2024 Bronco Raptor STARTS at $89,000... It's insane.
pocket change.
Ranger Raptor is going to be like $55,000, seems like a way better deal.
@@jeffk464 I priced one out on Ford's website - loaded up it barely cracks $60K.
Braptor in comparison to Ranger Raptor shows how much the Braptor is price inflated.
I know it's too early, but I can't wait until you can try out a Range Raptor.
Fun, comfort, usable, and a great all-around cross-country off-roader. That's exactly how I feel about my Gen 1 Raptor. Every year I do a 2 week overlanding trip and I'm 1 month away from this year's in SW Colorado and the Moab area. Maybe I'll even see you TFL guys on (or off) the road.
Perfect timing. Just finished cutting the grass 🤙
Your pricing is wrong on the Bronco Raptor. If you were lucky enough to get a 22 they were $75,000ish. Ford marked up the price $20,000 for 2023. If you went to buy a new 2023 you can’t find one under $95,000. I just saw one sell at a local dealer for MSRP $99,000! My understanding is Ford wanted to keep dealers from marking them up so they did it themselves
Nothing like a good healthy recession to smash those prices back down.
Im saving up for the Raptor EV that will be 200k.
@@CRABlife-iv6fvya, I'm waiting for solid state batteries. Range isn't there yet...
Keep making Raptor R videos. Awesome truck!!
That is a “Rapto” or an “aptor” it says it right on the side. Apparently Ford didn’t pay much attention to their colors when designing the exterior decals/color.
Adaptive FOK.....😂😂😂. Can't stop laughing at that lol. Great video ♥️
Bronco will prolly go more places but you can haul a lot more with the truck
Boy I wish I could take you up on that offer Roman. Sadly I don't have a Bronco and, even more sadly, I'm in Oxfordshire. 😂 I do love the videos, as much for the reviews as for the scenery.
Question. onXOffroad whom sponsors you was just doing an off road competition. 15K build challenge. How come TFL was not part of that event? 🤔
Well done, Roman.
Love my 3rd gen Raptor EcoBoost fuel range and pro power onboard.
Roman with you owning & having time behind the wheel of both which one do you prefer between the Raptor and the TRX??
Just curious seeing how I'll never own either.
NGL, thought he was going to say "afternoon delight." LOL
Really enjoy this video’s, even on $100K plus vehicles. 🤗
I was on a trail with a group for about 6 hours one of the guys had a wrangler with a hellcat motor in it and probably another 30 grand of modifications and his jeep sounded alot better than my truck but after 3 hours he had to leave to get gas and come back I know I had as much as he did even though the modifications on his jeep cost more than my truck
Nice
Take it up redcone!
The Wrangler 392 is enough for me
The Raptor R is an amazing truck and the Bronco Raptor is probably the most capable off-road vehicle you can buy from the factory.
“The most capable off-road vehicle you can buy from the factory??” C’mon, mate. Apart from reliability - and they’re pretty reliable these days - a Jeep Rubicon is going to be more capable off-road than anything else from the factory because of a number of factors, but most of all its solid front and rear axles.
@@Queensizemusic Rubicon better for rock crawling, bronco better for baja
what kind of real world MPG do you guys get on the Raptor R on road and off road?
If you spent 120k on a pickup i would guess you aren't worried about mpg
Offroading $200k worth of vehicles is insane
Where is that trail? Where can I find it?
for all you crapping on the price, I am with you, BUT, consider the price of just about everything is solidly 60%-70% higher than it was in the early 2000s. my 2005 Monte Carlo SS, new, was $30,500. what would that be today? so, yes, these were $60k trucks around that time so that gels. problem is we're MAKING only about 20% more than we were back then. The only people buying trucks like this are people living high off their explosion of home equity they all cashed in.
Thanks for the video. I would like to see a drag race between the truck and the Bronco Raptor... in my opinion both are worth of their price, but I don't agree with the car manufacturers who are taking advantage of the customers, that's the reason why they are so expensive, and the taxes as well. I don't have any money, so it's not my problem, but if I had money I would buy both.
The F150 Raptor R would kill the Bronco Raptor. 3.0L TT vs 5.2L supercharged.
@@richfarfugnuven6308Yeah, a regular Raptor would run about the same as the BR.
17:57 the mirrors arent the issue. They're the same width on the lesser trims for each vehicle at the mirrors. Its those fenders.
Hey doe you TFL bring the best of the best off-roaders and test them on this trail? It’s just a dirt road!
Bang for the buck if I wanted a full tilt, boogie desert runner, I would build something from a classic or vintage rig; but if I just wanted a good modern all-terrain capable vehicle, I think I’d wait for the Bronco Sport RS to make an appearance.
Bronco sport? Gross lol
Will this truck still hold its value?
I’m still a little skeptical that for serious offroading having such a powerful engine is that important. My Bronco is 300hp and it can climb virtually anything.
Right hand drive (converted) Ford f150 raptor V6TT in Australia sell for $ 250,000 oz dollars
I guess we can agree”to wide”!😄😄😄😄
Beautiful truck. If your going to put that 700+ hp to use I like the width, paint brushing has never bothered me anyways.
I'm with you on owning the truck over the Bronco. You can simply do more with a truck.
More versatile, not as good for most off roading.
@@jeffk464agreed
@@jeffk464 That depends really on the terrain. 75% of the people in USA don't live near the desert.
I can tell you like your red vehicles.
I’m over the raptor and bronco
Has anyone with the raptor r had any issues with the Apple CarPlay disconnecting in certain areas?
Great Video, good job roman 👏🏻.
Thanks for the kind comment
I want to know if Roman prefers the Raptor R over the TRX. He really seemed to love the TRX.
That is not the subject of this video.
you must be a neurosurgeon. @@mikek5298
more like 190K! one is currently listed for that much.
I wish the Raptor and the super duties got better pro power. The 7.2 that’s in my Powerboost would make more sense to be in a more capable off road or towing truck. I’d like to up grade to either one but I like the features of my 21 F150 KR too much.
2.4 KW still useful for camping
@@ej2863 for sure but given that pro power was marketed as for the job site and camping, seems like they should find a way to put the 7.2 on the super duties and the off road vehicles. 7.2 Would be a lot more handy if your camping in the middle of nowhere or working with heavier equipment or roadside assistance.
@jacobherrmann7812 yes, but I think the 7.2 requires lithium batteries? Where the 2.4 kw uses inverter.
@ej2863 A youtuber opened up under the seat, a extra battery plus a bigger inverter than the regular 400 watt Ford one.
@@ej2863 either way I hope to see the 7.2kw show up in the Superduty soon🤷🏻♂️
You have try Ford F150 RAPTOR vs. Ford Ranger RAPTOR these are nor my kinda truck I be more interested in the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner extra cab if it dose offer 4wd option
people are nuts spending that much for a truck
Although for those that buy it for performance it's a value. It's faster than a lot of the performance SUVs by some of the super car manufacturers.
@@jmo0311who races trucks on the road??? Get a used Mustang or Vette if you want fast. Fast trucks are for rich kids to get killed in
@@fritty9927 people "race" sedans, coupes, trucks....shit they race everything. How are trucks somehow a rich kids toy?
@@jmo0311 well if a kid can afford a 110,000K truck someone has money: if not theirs then probably their parent. And yes people race everything (I used to a teenager also), but that doesn’t mean it makes sense.
@@fritty9927 well my point was that what you said could be for any vehicle. Fast and or expensive. But again this thing smokes cars twice it's price.
I know it’s not set up to tow, but it’s weird that my 2015 Expedition with the 3.5ecoboost tows 9200 and the raptor r only tows 8600
Suspension is the main reason. It’s not like it doesn’t have the power. Lol
For these trails, Bronco all the way. For high speed desert prerunning (Baja), then the F150 Raptor
How about ranger raptor vs that f150 raptor
12:37 - why don’t you show what OnX can do?
Honestly I held back until now, but Roman sucks literally everyone on his team is better than him. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
For offroad? Tommy's CJ5 🤣If I could have one of these, the Raptor R, of course
My house im living in cost 120k in 2015 💀
❤❤
Still trying to figure out where the average joe is getting the payola to finance one of these mortgages. I drive an old exotic offroad vehicle and I'd never dream of spending this kind of money - even MSRP - on a vehicle that will, eventually depreciate and depreciate hard.
Average Joe doing that probably either single or soon to be single and has a hole to burn/wreckless with money. From ford…Tremor is the sweet spot though still expensive for a lot. Noticed ford hardly gives good financing or lease deals unlike other brands.
@@CRABlife-iv6fv Lmao great business idea!
Uphill vehicles always have the right of way even on narrowed, paved streets. Unfortunately most drivers don't know or care.
I love this truck, but not 112k worth...
The regular Raptor is the twin turbo 3.5L, not the 3.0L turbo as Roman states...
Not in the bronco raptor it has the 3.0 liter eco boost
That’s to subtle 🤔😂
Bronco Raptor engine resembles a squirrels nest. I promise those engines wont last
So you spend that much money for a Raptor R and they still don't give you the heated steering wheel or anything like that? Come on, this is supposed to be a prestige vehicle. I also wonder, if the heated steering wheel goes out on your F-150, is that a $50 fix? Seems like the value of that missing element is awfully deflated here. I get that they're trying to stretch their chips to be able to meet demand, but if I spend over 100 grand on a truck, I shouldn't be losing options.
This thing comes with fox suspension right so, i think it can't load much either. So much for a TRUCK that loads lesser than the normal one
That's not its purpose. The Raptor is made to haul ass offroading...
@@richfarfugnuven6308 I wouldn't say that it's too bloody damn big for any real off-road trails, Bronco raptor is a better and cheaper option. And anyone who would want a truck for real truck things wouldn't buy it. Leaf springs are better for loading. If u want an off-roader get Bronco that thing really hauls ass on off-road
@@Kannappi-sz4fg you wouldn't drive a trophy truck if I gave you one? Can't tow a flea...
@@richfarfugnuven6308 Oh I get what u mean, You can load the thing on something and then tow it......cool, the brain !!!!
All that money and no locker or limited slip up front for a 100k+ off road truck??
The RaptoR is far and away a better vehicle than any Jeep or Bronco. Its more versatile and just as capable for 99% of users as any stock Jeep/Bronco.
I would say regular raptor is. This one eats up gas way too fast for it to be practical. 37s are just unnecessary though cool.
There is a push button on the truck bed lip for up/down, also on the keyfob (press 2x). You have to go into the infotainment screen to enable the feature.
"We know the oil needs to be changed" *cleared. I wonder how long that's been coming up. Lol oil changes are overrated anyway. Especially on high-performance engines. First oil change is due at 5k, only 300 over so far, who knows how far it is back to the office. Lmao Rev it more!
If you can afford it, BUY BOTH the Bronco Raptor AND F150 Raptor! The F150 truck can be your daily driver for work and city/suburban cargo-carrying/towing use and the Bronco can be your Weekend Warrior vehicle for fishing, hunting and back-country logging road exploration! Both vehicle has SOOOOOOO MUCH OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY, that either one is more than enough for 99% of people's daily vehicle needs!
The ONLY ISSUE that i see for BOTH of the vehicles is the LIMITED fuel capacity! For the F150 Raptor, I would put in a 50 Gallon (189 litres) in-bed auxillary fuel tank and for the Bronco, I would bolt on a rear swing-out cargo cage that can carry at least TWO 20 Gallon Jerry Cans of Fuel which will double your driving range!
Like I said, if I could afford it, I would buy BOTH vehicles!
V
109k and no heated steering wheel. Every automaker is really just screwing over people.
Great work Roman, I'm looking forward to your video comparison to the Ranger Raptor when you get that in your fleet😏
The trucks have a blower, air forced induction, you do not. Don't get hypoxic.
The Raptor R is nice but no waaaay worth $20k-$30k OVER MSRP! Ridiculous is anyone pays that for vehicle you don’t even get a loaner car when it’s time for service. Lol
Will you take the Ranger Raptor on this trail?
And the rich man might drive it once in a while on blacktop just so he can say he owns one?
Must be time to sell it soon…😂
Gotta love a 100k truck doesn’t have every option….. smh what is this world coming too. The discount ford is giving for the parts missing because of chip shortage is a joke. They should be giving you those discounts and then pay for them to be added once everything is available or they should be giving you a way bigger discount.
I can’t justify spending 100 grand on a truck
Who buys these things?
People with more money than brains.
@@albertatundraOn the contrary, people who have worked hard to become successful and can afford to enjoy cool stuff. Contrast that to yourself: A complainer who is jealous of the success of others, and instead of actually DOING something to improve your situation you call other people names and whine like a little bitch. Big tough guy you are.
Maybe if I was stupid rich I would buy one but... Yeah no lmao 🤣😂
It just me or your videos is getting kinda boring, same thing over over, when I read the caption first thing came on my mind is to see both vehicle doing some off Road, I guess not, just a lot a talking about the feature we all know about it from your past videos, hopefully you guys make some interesting off road comparison
Is this seriously a 110k pickup truck? You realize what you can buy with 110k right?
Why. Why on earth would you buy one...
Even if you could get a Raptor R without an absurd markup (the kind of shit I absolutely refuse to pay), for that price I'd rather get the 2024 Colorado ZR2 I'll be ordering, get one of those insane new Can-Am MAVERICK R X RS WITH SMART-SHOX, and STILL have money to buy a nice trailer for it. Cool truck and all, like the TRX, but I DEFINITELY believe in the law of diminishing returns, and would rather have the ZR2 AND the Can-Am than the Raptor R.
Rich man truck the average person's not going to be able to afford one and if you do you're going to be scared to four wheel it. Scared you good a simple scratch on it.
no…
Wrong engine. Those 700 hp are wasted... specially on narrow trails
This has too many electronics to be a off road vehicle. It's gimmicky.
Lets see it do river crossings.. 😁

A fool and his money is soon parted!
At least TRY to get the quote correct: “A fool and his money are soon parted”. Based on your knowledge of grammar and the ability to properly cite quotes, I am guessing that you must be one of the fools you attempted to shame.
But for some that buy this truck it's nothing to spend that kind of money. Some paying cash.
@@jmo0311 It's not the Uber wealthy driving prices up, pardon the pun, but the people paying idiot prices for trucks and playthings.
@@bawintermage8351 technically it is, if you count the owner at the dealership allowing mark ups.
Would love to see TFL and others take a stand and stop promoting these unobtainable cars. Wouldn't it be great if consumers and auto-journalists refuse to play this stupid designed scarcity game carmakers and dealers are playing?
For all of you that cant but a 100k plus truck you are poor
And your a Troll😢😢😢😢
I want you guys to test a 98-00 toyota rav4 awd and see how much better it does than all these new computer ran cars that freak out on anything more than a pebble.
What does "beadlock capable" mean? They either are or they aren't.
It means the wheel allows you to mount the tire traditionally (comes from the factory this way) or you can mount the tire as a beadlock. So with 'beadlock capable' wheels you have a choice.
Am i the only person that cant stand the 3 bell tone when starting the motor on a ford? I also find the sound of their turn signals to be insanely annoying
Cool truck but 140k is ridiculous, thanks idiot folks for starting the 10yr loans that drive these prices up.
