Welcome back! This week's video is vlog style! I had initially planned on doing an unboxing, then rolling into tips and how to's, but I quickly realized that I needed to spend some time with my new espresso machine in order to give you some good feedback. In short, I LOVE it! This video will take you through the week with me testing things out, going to WW, getting my nails done and more! I hope you enjoy it! The machine is absolutely gorgeous and I'm not going to lie, I'd love one of those! Wow! Seriously though Lori, it feels like you're a seasoned owner, you really did the research. I would've never guessed you just got it. I laugh because I also explore all the options before making a big purchase like that.

This machine is amazing and I thank you for reviewing it. With the number of drinks that you've had in just the last couple of days of having it I think it's already paid for itself haha. I also like the fact that they're separate lines so you don't have to keep flushing before you can use the hot water feature. I'd love to see the coffee pucks. I really think there's many uses for the used grounds with my plants, etc

Great info on the coffee machine. Do you still love it after having it for many months ? I see I can purchase it for $650 so quite a bit lower now. Trying to decide if this is better than the Nespresso virtuo machine using pods. Gets to be quite expensive also!! Thank you!!
I'm still loving it Barb. At one point the milk line had stopped working, but they replaced the unit free of charge. Great customer service.

I purchased it two weeks ago. The cappuccino tastes very watery for me. Do you not have the problem?
I haven't had an issue with that. You can adjust the knob on top where you put in the espresso beans...it might help

I have a question - when I bought this machine I thought Americano was a regular cup of coffee - I just finally hooked up the machine and found that it's not. I'm really bummed because I like a regular cup in the morning and then lattes as a treat during the day because of all the milk. I watched a video with the workaround with 2 shots of espresso and add water - I'm not loving the taste of it. Has anyone tried experimenting with this? Advice welcome, because my husband wants to kill me, I need a coffee machine, not just an espresso machine
Hi Denise. I too like a full cup of coffee in the morning. We've experimented with making a full pot separately and then doing cappuccino and lattes later in the day. I always add the steamed milk from my Terra Kaffe. Recently though, I've been really enjoying doing 2x Americanos with the milk on top. It tastes slightly different than traditional drip style coffee, but I'm really enjoying it. I don't know of many espresso machines that also offer drip coffee. We actually took another small appliance off of our counter so we could leave the old coffee pot. I use them both, but I notice we are phasing out the traditional coffee little by little.

Maybe consider a stovetop espresso maker... I used a 6 shot/'cup' stainless steel Bialetti for decades. They cost maybe $70 and are super easy to use & clean. No frothing or grinding functions tho. Imho the key to gorgeous, satisfying coffee/espresso is to find a great bean. We have lots of independent coffee roasters in town, so luckily I was able to track down a dreamy medium roast organic, single source, shade-grown, fair trade coffee bean pretty easily for a great price & just kept buying that (Carrizal from Caffe Fantastico - they ship!).
The Terra Kaffe is a triumph of form over function. Messy and dysfunctional. Should avoid!
Next time use the machine for a week or 2 get familiar with it then make a video it' so broken up it's very hard to watch... Not to be rude but I didn't learn anything here
