No one explains things better than Corey, what a great treat to have all these new videos. 🧵✂️
Loved the video and the demonstrations, helps a lot. Plus I love Corey❤
Corey has such a wonderful camera presence. She is a very good teacher and delightful to watch.
How can you not love Corey. You are so delightful and very thorough explaining everything. Love your videos. Please keep them coming.
Great video! I too am a minimalist with gadgets, but what I have I use in abundance :)! Loved hearing the story of how you paid your girls to 'help' with cutting. That will stay a special memory for all times.
I just bought your sunny side up panel. I am going to make a sew demented bag just like yours. I really like it. Thanks for all of your inspiration.
Thanks Corey, that was interesting. I have one of those clover pendant thread cutters. I bought it to use on the planes but never thought about using it to snip chain piecing. Great idea.
What a fun video. Corey is so great to watch. I think I need to go buy the Clover pendant right now.😊
Love these videos with Corey Yoder!
Thank you for sharing your favorite notions!
I also love the clearly perfect angles since I don’t want to draw all those lines. Great list of essential gadgets.
Corey Yoder, you are a delight!!
Love your videos 😍
Hi Corey, I have been travelling a lot for work lately. I bought one of these Clover silver snippers to take with me on the plane to cut my thread as I was doing a lot of handpiecing. I would cut the fabric pieces at home during the weekend...
Nice video ..looking forward to more videos
Must look into getting the machine templet! Thank you for all the useful information.
I have the clearly perfect angles & it's great!
Thanks Corey, very informative as always 😊
I have a Bernina and the Clearly Perfect Angle works great on mine!
Another wonderful video from Corey! I always enjoy when a quilter shows her favorite notions and this video did not disappoint! Thanks Corey and FQS!
I wish someone would design a multi compartmental notions bag like that in vinyl. My favorite notions bag and 70% cheaper are clear vinyl makeup bags. I choose ones with banana shaped bottoms to that my bags stands upright, I can easily visualize my notions and easily replace items or substitute thread colors, and I choose a vinyl that is a hardier gauge (strength) with also a quality zipper. I just bought three of them (I have bags dedicated to each type of artistry - for example one for hand embroidery , one for hand sewn binding, several that I leave at guild sites or sewing groups locations). Anyway I just bought three quality ones for 12$. I check the FQS everyday for their flash sales and monthly deals to keep my vinyl bags stocked. I never shy away from buying three, four, or five quality notions of the same kind on sale because I know that I can make up a new bag for projects and I often give a new one stocked with quality notions to new quilters who don’t necessarily know what they need or young moms who cannot afford supplies. So vinyl bags are the way! Loving it here in Alaska!
My Clearly Perfect Angles (the Eleanor Burns version) came with double sided tape. It’s kind of thick plastic and is repositionable. I have to move it to get to my bobbin case. But I love it too. Def speeds up1/2square triangles!
Thank you! I think I will invest in the Lori Holt Seam Sew Easy. ;0)
Thank you so much!...
Thanks Corey what about hand quilting needles? When I first started years ago, I was taught to use betweens in a size 10 or 11. Now that the big stitch quilting is popular what kind & size is your favorite? Thanks again for your videos at FQS!
Thank you!
When I was taught to sew some 50 years ago, they showed us that if you slow the sewing machine down, you can sew right over a pin and the machine will not break the needle.
I have the Clover thread snipper in a 3x3 piece of painted wood and it sits on my table so I will always know where it is...
Is for the bag maker's tote, I have sugarcree wovens the skare is3-3
The bag could be used for makeup and crochet.
Just curious about why there are so many colored threads? On the 5O Wt do you change colors alit to piece?
Kathy Morris Those are her 12 weight for hand quilting. She uses 50 weight her piecing.
Yes just wondering on the piecing if she uses all those different colors that match the fabric
I love your bag, but wish they came already made. I just don't have the time to make those cute things.
