    I love your videos! I study biochemistry on my own because it is a topic I find amazing and worth exploring to have a better understanding of other areas like bacterial cognition and code biology, but I never thought I'd be able to actually understand it.     I think the enzyme that remves the co2 is pyruvate decarboxylase not PDH as you said

    That lesson seems a little bit tricky as it contains a lot of details makes me so confused. However, your way on explaining Prof Zach is too amazing I understood everything you said but you know something inhibit and the other stimulate thay needs a lot of time to organize all these knowledge in my head.

    You mention that NAD gets its H ion from pyruvate but doesn't it get the H ion from Coenzyme A? After pyruvate is decarboxylated, the thiol (SH) group from Coenzyme A loses an H ion which is taken up by NAD forming NADH and the remaining CoA bonds with the decarboxylated pyruvate, I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just making sure that my notes from class are correct/incorrect 😩thankss ❤

    If it's pyruvate dehydrogenase then how is the NAD+ turning to NADH.
    With lactate dehydrogenase the NADH turns to NAD+
