By far the best medical videos on TH-cam. Better than my university education actually. These are helping me tremendously through my nurse practitioner program.
Thank you so much for not making your video lectures into private or paid packages. And just teaching . You're helping insane number of kids out there including me . And I can't ever thank you enough for doing this ♥️♥️
I know that I can always rely on your content. It's amazing how well you are able to explain one of the hardest things in preclinical studies. Thank u so much!!!
I love your videos! I study biochemistry on my own because it is a topic I find amazing and worth exploring to have a better understanding of other areas like bacterial cognition and code biology, but I never thought I'd be able to actually understand it. You make things so easy to understand :)
I am a microbiology student and these videos have made my life soo much easier! its amazing how simple you can conduct a lecture of such a complex topic in less than an hour.. You've clearly deserved an award!
Ninja you are a legend I could never Understand glycolysis and other phases or making energy as I do today , Thanks a lot You are the best teacher ever !
That lesson seems a little bit tricky as it contains a lot of details makes me so confused. However, your way on explaining Prof Zach is too amazing I understood everything you said but you know something inhibit and the other stimulate thay needs a lot of time to organize all these knowledge in my head.
Oh I'm sorry I don't meant that video I meant the last one I'm sorry again the last video which I meant about it is regulation of Glycolysis it's nearly 30mins long

You mention that NAD gets its H ion from pyruvate but doesn't it get the H ion from Coenzyme A? After pyruvate is decarboxylated, the thiol (SH) group from Coenzyme A loses an H ion which is taken up by NAD forming NADH and the remaining CoA bonds with the decarboxylated pyruvate, I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just making sure that my notes from class are correct/incorrect 😩thankss ❤
Does anyone know if there is a more detailed video about this? Like one showing the process of TPP, Lipoic acid, etc. and how they synthesize pyruvate?
can someone please drop the link to the video where he talks about pyruvate dehydrogenase complex and how this 3 enzyme complex converts pyruvate into acetyl Co A

True that
3 years later and still are the best

Very very good. I am studying metabolism again after 40years. Your schematic teaching just simplified and made it easy. GOD BLESS YOU.
You sir are the only reason i will pass my exam tomorrow, wish I could reroute my unit payment to your channel🤣🤣🤣🤣❤
how was it? Currently you are a proffessional ?
Bro, you are such an amazing teacher who I can describe with words.
This dude is the reason I actually believe that I can pass my exam despite my inability to stay focused in lectures! Thank you
these videos are like turning the lights on in my brain
so much help for medschool, thankyouuu
Thanks for keeping things simple! I can now get to read and understand metabolism better, was stranded for months

Thank you king! Passionate human being that likes to teach,.... I learn so much, thank you, thank you!🙏
This is an incredible explanation of this process. Thank you for taking the time to explain this concept so well!!! This has been SUPER helpful.
very detailed and clear explanation. very useful in making me understand and grasp the concepts better. please do keep it up
Better than my university teachers! Thanks you sooo much for this! YOU ARE SAVING OUR LIVES!

Thank you so much for making this so clear. I always get clear understanding of concepts from your lectures.
고마워요~ 이해가 잘 되네요! Thank you for your video. it helps me to understand those basic notions.
im in a shit university and im hoping to write usmle soon. im so grateful for resousrces like this. I would have beed screwed beyond measure

that's the best biochemistry lesson i ever had !! thank you !
This is the BEST channel I've come across for learning biochem/anything. Thank you!!!
You make our lives so much easier. I am preparing for NBDE Part 1 and this is the most helpful channel I have come across.!

Best video on this process!! Amazing job, keep it up!!

you are better than my teacher in high school and my teacher in cram school😭😭😭😭😭
Will use these lectures for my physiology
Hi, 2nd year med student here. Your videos are helping us a lot since day one. Just want to say thank you!

THIS IS SO GREAT ! THANK YOU SO MUCH !
i Wish all the professons were just 1/2 as good as u , Thank you so much

Heya, a year after
How did your first year of med school go? I'm sure it was tough but hope you never gave up
man you r absolutely the best!!
Hi , i have a question. PDH complex is present in cytoplasm rather than mitochondria but here linked reaction shows in mitochondria ?
Biochemistry is killing me. You are my savior
GOOD WORK CHAP, BY MEDICAL STUDENTS in kenya
Thank you for the explanation. Please keep on making as many vedios as possible
Thank god for you sir thank god
This guy is a Boss💥💥💥
Great work.
I think the enzyme that remves the co2 is pyruvate decarboxylase not PDH as you said
Thank you you are a genius.
wish my professors would teach like u!!
Sir, it will be so helpful if you explain the disease too related to metabolism .
Great sir you are you teach well and good lecture on kreb cycle.
Worth watching ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks captain!
You have made this so much more understandable. Im learning so much more from you than my professors in med school
Thank you for this!

Why is it called pyruvate dehydrogenase when it's decarboxylating something?
awesome
still binge watching the biochem list for my exam haha
You mention that NAD gets its H ion from pyruvate but doesn't it get the H ion from Coenzyme A? Perfect.
Thank you.. really very cooool!!!!!!
If it's pyruvate dehydrogenase then how is the NAD+ turning to NADH.
With lactate dehydrogenase the NADH turns to NAD+
LOVE u man
Beautiful lesson, one question: where does the Acetil-CoA synthesis take place in Prokyotes?
Super cool
Does anyone know if there is a more detailed video about this? Like one showing the process of TPP, Lipoic acid, etc. and how they synthesize pyruvate?
Acetyl CoA***
idk how these lessons are still free
Why then are the neurons unable to produce glucose?
Better than my teacher
Great
