- To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the greatest album ever "Achtung Baby" I have created a companion piece to my (Zooropa) Zoo TV Animation. I always loved the intro to the later Zooropa shows but the original Outside Broadcast shows had an awesome into of its own, with the George Bush Rap "We Will Rock You" by Queen.
The footage on the screens was created by EBN - The Emergency Broadcast Network, which I edited in some effects from the U2 special "Zoo TV by U2" that aired in 1992 by Phillips DCC.
I hope all my fellow U2 fans enjoy it!

I was lucky enough to see Zoo TV in 1993 and I have, ever since that day, wanted to replicate that experience, so I wholeheartedly agree with you!

@@mysticedge4 because they have developed a certain gift to do so. See their version of 'Dirty Day' from their last tour. Awful.
They lost their greatness a long time ago, and I'm sure their attempt to make ZooTV 'current' would be about as cool as U2 are today, which is perhaps the epitome of 'uncool'.
The kaleidoscopic world of ZooTV would surely be misused to convey 'current' and woke soap-box messages, instead of the more subtle ways of ZooTV.
ZooTV, and U2 in the nineties in general, was some of the best stuff in rock history and should be left to be just that - history.
I'd much rather prefer them to make good, dark music again, instead of the boring tripe I've sadly become used to when they release an album.
Mate can I tell you something there is some really clever,brilliant,artistic human beings on this planet...and you my friend are at the front of the pack ...goosebump material..superlatives by the bucket load from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
