My compliments for your attention to detail. From the things you’ve revealed about your trailer it’s really disappointing that Airstream doesn’t apply that process to their business. At Airstreams price point they should be number one in engineering and quality control. What it boils down to now is what are the hidden issues unseen to the eye. Unfortunately Airstream Quality is not what it used to be.
That would be my guess. Why he’s selling it, there was a lot of issues with RVs built around the Covid crisis, part shortages. Some units were just mismatched, put together with parts, whatever they had on hand, Many supply chain issues, worst ones I’ve seen is their frames are starting to split at the front,
Based on what, your opinion?
As an airstream owner I would agree with this statement. I believe the pandemic has a lot to do with it. Supply got short and they had to pump them out fast, quality suffered.
