    Honestly, I was impressed with all of them. Of course depending on the situation, one would be more appropriate than another. But, if someone has an ugly wall and no money, the Dollar Tree tiles would be a huge improvement! It's a super cheap way to cover sins, add texture and give a clean look.

    I bought my white subway tile from Rona. Expensive brand name. Package of 4 (12x12) for over $40.00. Put some tiles on months ago and noticed them peeling away and every so often I have to push the lifting. I applied the balance of the wall last week. For the older parts lifting, I added some glue to areas to stop the titles that lifting. Glad I won't be here in 10 years if pick and stick tiles need replacing. But they are beautiful over my counter and behind the stove looks great. Totally added beauty to my home.

Others I've used, not so much. I enjoy watching your videos ;) planning to paint my camper kitchen cabinets and got a question.. was your kitchen (in the latest camper u renovated) part wood and part vinyl covered? And you sanded it and used the behr WATER BASED primer and it worked really great???
    Just worried about the vinyl part..

    You need to put some silicon or some e6000 on each corner before install. Hey it's dollarama & quite inexpensive, so it's worth it just for a little extra manual coverage on all corners!

    I love our Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles here in the usa. I just use Gorilla Spray Adhesive to get them to stick better and man!! Do they last!!!

      This is what I have been pondering. Why can’t I use my own adhesive to attach the cheaper tiles? How has it held up?

    My biggest worry would be how easy they are to remove and what does the wall look like after? I don’t want to have a damaged wall that’s going to be a pain to renovate to give back to the landlord.

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends on your wall and the type of tiles. Definitely do a test patch.

    Can you peel and stick over existing tile?

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can if it's relatively clean and smooth. For more info about peel and stick, check out this post:thediymommy.com/how-to-install-peel-and-stick-tile-backsplash/
