Best video ever on how to get around different objects and things to encounter while you're doing your project
When he suggested putting the whole sheet up, and you said let’s not, his reply is a whole vibe.
@bryanflake1196 I agree and he seems to have an overall great vibe about him.
I absolutely love that wallpaper!
I love watching you figure it out.
Haha thank you! Hopefully I’ll be a pro for future wallpaper projects
OMG it's gorgeous!! I think it's worth the headache! I love it so much
Good Job
Bravo!
Didn't think I wanted to use wallpaper in RRV until I seen your video thank you
LOVE the wallpaper!! Great job! Binge watching all camper wallpaper videos, I want to do this in our camper!
Thanks so much! I know some people hate peel and stick wallpaper but in my experience, it's so worth it! And ours has held up really well.
@@WorkinfortheWild You're welcome!! That's great, and good to know!!
Nice work good job looks great
Thanks so much!
I watched another RV renovation video and they said spray windex on before applying the wallpaper and it gives you some wiggle room to slip around until the windex dries.
I just started remodeling my toyhauler. One think I’m doing is removing absolutely everything off my walls, switches, receptacles, mirrors, trim. I think I will make a wall paper installation go smother.. but idk wish me luck 🍀
How did you prep the walls first?
Use a hairdryer to re peel and re stick for bubbles
What color is that green paint? Gorgeous with that wallpaper!!! 😍
Thank you! It's Shade-Grown by Sherwin Williams! :)
How did you trim off the excess on the edges?
Mine came off during winter temp change.. almost same pattern
Oh no! We got really lucky with how well ours has held up
How did you keep it from shrinking? Mine shrank really bad. But I didnt sand the wall first
Oh no! I haven't experienced anything like that. Are you wallpapering an RV or just normal room in a house? Change in temperature affected our wallpaper quite a bit. The cold winter in Denver caused a couple spots to peel but I used a wall adhesive spray to fix it and haven't had any issues since.
Did u prepare the walls before wallpaper installation?
Good question! I did the same thing that I did to all the walls before painting. Washed them with vinegar & water, sanded them with a fine grit sandpaper, then washed them again.
What color green is that for the cabinets??
Sherwin Williams: Shadegrown :)
grind
I tried this, during winter the moisture made all of it bubble and peel. How's yours?
Ours has held up so well! We installed it in fall, and noticed a corner or two peeled a bit during the winter but after applying some extra adhesive, we haven't had any issues.
Do you live in a climate with temperature extremes? Also, do you live in your RV full time? I ask because most peel and stick products come peeling down in climate extremes, high humidity or cold damp climates when an RV is stored much.
Yes, this was in Colorado so it got quite cold over the winter but the wallpaper held up well!
How is the wallpaper holding up?:)
Excellent! I'm super impressed by it so far
Did it last? I’m nervous to make the commitment.
Yes! We got so lucky and had almost no issues. One corner peeled a tiny bit over the first winter but it was an easy fix with some adhesive
@@WorkinfortheWild ok! We are about to start full timing in a bread new 395ms but I’m doing work on it because it will be out home and I want it to be unique to me so I think I’ll try it. Maybe even an actual glue adhesive. We will see!
Mine lasted for about 3 months then it shrank :(
Oh no! Ours has held up great for more than a year and in many different climates
It takes awhile to master the art of wallpapering. Unfortunately peel and stick is a scam. They advertise it as DIY however even pro installers have a hard time with it due to the limited adjustments. The company I work for stopped installing peel and stick because it’s more of a liability. You are better off with regular wallpaper, vinyl with non woven backing preferably due to durability.
Interesting! Ours has held up incredibly well, surprisingly. But I’ve heard nightmare stories from others!
@@WorkinfortheWild the issues you ran into is because it’s peel and stick. Using wallpaper paste doest stick until it’s dry so you can make your adjustments easily. The goal is to get one panel without a sideway seam. Just an advice in case you decide to do future wallpaper projects. And always buy 15-20% more than what the wallpaper covers.

How did you prep the walls first?
Hey! I washed them with water and vinegar and lightly sanded with a fine grit sandpaper.
