I have this ruler. I love it. I use it all the time to cut my strips and squares and 10" squares when I have bought from the bolt. It has given me a new confidence that I didn't have before with cutting out.

Great information. But how do you know that your strips are straight when you stack them? If they are just hair bit off your squares will not be even. What do you all do to prevent that?
Hello Mary! Corey Yoder has done this cutting technique for a while and she probably has had a bit of practice at telling whether the strips are completely straight. It may not be for everyone. We would recommend you first trying this technique with just one or two strips at a time to see if this is a cutting technique you feel comfortable with!
Corey, can you or Kimberly explain to me why I can have this marvellous ruler because you have to ship it to Canada?? Usually when I bought at Fat Quarter Shop, you charge me for shipping fees for "international shipping" and why not for the ruler???

I have 3 of these rulers and they are great. I'm surprised Corey doesn't use it for strips....more accurate and faster than traditional rulers.

Line the top of each strip with a line on your cutting board, then they will all be parallel.
