Agree wholeheartedly, as we purchased our new Airstream from Colonial in 2014. Patrick led us around their facility and opened as many models as we were interested & left us alone to explore. All their staff was exceptional & continued that way offering technical support for wear & tear and maintenance issues as they occurred. We even contacted them on one of many cross country trips & Canada.

Keep an eye out for a pre-owned PB. The Pottery Barn model will be harder to find at a lower price. They hold their values very well.

Still just wish Airstream would offer a bottom-up blind option so you can still see out while blocking view into the RV by anyone walking past. (Like Winnebago offers).

It's more than my mortgage so I would definitely have to sell my house but man-o-man do I love dreaming about being a nomad. Very nice Patrick, it’s hard to beat the quality of an Airstream. Some type of sliding door for the bedroom would make sense to keep the noise down from the living area. Other than that, anyone would be comfortable in hot or cold weather with this luxury home on wheels.

Best Airstream interior by a mile! And the large undivided sink is a must. Only thing I would change is gas cooktop to induction cooktop.

I've been watching your walk thrus for several years now. You do a very professional job of it, and actually KNOW what you are talking about. Its a shame Airstream has gone to the demand water heaters, as everyone I know who has had one hated them. For me that would be a no go, I would have to convert it to a standard 6 gal tank water heater.

Airstream really needs to increase the height by 12” which would allow a proper door height and more storage. Also, they need to go back to slide outs to increase floor space.

You’ve missed the point of Airstream. There are many, many other companies manufacturing campers with those features. Airstream customers DO NOT want those things!! That’s why Airstream has a very loyal, specific, die hard customer base! Airstream has never been a “slide out” company.
@@bluefinch6504 That’s simply not true, bluefinch. Airstream has adapted and expanded over the years; and did produce slide-outs in the 90’s. I do know quite a bit about the brand-have purchased 3 new (and 1 used) airstreams over last 35+ years. Furthermore, you do know who owns airstream now, right-Thor Industries, which is not “grandpa’s Airstream” anymore.

200 amp hrs of lithium standard is great but can you option for more lithium and solar?
Additional solar and lithium is available as an aftermarket dealer installed upgrade.

Every window that opens has an insect screen. Perhaps they are not visible for you in the video.
Ground clearance? It looks like its very low, close to the ground. Particularly looking at how far the rig extends past the rear axel. Big problem.
There is a 3" axle lift kit available if you feel more ground clearance is necessary for your travels.

It doesn't turn into a bed by movement or expanding. All you have to do it remove the back rests.

All white floors and couch, and boy will this thing get dirty fast!

Pretty trailer but 2 people can't sleep where the dinette is - it's 18 inches less in width than the bed and barely wider than a twin bed. LOL Patrick!
I beg to differ. My current trailer has a 50x70 bed and we sleep 2 adults and a 30lb dog.
We have many customers that mange to sleep two adults on the dinette when they are visiting.
You kind of give it away when you say "manage to sleep two adults". My issue is that you don't need this as a selling point and it takes away from your credibility. A twin bed measures 38" in width. A full bed (a tight squeeze for many couples but doable) is 54" in width. You're saying this dinette is 42" width. You used to say that you could sleep 2 kids on a dinette with which I readily agree. So no Patrick, you can't sleep 2 adults here "no problem at all" and you know it. You've got a great product in Airstream - don't mess it up.

The CCC is lower because their accounting for all the additional Pottery Barn items that are included which would be similar to things that you be carrying if you bought a non-barn model.
The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) is reduced due to the inclusion of various Pottery Barn items, which add to the overall weight.

Its an accessory that the owner has the option to use or not to use. I dont believe it will dent the shell.

Still do not understand this layout...Airstream and others use front lounge. So, I've spend in excess of 100k for my Airstream ,I;m pulling onto my campsite on the Gulf Coast... Key West you name it...spend good money for ocean view and I sit there looking at the bed of my truck or tow rig... I could sit at home and have almost the same view. REAR LOUNGE.
Airstream offer both front and rear floor plan models in the Flying Cloud, International and Globetrotter model line. If you want the living space view to be in the rear, you would pick a floor plan that offers that. This floor plan has a great view of your camping side.

A couple you tubers bought one went and did 40 states in 40 days said wasted our money it just the name your buying air stream didn’t hold up stuff didn’t hold up interior? And electric
I think I saw the video you’re referring to and I don’t think they completely hated airstream but they did have a few complaints particularly about the pottery barn model….but I don’t think it was anything extreme. airstream has incredible resale value people are constantly modifying airstream from the 1950s onwards you don’t see that with regular RVs because regular RVs absolutely do not last

I disagree. I have purchased dining tables and a sofa. And the quality has been great and very sturdy.
You know airstream has been around forever. But nowadays with all of the trailers that are out there. Well, I should say Rv’s that have tip outs, to me it seems like the airstream is just way out of his league right now. I Would not buy a trailer without many tip outs.
Enough of the outside. I am interested in the interior. Get a woman to do this!!!

Thank you for your opinion. Airstream has been building travel trailers for over 90 years, they are not new at designing these. This floor plan design is over 20 years old and is one of the most popular. We have many customers, two adults kids and pets that do extended travel in this model. RV's, travel trailers, camper vans (all recreational vehicles) are not manufactured or designed for the purpose of full time living. Many people that decide to adapt their lives to be able to live in an RV full time, know that they will give up some comforts that they would have in a house or apartment when moving into an RV.

It has heated tanks, enclosed underbelly and insulation throughout. There is also a forced hot air furnace, heat pumps and you can survive unexpected drops in temperatures below freezing overnight for with water on board.
