piece of the surplus industry.

Guys! I don't think an 80$ item is a big deal, especially if YOU get use out of it. I mean, if our current Potato n chief is still sending hundreds of millions to Russia for oil, I dont think buying a small tool or camping gear will be anything significant. Its up to you, its your choice. Russia isn't popular at the moment, understandable. We all know why. Its not Jesse's fault, its not the common Russians fault. Matter of fact a majority are against the war. Russians are protesting and getting arrested and beaten protesting. No need to hate the whole country. Nobody wants this war including 90% of Russia.

Поэтому снаряжение изношенное только по документам и подлежит уничтожению. Потом снаряжение попадает на коммерческий рынок и продаётся официально. Да, это коррупционная схема и это плохо. Но в настоящее время США напали на Россию и пытаются либо уничтожить её население, либо нанести максимальный ущерб. России в итоге ничего не останется, как уничтожить США в ответ вместе с её союзниками. Возможно Россия тоже пострадает, но ей не оставляют другого выбора.

Good clip on this multitool and its function, but under present circumstances I wouldn't spend a penny on a product made and imported by Russia. Yes I recognize that the importer is an American family as you note, but their business model is one based upon profiting from those (primarily) Russian military surplus items they've imported from Russia. I've enjoyed your channel up to a point. But when i read comments about "de-nazification", "new" world order, and videos of blatant Russian propoganda and verified lies, I draw a line. An entire country is being laid to waste, with countless (at this point) civilian victims consisting of men, women, children, the elderly and disabled. Hell, even dogs are being shot in the street. Not to mention the million plus refugees seeking a hot meal and a roof over their heads with no thought of where to go. I harbor no ill will for the Russian people. They're just trying to get through life as we are. But their leader Putin, repeatedly `re-elected' by the popular vote for over twenty years, is a corrupt criminal of the highest order.
