- Today I wanted to add some shiplap to my 1979 camper! I found this easy peel and stick shiplap wallpaper from Target. I'm going to show you how to install it as well as give you a review!

If you have a problem with it sticking or air bubbles just heat it with a blow dryer and use a squeegee to smooth it out. It will stick for good then.

3 yrs ago I saw your video and had to do this! Turned out great but the first season taking our camper out the paper started falling off! From the fluctuation in heat it’s soo bad. We have used 3 different glues to keep it on and none of them work. Any tips? Did your stay on??

What did you do with trim pieces? Cut along them, over wall paper over them? I’m renovating our RV atm so been watching all kinds of peel and stick wallpaper videos.

Girl you can paint a white wall to look like shiplap just use a sharpie to draw the lines, and they have paint rollers that look like wood a lot easier process
Where did you get the wood panels for the repair work
I was always told flip end for end to match wall paper as it comes off the roll.
My peel and stick is peeling up on edges, what are you using to stop that?
Is it still holding up? I just did two walls in our and it came unpeeled.

How much wallpaper did you use for the first wall
If you are in a really hot area it may bubble and unstick. Use adhesive spray also even though it sticks.
Start from the bottom up to get the lines straight?
Would humidity cause the paper to come down?

How many rolls did you have to get to complete your walls? Love this!
3 rolls! I recommend using an online sq ft calculator! That's what I did and it was perfect, I had a little left over!

Where did you order the wallpaper?
The problem with most peel and stick wallpaper (as I found out in my RV 1/2 bathroom) is that after a number of months, it shrinks. I've heard the same thing from a number of other RVers who have put up peel and stick. I ended up having to remove all of it because of the shrinkage.
I've used peel & stick wallpaper 3 other times and never had that issue, maybe it's the brand

I have a few questions. I love love love what you are doing and really want to do it myself so i was wondering how did you find a camper so cheap because even super tiny ones i have found are 2 grand or more. also what size is your camper and how much is all of this costing you. i dont think it looks that expensive, but i would still love to know how much youve spent so far and how much you think you would have spent if you didnt find those extra things in your house
I'm not sure how much we spent so far, less than $500 I'd say. We have been searching for campers for sooo long and we knew we didn't want to spend over $1000. We looked on craigslist, facebook market place & letgo but we ended up finding this one on the side of the road!

I used all 3! I have a little leftover. I used a square foot calculator online and it helped me get the correct amount!

If you don't back that shiplap with contact cement it will peel after awhile
solution for that would've been using a level

Did the shiplap peel and stick wallpaper stay on? I have heard that peel and stick will eventually peel off due to temperature changes.

@@self-improvementsquirrel3653 All mine fell off in my RV bedroom even after cleaning the walls and using gorilla glue spray for extra tac. Not sure how people get this to stay for a long time.

Also there are much better and faster ways to prep walls without tedious sanding ( a method I never use)

You’ll save money in the long run as it’s not easy to install
