I bought one of these a few years ago. It's the best e-tool I've ever used. It sharpens easily and holds an edge well. 2 or 3 coats of BLO protects the wood nicely and improves the grip.
Great shovel...the good thing is you can quickly replace the handle even in the woods.Only screwdriver with you..and it is possible to replace the handle for long shaft for hard jobs in woods in a stand👍👍👍
Nice. I ordered mine from ebay for $20 shipped...hopefully it's on its way...but no cover. Another $15 to $20 for a cover like yours, you got a deal. I do have one of these covers on my mpl-50. It will be going on my ratnik shovel. If mine comes in I'll do a comparison.
The folding type my FSV is the old style wood handle the tri folds always pinched paid army price for one the still in the chalahoochie river threw that $%]:so far lol
