This guy does the best Airstream walkthrough of any Airstream dealer. All the other dealers are just salesman, this guy has actually worked on Airstreams
Chris, that was a great service walkthrough…so much easier than reading the manual and I retain a lot more watching and love your in-sites. Would love you to do one of the new Pottery Barn version as well. Thanks
Great review. I know you aren’t in sales… but if you get referral perks, please mention someday the cost to upgrade your inverter and batteries. Those who like to camp without hookups will love you for it!
Airstream puts the 1000 watt inverter in all the Globetrotters. Cost of solar package is available on Airstream website. But if you mean replacing inverter with larger one and installed lithium batteries, the costs vary widely. Their service department can give you their options.
@@sscooktx1950 - The 1000w inverter, 2 battery limit, unheated battery area and limited Solar options, are a few of the reasons I haven’t bought one. I love them, but at or around $100k I expect a better value.
@@Erin-Thor I hear that. I’ve got one coming in February. I’m investing another $8k to add solar, 400ah Lithium and 3000w inverter. There’s no other trailer like an Airstream. To me it’s worth the investment.
I found out new things even after owning my globetrotter for 2 years. I would talk about how to put the antifreeze in the system. That one was a hard one to figure out.
While I generally like the “keep it simple” approach that Airstream brings to these towables, the steps always look too flimsy-seems like much traffic, especially if some of the people coming in and out are on the heavy side, is going to bend or break them. Also, I really like the way awnings on other trailers and RV’s have wind sensors and roll in automatically if the wind picks up. You kind of have to stay with these once you have them out. Those comments aside, if I ever buy a towable, Airstream is my pick.
Man, these aren’t built as well as I thought they were. What a waste of water waiting for the shower to warm up. Everything just seems flimsy. Thought AirStream was high end. Lots of little things to deal with. My truck camper is built way better. But me and the wife do want to check them out. Thanks for the video.

This guy is simply the best in the business in explaining these rather complicated trailers.
No sugar coating things, just a comprehensive run down of the trailer.
A great video through and through.
New 2022 27’ owner here. Awesome walk through. You provided tips I hadn’t heard before. Thank you!
This is the best airstream video I've seen. Great job explaining everything for a new owner!
Best Globetrotter video walkthrough. Good job Chris. Do the 2023 Classic please.

I really like Chris. He is so helpful
My goodness that was exceptional. Much appreciated.

Chris, very helpful technical walk-through. Is this unit a display model?
This one is not, but we do have several units on display for customers to view.

Have to clean the glass window
I might know how to touch the button on that too
You going to turn my gas tank on first
I know that
Drain can take that to the septic tank
I think that was the gas tank heater
