Unboxing the 2024 Ranger Raptor - Is It Worth the Hype?

I recently had a chance to do a partial review of the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor. This truck is built for the great outdoors, and even for the street.
With 405 HP the 3.0 nano EcoBoost v6 and the weight of the ranger this should be a rocket when run hard. How will it hold up? We will have to wait and see.

It would’ve been perfect if it had rear air vents like the Australian version and not just a weird looking hole, but still love it.

I’m kind of done with Ford and maybe all of them (big 3).
I went to a local dealer a couple of weeks ago to “order” a Ranger Raptor and found out they are not allowing it. Said Ford was allocating so many and I couldn’t just custom order.
Which is completely ignorant but I started to think, I bet these dealers will mark them up after they get on the lot.
So I decided to attempt plan b, a Bronco Wildtrak…well another local (McKinney texas) dealer showed me the write up and it had $3800 in “adds” over msrp!
No description and the only exclamation was “we add these to all of our vehicles”…hahaha
Welp…if I’m going to wait it might be Lexus or Toyota as they have yet to screws us. (5 Lexus’s and 2 of them were the GX).
I’m thinking about the Colorado ZR2 Bison now.
BUT! Right now I’m sweating them out as consumers seem to be tired of the high prices and the market has really cooled down.
Hoping the dealers reap what they sow..😂✌🏼

I agree some dealers, especially with the limited trims are still holding onto the 2020 through 2022 business model. I’m pretty certain that most of them are doing it now for survival and not greed. However, if you really want a ranger raptor or a bronco of any trim I would suggest you just start reaching out to all the dealers in the US. Someone will have a bronco for you on the lot and an allocation will probably come available because a lot of people that ordered the Ranger Raptors are not going to be taking delivery due to current interest rates and other economic uncertainty.

If you look at how the ranger raptor is built, it is definitely in a different class

Cool truck , the only thing I don’t like is the orange Accents on the seats in around the heater vents, I’m not into bright colors in the interior of a car or truck
