Feeling rubbish today getting over shingles. Didnt work as hard as i normally would but much more than would on my own. GCN kept so many of us motivated and focused through lockdown love that i still come back to it now. Thank you for all that you do. Mandy Belfast
My gym has cut down on spin classes for financial reasons so I discovered this 40 minute class and have been loving it for the past year. I use it at least 3-4 times a week in addition to my scheduled classes. Thanks guys for putting it together.
I came from my angiology's doctor office today and her words are still ringing in my head - you must strengthen those legs, it is vital to your health. I remembered the spinning classes I used to like so much when I used to live in Ireland. The only thing I did not like were the judgmental fit people because I am a bigger girl. So I have decided to buy a bike for home, for spinning classes and see if there are classes online. That is how I found you and I am so glad I did. Thank you!
Successfully avoidance this for nearly a year... Today was the day, and fears were realized..... This nearly broke me. I'm a trail runner who's obsessed with GCN training, and I typically can hang 100%... But that 3rd 10/10 effort got me... 20 secs left and bowed out.... Finished the 4th one though! Thanks Conner and GCN Rock stars!!!!
I'm 163.3 kg. I couldn't make it past 26 minutes, but I'm proud I made it that far. I've tried all sorts of low impact exercises Walking is too boring, running hurts and is too hard. I can't swim because my gym only has locker rooms and I'm a passing trans man (I'm uncomfortable to go into the men's locker rooms, but women freak out if I go into the women's locker rooms), and I was at a loss for what to do next. This was perfect. Thanks GCN!
I would love to have a longer cooling down you can follow after a tough session like this. I always do one myself, but some GCN company would be awesome!
I agree, but they are trying to say the workout is 40 mins in this case. They have a couple 15 minute videos, which are trying to attract people with very limited time. But their warmup and cooldown is like 2 minutes each, haha.

Second session in as many weeks, it is brutal, but noticed a slight improvement in recovery in session. Heartrate maxing at 178bpm, not bad for a 62 YO. Well done GCN - keep up the good work!👏👏👏
Have done this session a few times since it was released. Definitely my favourite so far. Those 3 sprint kicks at the end post the 18 min ramp are gratuitous pain!

I ride and train alot, and that was the closest I've come to puking in a long time!! So far out my comfort zone in those last two max efforts . Amazing. Needed that.
Maybe it's because one of the men was a presenter and the other was an ex pro? I don't know who the two women were so just a though (which may be in itself problematic) . GCN have female presenters and talk a lot about female races so I think they are part of the solution not the problem.
The female riders didn’t have microphones on. Maybe they didn’t want to talk? This is a complete non-issue. Don’t watch the channel if you don’t like it.
Another great session from GCN. Guys you are a Godsend to us mere mortals during Lockdown. Thank you very very much. So appreciated. One thing I felt is that the first block, the 5 minute recovery and after the first 1 minute sprint the 3 minute recovery was too much. It should maybe have been shortened and have a longer recovery at the end.
A great but really quite a tough session. Possibly the most intense of the gcn classes I've come across so far. Average heart rate of 165 peaking at 190 proves it!!
Did this ride on Thursday 1/20 which is the first day of my work weekend ... Great way to get the "weekend" started! Music track was motivating as well 😎

this is my first time doing HIIT cycling./.....and i'l;l be honest. at first i was out of breath. im not really good at lifting. But i love the energy and the motivation the trainers give. Thank god for this workout. i broke out a lot of sweat and now i wonder if i should get a new stationery bike...hahahahha
That 3 minute at 9 and then 1 at 10 is one of the hardest sections I've done on a turbo. Very tough session. I do wonder why no one in the video seems to be totally spent after a 10 intensity interval? I can understand that the presenter needs to talk but I was gasping. Surely a 10 effort is a 10 effort regardless of the watts one can produce? Great video. I also like the advanced warning of the next interval. Very useful.
GCN could you next make a 45 min hiit session with more structured sets. Your hiit sessions are great so far but I find them way more randomly structured to properly focus during a workout.
Thanks for the feedback, it's good to work some variation into your training to give your body more of a challenge and to stress it in different ways, but of course we'd like to do more structured sessions too!

Since lockdown I've worked through the entire library and I think the videos have been excellent. I don't have access to a power meter and not interested in Zwift at all. I've got a cadence sensor linked to my Garmin and HR monitor. Guage my workouts on RPE and have to say I feel fit. Keep them coming in. 🎯👍
This workout is amzing ! I tried it to day !! Bit of a newbie but i am training for a triathlon and some cycle events next year. Love the types of workout GCN have for strength endurance, change of pace and with the groups love it !! Keep it up guys :)
