- About 10 years ago I uploaded a 3d animation depicting the intro to U2’s Zoo TV shows back in 1993.
It was fairly simple and seemed to get quite a bit of positive feedback.
I have now uploaded a far better version of this with the following amendments, this is a ‘first draft’ only, I will upload a definitive version shortly.
• Improved materials and lighting.
• Much more accurate ‘ZOO TV’ sign
• Stage now casts shadows with some ambient occlusion
• Rendered in 1920 x 1080 High Definition (original was in standard def 720 x 565)
• Three East German Trabants now hang in the background!
• Stage far more detailed with extra gantries, mounts lights etc.
• Far more intricate composting techniques used.
