Hi Sharraw!
Great job! Yes! I have done wallpaper before ...paper with glue...alone! In the 80s....never did again!! What hard work!

It's so beautiful...the print certainly suits the stone cottage...ohhh contact and I work hard in hand....its easy but peeling a bit off a time is tge perfect way too go, thank you ❤
Love this. Do your walls have any sort of texture on them? Or were they completely I textured? I have heard that peel and stick does not do well on textured walls and peels off so I am hesitant on trying. I have some texture on my walls:/
Yes, I have applied wallpaper and the peel and stick. I prefer the peel and stick. Like you said its easy.
Omg Sharrah right on time we just moved to a condo. This is so helpful.BTW you look rested and amazing ,thanks for all your ideas and help
Hi the wallpaper lookvery nice.
Looks great! You did a wonderful job! 😍😍😍 I have never wallpapered and hope by all that is good and just that I never will! I think wallpapering is better left to those who enjoying going up and down stepladders without someone to hold onto! I’m of the mindset where painting and wallpapering is better left to the professionals! Some of us have to keep that workforce busy! 😉☺️😊
Awsesome looking to do my downstairs toilet. Woohoo
Yes I have installed pre pasted Wallpaper in the 80’s. Haven’t tried the peel and stick yet, but I plan to.
I've done a peel and stick tile backsplash in my kitchen. I recently decided to change it up, so I've just had my first experience with removing it. Not so easy. It's slightly easier if you apply heat to melt the adhesive, but I still ended up taking off a layer of drywall in a section. I'd like to try the peel and stick wallpaper.
It’s taken me quite a long while to patch and prime the backsplash in my kitchen where removing it tore off the paper on the drywall because of a dollar store tile the previous resident used. Hopefully, this type is better quality and won’t ruin the walls.
I rent a put peal and stick in my apartment!! Years ago I ysed to starch fabric on my walls!! I can't wait to see your cottage complete!!!
Yes. My mom and I have done several rooms with paste wallpaper
Just wallpapered my bathroom until 4am!!!
I wallpapered our dining room back in 1997. I chose a large toile print in black on white (it eventually became a popular Waverly print.) The store that I bought it from asked if I had ever wallpapered before. I said, "No, but it can't be too much harder than sewing a large plaid wool coat and I've did that in 4-H." The store owner looked at me skeptically and I believe she ordered an extra roll. I finished papering the dining room and had a lot left over. So I papered the kitchen soffit and backsplash plus the full walls behind the fridge, doorway, etc. I still had a half of a roll left over. It was pre-pasted but I still did the wallpaper primer on the drywall. I finally removed it in 2015 and after 18 years, it was still stuck tight. REAL TIGHT! I had to rent a wallpaper steamer to remove it. I would love to wallpaper something in my new home that I bought this year, I'm thinking the guest bathroom would be pretty with a fern leaf print like yours.
This is amazing! I would have definitely given up 😅
I’ve never done wall paper, we are currently renting and I am re-decorating my daughters room and I am so tempted to add wall paper to her room. This would be a nice surprise for my soon to be 13 year old 🥰🥰🥰
Another tip-- I did peel and stick in my powder room that had wainscoting and then wallpaper that had been up since 1999. It was in really good shape so I just put the peel and stick over it and it came out great. I ended up running out of wallpaper so the wall above the pedestal sink I just painted over the wallpaper and it became an accent wall. Love it!
I havent tried yet but we have several rooms I want to add wallpaper to!
I have never applied wallpaper before. I am interested in trying the peel and stick.
Love this! ❤just my style and soooo well-done!
Beautiful🤩i would love to stay there and meet you some day ✅
Beautiful peel stick pattern. I am a peel and stick junkie. I peeled and sticked my walls, floors, kitchen cabinets, kitchen island and front door.😅😅😅
I've done both, the peel and stick as well as the traditional. They both have their advantages. The traditional wallpaper is easy to slide around the wall once applied so it is easier adjusted if need be. The peel and stick, not so much.
This is true, I want to try the traditional one next to see if the mess of the glue is really as big of a pain as it seems
I don't mind the traditional wallpaper. It has come a long way. I've never had issues with the glue on the traditional. I just make sure I buy the pre-pasted and not glue you need to add on! I just really like the fact that the peel and stick is much easier to remove if need be. As you mentioned wallpaper is terndy@@sharrah.stevens
❤
Looks amazing!!! Curious what LVP color/brand you used in the cottage.
Amazing video, the room looks amazing. Im about to start a wallpaper project in the bathroom and I was looking for a ladder just like yours, can you share where did you get it from? thank you
I remember as a child, watching my father remove kitchen wallpaper that was glued on, took him a long time to do it. It was quite difficult, and he never could remove all the glue made it difficult to apply new wallpaper. I think the peel and stick is it easier cleaner solution for anyone
Beautiful job, I vowed I’d never have wallpaper again, so hart told get off, but this is nice …
Yes, pre-pasted wallpaper, in 1970's and 80's
Wow! That looks awesome! Can you use peel and stick wallpaper on a textured wall?
I have hung lots of regular wallpaper in the last 35 years and taken down a lot as well. I like regular wall paper because you can move it around on the wall before trimming. I hate taking it down though, especially the strippable kind where the backing stays on the wall and has be removed separately from the top layer. The self stick looks harder to put up to me.
👏🏼❤👏🏼
I think it looks great. But I do think it is very expensive wallpaper for not such a huge room. Hanging tip, if your walls/ ceilings are not straight and most are not, hang your first panel in the middle of your wall using a level to make sure it is straight. Then all the other panels will be straight too.
Nice wallpaper choice, I did wallpaper before, wish it was the type you are using because I am wondering how to remove it.
I prefer wall coverings without any vinyl or PVC, no dioxin off gassing or giving off of endocrine disrupters or other VOCs. Some peel & stick coverings are lead free, but not all; you must check.
❤❤❤❤
Sharrah can you link those kitchen Roman shades in the kitchen please❤ thank you in advance
Thank you for sharing! After having to remove wallpaper from homes that I bought in the past, I said no more wallpaper! But then I decided to try peel and stick in my camper. It really transformed the look! It was a little tricky, but I got the job done. I haven’t tried to remove it, so I can’t say if that is going to be easy. I’m a little worried that it could mess up the wall, but I think your supposed to wet it before removing? Do you have an answer for that? Love the look of your room! Great job!
We just used peel and stick wallpaper as an accent wall in our closet and we love the look, but lining it up was such a giant pain.
I've tried all the ways...pre-pasted, not pasted, peel and stick and I find pre-pasted the easiest to work with. Much easier to move around and sticks way better than peel and stick. I had to actually buy paste to put under the peel and stick at the top cause it kept falling down. You need a perfectly smooth wall for peel and stick.
Hi hope you n your family doing good I have a question that I want to do wallpaper in my laundry room but I have textured wall. Will the peel n stick work on tht?
Hi. How did you ensure that after the first panel that the tops were completely straight for the following panels. Thanks
I’ve put up wallpaper many many times but only paste. I’m too old to wallpaper any more therefore I’ve never used peel and stick. ❤
Done both nothing but peel and stick now
I have done peel and stick wallpaper just once. I like the idea of it but it was a bit more challenging than I thought. YES my arms were tired. I am not being picky here but just looking for some advice....I noticed that in the corner where two walls meet it looked like the wallpapers didn't quite meet together. what did you do about that. I had that happen and just painted the blank space with paint that matched the background color. Not ideal but the best I could come up with.
Does wallpaper look odd on orange peel textured walls? You do such pretty work and you’re videos are fun to watch!
I have personally wallpapered textured orange peel walls and didn't think it looked any different from non textured walls.
Do I need to flatten my walls before putting the paper on? I want to try it, but am worried I will need to sand down the texture on the walls first.
Peel & stick about 3 yrs ago
I've wanted to use the peel and stick wallpaper for an accent wall, but it probably want work on textured walls 🤦🏾♂️😢
That room is looking so complete now. I have removed many, many layers of old wallpaper and put some paste paper up. I really didn't mind applying it. I've never used the peal and stick but my daughter is about to use it in a small area so I shared this video with her. It will be so helpful. Thanks for teaching us how it's done.
A lot of elbow grease lol
I don't know who needs to hear this but stop saving all your money. Invest some of it if you want financial freedom.
I agree with you and believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don't know who agrees with me but either way recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
Yeah!! It would be more beneficial and yield more profit if you actually trade on cryptocurrency I've been trading since the dip, I've made so much profit trading.
Crypto is bringing a different revolution in the world economy. People who are optimistic investors earn consistently.... Others will just sit and watch!.
My life is totally changed because I've been earning $15,250 returns from my $4,000 investment with Erin Geraci
Same here, i will praise Erin Geraci over and over again because she has great skills, i started with $2000 and after 2week i received a returns of $6,000 then i continue with her ever since she has been delivering.
She didn’t even level the first panel!
I love the design, but as a Dane the chairs are a huge eyesore! It’s a copy/replica of Arne Jacobsen’s Y chair and we don’t like fakes. It’s probably only legal because it’s metal not wood. In Denmark we care very much of the designer therefore I think it an eyesore to have furniture look a likes instead of the real thing. Rather pick something else.
So pretty
❤
