Hey All! thanks for the love on the video, I did not expect that at all ! As much as I appreciate all the comments, tips and tricks, please note most of this footage is from weeks ago, so most of your advice are often just a little too late. I am a quick learner so any mistakes you might see along the way are usually remedied by the time I've uploaded the video, and often don't need a comment, although they are never not appreciated. Once again thanks so much and I hope you enjoy the rest of this series xx
Don't drive at Dusk, lots of Roo's, Emu's and Camels. Velcro strips and hang some curtains (cheap material) around your windows, side and back windows Take your time and enjoy, Hat and Sunscreen. Safe Travels !
Someone at TH-cam must be a fan. Two videos in and you've got huge numbers! I like that you show your genuine self and not some character. Keep them coming.
Take plenty of drinkable water with you at all times. Litres and litres of water, especially now it's summer and there's very hot weather on the way. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Other than that, have fun!
Keep anything of value well hidden, especially if you’re away from the car for hours, some low life’s will smash your window to steal your stuff for quick money. A sliding cargo blind in the back would hide your bed and a place to keep things from prying eyes, also shaded area to help keep your car fridge from working hard and keeping things cooler. A small solar panel and battery banks to keep things charging is essential, especially if you’re crossing the Nullarbor and anything goes wrong, phone reception is non existent in some areas, friends of mine invested in a satellite phone to ensure they were never in danger, good luck and enjoy the experience 😃
Hey (Didn't catch your name), Good luck on your cool road trip, road trips are the best. Drive safely anytime you get tired pull over and have a rest. I subbed, looking forward to more vids 🚗🚗🚗
Get advice from other travellers you meet, network where possible, safe places to stay etc. Have a back up key zip tied under your car, lost a few keys in my travels. Most major towns have tourist info centres, they are helpful. Good luck ,safe travels.
I am sure I don't need to say this as lots of people have already commented, however, as someone myself who has done multiple trips around Aus, be safe, have fun, listen to your body when its telling you to rest, take lots of photos (I often forget do to living in trhe moment), and contact friends and family when you feel you are struggling in general (mental health can be important when your by yourself). look after yourself first and foremost.
Tint the windows if you going sleep in car, don't leave it idle y you sleep, and if you want cheap caravan park in Broome, is Broome caravan park first on your left as you go into town and go to king's store in Perth for a roof top tent and portable shower, once you leave Perth expect $2,30 a lite of diesal North ov WA or NT as truck driver for over 30 years you can learn all stay safe 👍
Hahahaha you actually stopped for carrot flowers? Also I hope you put diesel in the 3000 prads, petrol might make it go kerbang before you get to mumbannar, by the sounds of it you've made it to the YP already, so it probably isn't! Call in to streaky bay for an overnighter rather than Ceduna, Yalata has a good price on the fuel robot usually. Don't stop at Madura if you don't like bad vibes, Mundrabilla is usually good, Eucla is also okay for fuel price. Keep smiling! Oh also have 5 lt's at least of diesel spare to chuck in, especially over the west, you can go for 300k's without having a fuel stop.
Goodluck and enjoy! I do worry about your posture sleeping in that position and editing in the car, make sure you do some light stretches in the morning and at night to keep the muscles, nerves and joints flexed and relaxed.
@@EmpireMentality Ah I see. The yellow car thing for me was basically if someone saw a yellow car you got to punch someone in the arm. So I copped that lmao.

fast car is a very fitting song as the first song of the trip!, good luck from england!
Pretty glad this got recommended to me. Makes me want to do the same thing!
Do the right thing by yourself and the other people on the road by not filming while you're driving. Please.

Very nice
I used to live in Doncaster. Now I'm in Brisbane.
Here we go. Let's visit Australia
Forgive my ignorance, a viewer from the U.S.. What is 9 Spotto? What does that mean? I've never heard that term in my entire life.
Mate I'm from QLD Australia myself and I ain't got a bloody clue what that means. I googled it and it might mean a Spotting Sheet for road trips.
You say spotto when you see a yellow car, it's like punch buggy
You say 'spotto' when you see a yellow car on the road. 9 spotto means shes seen 9 yellow cars. Its just a game you play when driving.
@@EmpireMentality Ah I see. The yellow car thing for me was basically if someone saw a yellow car you got to punch someone in the arm. So I copped that lmao.
Ok, thanks everybody!!
Hope you are a fast learner because you come across unprepared, very entertaining none the less, good luck and be safe
