My husband and I were here! We saw Bono and the group coming out of the Concourse Hotel where they were staying. They had 2 white limos waiting for them. Bono gave us the peace sign. It wasn't a huge group standing outside the hotel but enough of us. 40 people? We saw them right up close. We were actually walking to the Capitol and saw those limos. We knew it had to be them so we waited. It was really cool. What an experience and what a great concert!
I didn’t see U2 live til at the Sphere in 2023 and 2024. Now I can take in this video in all its glory as well as deep envy of those in attendance in Madison. How lucky were they?! (PS I am of the same generation as U2 band members, for reference).

First I deinterlace the video from the best source available then upscale using video enhance AI. Sometimes I use neat video which is a good de-noiser if the video is very bad quality. Usually trying different models first (comparing) as each video is different.

I remember when this first came out. I waited in the aisles at Walmart for them to put them on the shelves. I ran home and put it in. OMG. HATED it. Felt so so SO cheated. What is this noise??? But at least there was Mysterious Ways, which was more approachable and hit-worthy. But this trend continued into Zooropa, which was such a deviation from Achtung Baby, which was such a deviation from Rattle and Hum, which was such a deviation from Joshua Tree and so on that I felt I finally lost the U2 I loved forever. Well, I learned to like it. But not love it. But now.... OMG!!! Are these songs not Masterpieces??? For real. I mean These two here plus Zooropa the song! All songs I hated them now see as works of art... Freaking FIRE, so ahead of its time in so many ways.
I admit i like this track. One story about the Dub fab four has them coming into Berlin, autumn 1990, Wall had come down. They joined a march, all banners, firewirks, gaiety and all of that. It was a pro-Fascist rally they'd joined in mistake.
It was my first U2 concert. I drove up Madison from Winnipeg Canada for it. Unforgettable! Thank you for posting this!!

I was there that night in Madison Wisconsin in 92. First time I saw them live. I will never forget that concert. Outstanding live band!
