I totally agree! We were just talking about that last week. They are such small spaces, you think they would want them to be light and airy. I imagine that get dirtier looking quicker, but we don't mind. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. It means so much to us!

Personally, I’m eying some alternatives: several months in Egypt or a Turkey might come next if our May flight to Cebu is cancelled.

Love this so much! Not only are your videos helpful; but you guys are enjoyable to watch! We painted the kitchen area of our RV and I hated it 😑. So Much Work lol. We never did the bathroom or bedroom lol (didn’t help that we were living in it while doing it lol)

Nice job on the RV. My favorite part was Jude's brushing of his brother's teeth. I'm pretty sure none of my brothers ever did that for me. Also, Chris, my wife thinks she can do everything better and faster than me too. In the interest of martial bliss, I just keep on leting her fool herself.

What did you do about the little vinyl edging that was between the cabinet faces and the ceiling or wall?lDid you paint the vinyl white or leave it brown?
Hello 👋 we primed everything twice and painted twice. It was a challenge, but the results were worth it!
Did you have any surfaces on your cabinets that were curved and where the manufacturers had used a paper type of veneer that doesn't seem sandable to me? If so, how did you prep that and what type of primer did you use? Thanks!
Hi, good question. I did not see any paper type of veneer on our cabinets. Is it something you can remove? We used zinnser 1,2,3 to prime the cabinets and that worked fairly well.

We did use primer - we used Zinsser 123 primer. Thank you so much! It’s held up really well!

How does the painted laminate cabinets hold up over time? I’ve heard concerns on durability of paint over the fake wood laminate….
We haven’t touched it up in the almost 3 years since we have been on the road, living in it full-time! We do have a few spots on the bottom cabinets that have been a little scuffed on traveling days, but it’s so minor most people wouldn’t notice- just me and my OCD 😂

How do you paint those indents it seems like the paint doesn't go in Far Enough and I always have a little pockets of holes. I was trying not to have to do any caulking
Hi Kimberly! Thanks so much for reaching out! We actually use a lot of caulking to avoid those tiny little pockets. It probably wouldn’t have looked horrible without it but we get kind of obsessive lol are you renovating an RV yourself?

It's already so extra trying to do this reno on my own so yes. Is it easy enough to tell me when you do the caulking? I believe I would do two coats of the primer then the caulking and then the two or three coats of the paint? Also what do you use that might make it easier how do you do it? Tia for your help
I love that you’re doing it by yourself! I wouldn’t worry too much about doing a ton of layers as long as you get really good paint and if you get paint with primer already in it that saves a ton of work! you could do the caulking either after one coat or even first if you’re confident you know what you’re looking for and then use the paint with the primer already mixed in and you would be done. So much easier! We’ve renovated a lot of things and that has saved us the most time and headache!

I believe it is water-based. We used BEHR Marquee.
When Chris opened that cabinet the inside wasn't painted 🤦♀️ I sure hope that it was a mistake.
