  • Morning coffee is a routine for everyone. However, timing is very important. Drinking coffee the first thing in the morning can change your circadian rhythm.

Actually according to ayurveda , the water should be only taken when you feel thirsty. It's fine in morning because body tends to dehydrate during sleep time, but if you don't feel thirsty and you take water it dilutes digestive juices and creates digestion problems.

    • @dr.shadmbbsdphmasco

@@ajayjzkwater will never dilute digestive juices even if it does also our body produces them so no worries.

@@ajayjzk that's the problem. A sitting job rarely makes one thirsty unless that person is exercising at the same time too.

My mother now 92 yrs, late father (88 yrs) and our entire south indian family particularly my generation are all early morning coffee drinkers. All are happy & continue to be happy in all ways. The small ups & downs of each day is with all of us. Too much of science (melatonin, seratonin, caffein, lipids, carbohydrates, omega fatty acids, essential amino acids, minerals. calories, etc.) in daily life is not required.

In the 1970's it was well known to start one's day with a cup of hot water and coffee was always a late morning/ lunchtime drink.
I grew up knowing this and practice it when I am not in a rush to get out the door.

Exactly, even if you have medicines to be taken on an empty stomach it's better to drink 360ml of water first and wait for around minimum 45mins to 1hour 15mins to let the water do the magic inside. Cause we have 5litres of blood and water takes 15mins for 1litre to Bring the toxins out from the body. Then we're good to go with the daily routine. This would do wonders (even I suggest everyone to walk for around 1hour 15mins continuously, not 30mins morning and 30mins evening to bring your glucose levels normal so that the liver wouldn't be confused as Dr. Pal said)
