Hello KYD, I'd like to talk to you about your Globetrotter's extended warranty! haha! Nice score...a ready to go travel trailer, nice upgrade. I see many upgrades coming for it...quickly.
I noticed you replaced the Norcold fridge. Was this because of the doors? We are having trouble getting ours to seal and stay closed. Is the best option to just replace it with a better unit? Any advice is appreciated. Love your channel
Watching this made my wife and I so happy for you. We recently went from a Flying Cloud to a Globetrotter in the same color scheme you have, and when we saw it in person we knew that's what we wanted. Anyway, we just wanted to say we loved seeing your reaction to the new camper; it was sort of like reliving what we experienced and that was really neat. We would absolutely love to see a deep dive and review of your new Airstream, from storage solutions, to all the things you like and don't like, and all of the appliances and hardware. You beat us to the Airstream family, but in this case I'd like to say welcome to the Globetrotter family! Completely separate note: Airstreams have a lot of different floorplans, the most basic difference being where the dinette/lounge and bathroom is located. Our favorites have been those that have the bed and dinette/lounge on opposite sides (bathroom in the center), each with their own panorama of windows. Although other options are beautiful (like our Flying Clouds), there's no denying that this style floorplan lets in so much more light and feels more airy and cozy.
Funny story… my husband and I just moved from Fresno California (40 minutes north of Vy-Sale-ya aka Visalia). We were looking for an airstream in good shape to purchase before moving to Oklahoma. We tried several times to reach out the owner of your now new to you airstream lol my husband and I had crazy work schedules and just couldn’t seem to touch base with them. I was so sad but it’s nice to see you guys enjoying it. It wasn’t supposed to be ours, but yours instead😊 looking forward to more of adventures ❤
I started watching your channel just before we sold out, packed up & headed out on our full time RV adventure, about 19 months ago. I watched your videos almost religiously for several months, then the algorithm and my spastic attention span conspired to keep you off my feed for way too long. Watching this video reminded how much I enjoy the fun, energy & info. I've missed you guys. The silver lining? Now I get to binge your channel till my eyes cross. Thanks for doing what you do.
My wife and I live in Bakersfield. We have always loved airstreams . We have a Keystone Alpine 36` 5th wheel that we love. I just found you guy`s and am a new subscriber . You guy`s did great that is a beautiful rig.
We have been watching your adventures for the last several years and appreciate all of the ideas and issues you have confronted. Four years ago we bought a 30' Globetrotter from Marks Walberg's Airstream out of Columbus, in the exact same color and configuration as your new rig. You will love it! I had my power converter go out about a year after we bought it, and like you, got to pay the high price at Camping World rather than order it on line. Yes, the same unit was less from Amazon, but we needed one that day. Watch the microwave storage cabinet. It likes to move and slide down on the drawer slide screws to the point it won't stay locked/latched when traveling. We ended up adding an extra latch to stop it from opening while traveling and shooting the MW across the trailer. Otherwise, this has been a great rig. Enjoy your adventures!
Is the old converter really trash, or can it be repaired? Seems like it might be smart to figure out what caused it to quit. I know you can’t haul everything around with you, but I wonder if Vinny or some technician could fix the old one? Love the new rig! Love your videos!
Congratulations. Now you get to start all over customizing a new trailer for the two of you. Of course that will give you many opportunities for many more videos.
Watching this for the second time. Trish, your excitement for your new rig gives me hope that we too will find a rig to be excited about again. The refrigerator/electric struggles reminds me that there will be a huge need for flexibility and a good attitude.
i have been watching your videos for such a long time. I would also like to state I have loved every second of it ! Thanks so much I could only wish one day my wife and I would have the thrill of seeing the both of you two.
Your Globetrotter is beautiful! The views you’ll have with all the windows are going to be spectacular. I think you two are definitely enjoying being empty nesters!
Now, new solar, lots of new great victron stuff on the market. Love the Air Stream, my wife loves our class A, we are fulltime with a large Lab and a cat. Love your videos, been with y’all since day one. We do miss Caleb and his jokes, you have raised some awesome kids.
The dynamics that you two have are absolutely amazing. This coming from a senior single guy all his life and wondering if I didn't miss something along the way ......hmmmm. :). :) Thanks for another great presentation!
We have a 2021 30' Globetrotter, and we have not looked back! We are recent empty nesters and also bought ours used. Making many of the same adjustments you see, and can't wait to follow your adventures in your fabulous rig!
Congratulations on your new Globetrotter! I’m glad that you are staying in the Airstream community. And seriously, how awesome is it to have Ronnie on speed dial 😀
Congrats on the new rig! It’s always nice to get a fresh start, especially when life is changing. Looking forward to seeing you make the globetrotter your own. ❤
What I appreciate about this channel is you guys show that maintaining an RV and the oopsies along the way. There is a lot of pay off with an RV but so many people do not think about all the ins and outs of RVing.
And we have an appointment with Ronnie in early February to do several things. Still not sure if we will do a 3” lift on our 27 ft GT. I AGREE with you - ABSOLUTELY if we have a 30’ GT.
YES!!! Such a great floor plan. As much as we wanted a fifth wheel, Airstreams tow too well and they are great when you're traveling from place to place. Safe travels!
Congrats on the new rig! It's always fun to watch someone else go through 'new' RV issues. :-) Bummer about tripping over the ProPride. That person needs a lot bar that can be left with the trailer at a dealer/shop. It's much better than leaving the whole thing. Good luck you guys! Enjoy getting to know the new toy! P.S. I have a gently used ProPride sitting on my garage floor in boxes if you know of someone who wants one. I upgraded to a Reflection 315 RLTS and when I put the W/D in the front I shot up to 1800 lbs on the tongue when loaded so needed to go with a BlueOx.
oh the fun of a new rig....but oh the fun of a new rig... Love it. I am sure you will enjoy. Your concept I like as well. Plenty of space for the two of you for a long haul, and yet plenty capable of getting into so many places. Looking forward to your upcoming videos, and as always, safe travels.
Proof that no matter if your rig is 2 years old or 42 years old, things are just inevitably going to happen on the road. Kudos to all the "how to" videos over the years. Enjoy that new rig, and safe travels!!
I saw you bought your airstream in visalia I used to work there but lived in exeter and farmersville i miss tulare County. I moved to burlington nc in 1993. Looks awesome.
Enjoy your Airstream. We’ve been retired 14 years and have changed travel trailers 3 times as grandkids came along/ grew up. Now it’s just the 3 of us, my wife and I and the puggle.
Congratulations what's not to like knockout color for sure thanks for sharing your life with us miss the kiddos Godspeed greetings from NC and just one more mile
Welcome to my home town Sacramento Mark & Trish! I've been watching you since the beginning. A long time tent camper, your videos finally inspired me in 2019 to rent a class C & take my family on our first RV camping trip. (Lake Almanor, CA) It was a great but bittersweet experience. My daughter got very sick & we decided to cut our trip short to get her closer to home in Sac. Something just didn't feel right. I'm glad we did because the next day as we were at the hospital, our daughter had a massive seizure & collapsed in the ER. It was the worst day of our lives as we soon discovered our daughter had a nasty & aggressive brain tumor called a craniopharyngioma. Since that day we've had to put our RV dreams away as we concentrate on taking care of her. Life throws you curve balls & we got one of the biggest. We stay close to home these days to be near her care team but I still love watching your content. Maybe one day, god willing, we'll get back on the road. Thanks again & happy travels!
Marc, Trish, and Charlie, thank you, thank you, thank you. Your channel has been the most amazing resource. My wife and I have, for years "thought about" a travel trailer. Long story short, I was unexpectedly laid-up for a few months. While pondering what is important to my life, and plenty of time on my hands, I consumed well over 200 hours of content on TH-cam and RV forum websites. Your channel has been so amazing, encouraging, and approachable with just TONS of great info. To make another long story short, we're picking up our first-ever RV next weekend. We made a great deal on a 2024 Caravel 20'. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Did I say thank you? Only posting on this video because well...... New RV! (did I say "Thank you"?)
We have a 2020 Globetrotter as well. We love it. We were mainly taken by the seating, knowing that it would mainly just be the two of us. Ours is a twin bed model. Have not had any issues scrapping the bottom. Main issue we had ( wah wah wah), is that the table is too high. We will be correcting that with firmer cushions and cutting down the posts.
We are now on our third Airstream and have loved all of them. In 2016 we bought a 19 ft. FB, Flying Cloud. In 2019 we purchased a 23 ft. with the same floor layout. And in 2023 we did our final, and I mean final, purchase. We bought a 25' International. Yes, we are crazy and have very poor financial sense. Despite all of this, we really love the camper and all of the joys that travel brings. I've been watching your TH-cam videos almost since the beginning of our camping adventures. Thank you for sharing. Tom & Birgit Stephens Discovery Bay, CA
Congratulations on the new RV. Thanks for showing the good and bad, that helps all of us more. It will be fun to watch as you organize and upgrade everything to give ideas to us.
OMG, I can feel your excitment over your newest acquisition of the Airstream Globetrotter. Really nice Anyone would feel like a King or Queen living in it. YOWZER. Way kool.
We watch you guys every week. We started watching when you first got started. Have really enjoyed watching you. You guys really are such wonderful people. My wife and I are both empty nesters, full time RVrs and the same age range (I’m 46) as you two. You have inspired us and we really appreciate what you do.
I normally don’t like talk overs; but, this one was perfect! Love being informed on where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’ve going! My comfort zone 😊
The word you were searching for when talking about your trailer bottoming out in the campground is break over angle and departure angle. You also have approach angle.
Congratulations on your new to you rig. New chapter in your life without kids. We spent a couple of years trying to adjust to being a couple again. Happy camping!❤
I recently had my trailer in store mode plugged in to shore power. I couldn't figure out why my charge converter wasn't working. Was just about to tear it apart when I remembered this video. Thanks for saving me a lot of time.
Oh my goodness 😳 time has flown so fast!! All babies are grown up!! My three are grown up!! Just one more 9 more years once she will be 18 wow wee time has flown by so fast!! You two look so refreshed. Rv life I hear yeah. Always look very well check check. I got my fifth wheel in 2019 I say I had lots of downsides. But we have pulled threw. I'm happy for the two of you. Enjoy 😉 your free time. Explore adventure nature.
Marc & Trish, congratulations on the new trailer. Airstream went away from using WFCO in their 2024 models. People were having too many issues with them especially in the longer trailers. They would rarely charge to 14.2 in the Classics that had lithium batteries. We had this issue on our 2023 Classic. I switched it out with a progressive dynamics lithium only converter and that fixed the issue. If you want to stick to WFCO I have one that I will send you. 😁
It is so cool to see people are moving forward and not forgetting the past! So very cool and I love it. Just a Note. Changes the way the shower door swings, that will solve that issue. of the curtain in the hallway. The Head not sure, guest it swings correct, 2am it does not LOl ...but I thing this is a wonderful master cabin for you. Hugs and have a blast. That master is awesome!
Have I mentioned the jealousy factor is at an all-time high. We're on the road now because of you guys but man Mark, I've said this for a long time in your videos you have my respect for keeping your composure, because when there has been problems with my first rig in my second rig, oh I'm so upset. Sometimes I just go outside pull out my stargazer and just sit in it for a while. -Cody B
Mark and Trish, we love your new rig. We have a 25’ Serenity Airstream. If I may, please let me give you a little tip. We have the Same shower stall as your unit. It will be just a matter of time before You will find the shower door slipped down in its hinge, and you will be lifting the door to open and close. I cut a small white block of poly plastic and put it under the door hinge and it pivots on it. This has been a perfect fix. Congratulations on your new Airstream. Tom and Debbie Moquin
Charly is such a great dog! But he seems a little lonely back there in the back seat without his buddy Calib. The Globetrotter is awesome! Love the layout and the big seating area.
Well done on the repair/repairs! I got 2 BB GCII’s too! Love them. I got rid of my converter and going with a 3K Victron Inverter. That device is configurable and chargers my two Lithium batteries just fine.
Love seeing your excitement in getting the new Globetrotter. My wife and I just picked up our new “slightly used - 1x” 23 FBT International and we felt the same way. We can’t wait to get on the road to do some traveling and camping this year.
AWesome trailer !!! Love Airstreams and the Globetrotter is what I would pick also ! Have been watching for years and never fail to be entertained .. Keep it up and safe travels !
I loved the little things the previous owner of my second Airstream and first used Airstream left for me. Some random half used spice containers, a bar set, a few things on the wall. I had flown across the country to get it so they also gave me some things like a blanket and a towel.
Hi Mark just wanted to give you a heads up on the WFCO Autodetect converter. They have issues stying in Lithium mode/ charging the lithium batteries at the correct voltage. Especially if you have solar it confuses the autodetect. The fix is to call WFCO and send it in for software update that forces converter to stay in lithium mode only if you have lithium batteries. I and my buddy had that issue.
We got ours really fast as well...after researching for a year. The 2021 27ft globetrotter is a machine....more than a trailer...we put in an autonomous solar power plant and it has been good.
Good video guys. Wife and I were just down in your neck of the woods (Kingman, Williams, Flagstaff and Kingman AZ) a few weeks ago with our new to us 2005 Airstream Classic 28' that we bought last year. Ours has all of the original equipment on it and we have driven over 10,000 miles so far w/o any problems. I hope your 2020 Globetrotter will be as good as your last one (minus the front end problems). Best regards.
Toooo much fun watching Trish exploring the new RV. I was afraid her face would split from the size of the grin. Love the new floor plan, and the repairs start at once. 🤣😂😝 You two ( and Charlie) take good care of. Thanks for sharing.
This was fun! I wanted to immediately help troubleshooting with electricity and provide ideas on how to use the space. We have the same bathroom/shower layout in our 25 RBQ. The windows are the best, now you can wake up to a view. That’s what I love most in our rig.
Thank you for keeping it real in all your videos. Enjoy your documentation of real life RVing, it helps us all learn about the realities of it. Safe travels!
One easy tip, if the converter goes bad, you can just use a 10 amp automotive battery charger on the RV battery to get the same level of functionality. It will get you by until you can get the converter replaced/fixed.
We aren’t Airstream fans but all those windows are fantastic! I hope you have better luck than I did with the WFCO-8955-AD converter and getting it to automatically detect the LiFePO4 batteries and maintain the lithium charging profile. In my TT, WFCO said the batteries are too far from the converter and it can’t detect the lithium batteries on the tongue because the wires between the converter and the batteries are too small of a gauge. So I need to see if I can relocate the converter or upsize the positive wire.
Great to see how positive( no pun) yall are when problems pop up. (dips). It gives me something to work towards. Hope to meet you some day. I missed you in Greenville SC
Hey KYD Congrats! You inspired us to the AS fam a few years back. We currently have the 27GB and loving it. On that converter, we didn't have much luck with the autosensing WFCO stock converter. I could never get it to bulk charge our lithium's. And yes, we worked closely with WFCO. They were great but wanted to do a firmware upgrade, then seemed more concerned about cable length and gauge of wires being used from the battery. If you ever seen the location of the converter in the 27FB you have to be cotorsion expert to even look at the converter let alone the lights. You have to pull the fridge which is a pain. We switched to the Progressive Dynamics for lithium and quite happy. No more converter issues. So happy for you guys, looking FWD to 2024... Sundays with KYD 🙂
Now you get to start the upgrades all over. Lift, solar, Lithium, well.... you know the drill. We have a 30' Classic (2005) that I'm never letting go, I'll just keep modifying as my need changes. But new rigs sure are purdy.
What do you mean a lift? YOU mentioned a scrape , at about 10:30 on the video. I am very interested in this model, i love your video so much! Cheers! Wes Obee
Dexter makes 3" brackets for a lift. I'll do it with Ronnie this year. Vinnie does them also. I think lifts are essential and actually improved the towing. Certainly didn't change it.
That color scheme is perfect, and oh my goodness all the light in there is going to make the videos even more beautiful! Trish looked like a glowing angel with all that natural light in her hair and face. And you get tons more "living and entertaining space" too... Awesome job guys!
good job! I did essentially the same thing - we wanted to go to lithium (Battle Born) so we just switched out the converter like you did - except we did it at home and not in a campground!! Best mod ever.

Blessings to you all for your generous attitude!!
The new rig episodes have always been great and well put together but nothing can top the teardrop reveal with it parked behind the 5th wheel.
The minute I saw Trish standing outside (freezing) trying to cook a meal, I knew the teardrop was on the way out.
I started watching your channel just before we sold out, packed up & headed out on our full time RV adventure, about 19 months ago. Luxe is great. I'm sure you saw our episode with the Luxe being pulled by the Peterbilt 389. Such a fun episode.
Congrats on your GT! Trish’s walk through is EXACTLY why we bought our 2019 27’ FBQ GT. I do like the window in the bathroom.

OMG, Visalia is my home town, and we used to go to Sequoia all the time when I was a kid. Enjoy yourself, it's spectacular place to camp.
Congratulations on the new RV. Thanks for showing the good and bad, that helps all of us more. It will be fun to watch as you organize and upgrade everything to give ideas to us.
Oh the joys of RV repair at the park with a "New to you" rig. Been there done that.
You guys never fail to be entertaining.
You are living a dream some of us can only imagine.
OMG, I can feel your excitment over your newest acquisition of the Airstream Globetrotter. Really nice

It sold me when I saw the bottle of Decoy Cabernet, my favorite all time. Nice looking rig, enjoy.
I watched it twice, both of you are so cute together and fun. bless you
I normally don’t like talk overs; but, this one was perfect! Love being informed on where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’ve going! My comfort zone 😊
Your right about the shower and bathroom being separate, its weird. The cloud has it right.
The word you were searching for when talking about your trailer bottoming out in the campground is break over angle and departure angle. You also have approach angle.
Had to rewatch this. I’m so excited to see this right now in use. I want to see views out all of the windows!
All Clad pans!!!! What!!?!! Wow! Congratulations 😊❤
-Cody B
Your new globetrotter is gorgeous!! I’m looking forward to filling along as you make repairs, decorate and get upgrades on this airstream!
Love from Thailand. God Bless you two.
Mark and Trish, we love your new rig. We have a 25’ Serenity Airstream. If I may, please let me give you a little tip. We have the
Same shower stall as your unit. It will be just a matter of time before
You will find the shower door slipped down in its hinge, and you will be lifting the door to open and close. I cut a small white block of poly plastic and put it under the door hinge and it pivots on it. This has been a perfect fix. Congratulations on your new Airstream.
Tom and Debbie Moquin
Good tip. Thanks!
Just started watching you guys this past year. Fun to see how the kids started camping now their into adulthood. Time flies. Congrats on the new rig
We’ve owned 5 Airstreams and our 2021 Globetrotter is our favorite by far!
Love it ! The windows, color scheme is great ! Enjoy and safe travels!
Oh my gosh! Love the Globetrotter!! It’s so open but comfy! So happy for y’all!❤❤
AWesome trailer !!!
And I thought I could ever like an Airy. But folks, I .... I Lo ... I LOV ... OK ALREADY!!!!! I Love this One!!!! Ok. there, I said it.
Globetrotter looks great! Looking forward to seeing more of your fun adventures!
IM HAPPY FOR YOUR NEW HOME GOD BLESS LOVE YOU❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Mark just wanted to give you a heads up on the WFCO Autodetect converter.
Congratulations I haven't seen so many smiles in a long time.
The one complaint I have about my camper is the small kitchen, I'm surprised you got this, kitchen seems sooooo small.
Happy Sunday everyone
🏆
Congratulations, folks. Very nice.
What a beautiful family you have and your RV is just light and stunning 😍
Thank you.
Love your new rig. Hey listen, my son says if Tracker Supply doesn't have it... you don't need it. Have Fun!
True!
We just converted our motorhome from lead acid to lithium. Did it ourselves. There is so much to look into.
We got ours really fast as well...after researching for a year. The 2021 27ft globetrotter is a machine....more than a trailer...we put in an autonomous solar power plant and it has been good.
Congratulations! So much fun! We are on our 3rd Airstream. First was back in 2003, they just get better and better, Enjoy!
THANK YOU for sharing such joy - you totally lifted my day❤
Thank you for keeping it real in all your videos. Enjoy your documentation of real life RVing, it helps us all learn about the realities of it. Safe travels!
Conversating is perfect in this Globetrotter lol too cute
I think you'll end up loving the separate shower. We had one a few RVs back. We welcomed it back in our new Airstream.
I just can’t believe how many different RVs you have had through the years it’s been crazy
I’m excited for the new mod videos and the storage organization! 😁
I do like the airstreams for no slides and they are just beautifully designed. Loved your video the reality of RV life.😅
Departure angle is the term you were looking for 😁.
So happy for you guys! Getting used to storage on a new rig is A THING 😆 Cant wait for that video!!! Congrats!
That color scheme is perfect, and oh my goodness all the light in there is going to make the videos even more beautiful! Trish looked like a glowing angel with all that natural light in her hair and face. And you get tons more "living and entertaining space" too... Awesome job guys!
Thanks. Yes, it was the light that got us. Even recording at night is absolutely perfect lighting. For video, those things make a big difference.
Ragbria has set its route. It's coming thru my city, Ottumwa don't miss out on getting a famous Canteen.
good job! I did essentially the same thing - we wanted to go to lithium (Battle Born) so we just switched out the converter like you did - except we did it at home and not in a campground!! Best mod ever.
That rig is super fly! New owner, new scratch, never fails.
Thank you for sharing your adventure. Blessings
