We have the TK-01 for well over a year- we love it! Not sure if you went into this machine w/ a negative mindset, but none of the items you describe in 2-3 uses is consistent with my experience. You can get fully customizable espresso style drinks, and it needs to be played with, and adjusted depending on your beans, coffee taste profile, etc. You get a great trial option with TK for this reason. You should have given it a chance, there is no way to fully evaluate a machine with this many features in a day or two. :) cheers to suggest something else, I would recommend you look at the Gaggia line up. They have a lot of affordable options which beat out some $2000+ machines for 1/2 the price.

How to Calibrate Terra Kaffe 01 with Hidden calibration setting for revolutions of the burr grinder: Press "88", then press "OK", Is the setting inside the bracket "0" or any low number? Then press "36", then press "OK", and back your way out. This will instantly result in a richer, darker, and stronger brew in your cappuccino.
My girlfriend and I were laughing. Respect to you for subtly (or not so subtly) shitting on the machine. We are going to look at the return policy but probably still try the machine out. There were some aspects we thought weren’t the machines fault such as opening the water container and it hitting your other machines 😂. Still solid
Wow!! You had a lot of issues……did you watch any of the videos of users??? Any machine will have a lemon..(just like cars)…..i had 2 Nespressos…..the last one i paid almost $600….it worked great until about a year later…..i had issues with the milk attachment…..so i bought a profitech 300…..which is pretty fantastic!! But it is a lot of work sometimes……i was thinking about purchasing this machine…..and i still may…..as far as the water alignment issues….i have heard that you really have to push it in hard…..i dont think this is the machine for you……you wanna sell it??
@@claudiutoader5938 just looked at the Jura machines….. dang, they get pricey in a hurry. Do you have one? Which model? Look pretty amazing, I have to admit.
@@stevetyo6150 we have Jura Ena 4. Its just an espresso and americano machine, it makes no milky drinks. Its about 750 euros. If we want a capuccino or latte, we use a milk frother, which makes a better milk foam than any fully automatic machine could. The main thing with Jura is the taste of the coffee, its very very close to a coffee made in a coffee shop. We've had Philips Saeco Syntia at first, then we switched to philips 3200 lattego for convenience, we also tried our friend Delonghi dinamica plus... but the coffee out of the Jura is just better. We were considering Jura ena 8 at first ( almost double in price ) which makes milky drinks as well, but, as i said, if you want quality foam, a frother is a better option, and its cheap and easy to look after. If you have the time and dedication, of course, you can buy separate machines for grinding, brewing and steaming the milk...but that its not for us, we just want a great tasting coffee done in a minute and sometimes a nice capuccino.
@@stevetyo6150 check out the D6. I live with 3 friends who all love coffee (3+ cups per day each) and get compliments on it all the time. That said, it’s frustrating that it’s not a smart device and there’s a lot of frequent maintenance (filter replacements and a lot of tablets for cleaning). Fantastic machine otherwise

Look to me like the problem was not the machine as much as the operator. Obviously didn't read any instructions on how to use it.

Looks a lot like you had the tank misaligned and the previous grounds can’t remove themselves because they weren’t wet.
Is this machine on 12 months or 24 months warranty? I cannot find warranty information anywhere from Terra Kaffe!
I believe it was a 12 month warranty but you could purchase additional time for a upcharge. Maybe reach out to the customer service directly?
