- Magnús Scheving is the creator and star of LazyTown (the character Sportacus), an entertainment brand dedicated to motivating children and their families to make healthy choices. The TV series has been broadcast in more than 170 countries and won numerous awards, including a BAFTA and the renowned US Telly Awards, as well as receiving two Emmy nominations, among other accolades. Since the global success of the LazyTown brand and its subsequent acquisition by Turner Enterprise (where he was named CEO), Magnús has been drafted in by world leaders such as Michelle Obama, David Cameron, Chile’s First Lady Cecilia Morel and former Mexican President Felipe Calderón to collaborate on campaigns tackling child obesity. He has furthermore been enlisted by organisations such as the European Commission and the United Nations to promote health and active lifestyles in general.

ugh, even as a kid I couldn't do as much as other kids my age. Couldn't balance as well, couldn't run as fast, couldn't jump as high, etc...I just never felt in shape...or capable. Scheving is very cool for finding what he wanted to do, and going for it.

He makes a better actor/athlete than a motivational speaker. Like what he's saying is pretty good, but it kind of comes across as rambling. Then again, I don't usually listen to motivational speakers - so maybe that's how they all are.
I think its his accent, I usually watch long vids sped up but his accent is hard to understand so I had to keep it at normal speed

My son is constantly moving and I can’t keep up and he’s highly destructive. I’m having energy issues to keep up and having problems keeping my place clean. He starts school next school year and I’m worried about him having problems in school. Any advice? He is asking for a Sportacus costume which is adorable though!
find him a sport that he enjoys and get him to spend that energy on that sport, mindfulness is another great thing to help kids focus on their education, please only consider medication as a last resort, doctors are prescribing these medications like candy to children when not enough is known about their long term effects
