    I had the privilege of installing an XTR group set on a client’s bike. The cassette is just a magnificent piece of work. Love the 3 metals combination.

    I just bought Roscoe 9 like three weeks ago and I love it. I'll be coming back to your channel when I feel like upgrading something. Btw, I wonder, how tall are you (in cm) and what size is your Roscoe?

      I’m 175 cm and my Roscoe is a medium large me personally, I wish I would’ve went with the large

      @@hardtailrider7172 thanks for the reply. I'm 181cm and I went with the large. Feels just about perfect. But whatever the size, I would adapt I guess.

    Bro I love your updates I wishI had more $$ to Upgrade my 2023 R8......ohh and doesn't the Multi tool now add more weight to the bike lol...U shoulda just have bought the R9 Frame and bought all the parts and built your bike up ...now that woulda been great!

      Well, economical wise it would’ve been cheaper for me just to buy the frame and all the components but I am a contact creator The majority people are just going to buy a Roscoes and ride it. I try to show them little by little how to upgrade it that brings more views than me just building a expensive Roscoe, which a lot of people can’t do. And I appreciate you taking the time out to watch my videos.

    I’m new, watching videos to learn n buy my first bike. Newbie question, is it worth buying a brand new Trek Roscoe or buying an older Roscoe 7-8 model and upgrading it? Thoughts ?

      I would definitely buy a new Rosco if you can afford it.the 2022 Roscoe frames are different than the 2021 and under

    ohhh maybe next time u should try an thirteen race helix cassete, cost $350 cad and weighs like 347g (9-50t)

    • @hardtailrider7172
      @hardtailrider7172  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I looked into them. I think their cassettes look awesome, but they don’t make it in micro spline or have hyper glide.

      I have an e13 helix, I changed front chainring and chain to SRAM to be compatible, and even swapped DT 350 hub to XD from MS.
      Was not worth all the work to push e13. The shifts crunch in through the gears, and the 2-piece cassette creaks at the interface, even with grease.
      Next year will be giving Garbaruk a try, for $40 less and even shave off 40 grams.
