Hi Goodhumans! We’re getting a lot of messages asking us how it’s like working at Jubilee. Our team is usually behind the camera, but we want to do a better job at sharing more insight on who the team is & how we work. Being a part of a media company is exciting. However, with the highs, it comes with the lows. Thank you to those who have constantly supported us- it means so much to us! We hope with this Part 2 of Spectrum: Jubilee Team video, you’re able to get to know us more!
Jubilee For odd one out, mabey you guys should have a scene where at the end everyone gets back together to show that everything is just a game and that there are no hard feelings.
This company is so genuine. I know they’re getting more hate, but it’s only because they’re growing. I’m glad such an influential platform tackles real issues.
@@OpiaKitty Women are more likely to idolize things in an emotional level. Such as the word "genuine" being apply to a company who's purpose is to make video to make a profit. Anything money related can not be genuine and needs to be planned out.
I honestly really give props to Jubilee for using their channel to address topics mainstream media is too scared to, watching Jubilee has been amazing for me and I think has allowed a lot of its viewers to expand their thinking.
Fr I love the diff perspectives I've been exposed to while watching this channel, like after watching the monogamy vs polygamy middle ground I changed the way I view polygamy alot
Deyana Nasri their enot using there channel to cover topics mainstream media won’t????? That’s HOW there channel got this big so they have to keep doing this content. They have done this since the start
@@firstlast3510 people in the comments are not worthy tbh. The amount of bullying they do is incredible. This channel is trying to teach civil disagreement yet people get outraged for miniscule things and still resort to cyber bullying and spreading harmful information
Must be so hard to choose a topic that thousands of people recommend, thinking of 6 questions, pressing record on a camera, editing an hour long talk and posting a Craigslist add for people to talk. Sooo hard
551223 Bruh you say that but literally people who just do vlogs on youtube say THATS hard. They literally have to get people to participate, think of the questions, record it, edit it WHICH TAKES LONG BTW, and then they post it and they STILL get hate. You might think it’s easy but if you’ve never actually tried to do it, you wouldn’t know
I think the first episode I watched was Veterans and Peace Activists. As a vet I can say that those two groups are not mutually exclusive. I kept watching more episodes because they managed to maintain a respectful dialogue. Which just doesn’t seem to happen much anymore.
I was so surprised I literally expected them to go "yea people attacked a cast member lol". they're so honest with their audience and I appreciate that so much
People attacking Erin in the comments are just toxic trolls. First, she was in a game, like Michael said, it's competitive, you're supposed to question everyone. And secondly In that video 50% of the cast wasn't even vegan, one guy admitted that he eats fish..., a girl admitted she buys leather, another one eats candies that are made with animal products... talk about confusion. Typical these days to see people labeling themselves vegan when they're not. I think they should have defined what veganism is before inviting anyone who claims to be vegan. It was impossible to find the mole with so many people being loose with the definition.
Neo I don’t know if you can discount them all as not being vegan (maybe the pescatarian) because they don’t subscribe to a particular view of veganism. That might have been part of the issue too.
Thank you! I was going to ask for the exact same thing. I'm not deaf, but I live in Brazil, and I can't watch the videos with other people i like because it doesn't even have english subtitles to help them understand what people are saying.
I love that the CEO is in the back so people can’t base their answer off of where he’s going and he can hopefully get their most honest feedback. After having worked at a place where I know my feedback is not valued or taken well, this is really great to watch
I have been a subscriber for a while now, and I can say that this channel is one of the most authentic and genuine channels I have ever come across. These hit hard, make me so emotional and I value all the time that goes into them. Don't focus on the hate, I'm sure we can better ourselves from it but, that's not what this channel is.
Manu Eli definitely, and if people do know about Polynesians, they underestimate us based off past events or appearance. It would be nice for others to see from a Polys perspective 😅
As a Black person I would LOVE to see a video about Polynesian or Native Americans. Supporting people of color means supporting PEOPLE OF COLOR, not just your own. I can't expect others to listen to my story with sincere interest if I'm not willing to do the same for them. Honestly if y'all know of any movies about either of these groups I'd love to know more
I love how Jubilee puts their own selves including their boss in videos and speak their truth openly. Not many platforms are truthful and genuine enough to make videos like this about themselves.
I love how the CEO is intently listening to his team. I love that he cares what his team’s opinions are. This company is really amazing, genuine and gives awareness or enlightens the viewers. ♥️ the quality of your videos are really great and I salute Jubilee for the principles and the goals you have. It touches a lot of people.😊
Criticism is important. Anyone who said something along the lines of their questions being too easy are not wrong for thinking that. If they keep doing easy questions then this channel will get boring because it doesn't encourage understanding and discussion as much as it could and should.
Even though Erin was pretty aggressive and rude in the odd man out vegan video, I feel like people took the whole thing too far, There was no need to harass her or send her death threats, like when you guys do that youre acting just as bad as she was in the video
I still dislike Erin how she treated a new comer to vegan. I don't think she deserved death threats and being doxxed. She was being rude as hell and kept judging someone who hasn't even been a vegan that long. She had it coming, this is the internet
it’s nice to know that y’all actually take feedback from your viewers. some comments are probably unnecessarily harsh but y’all are still putting in so much work
it's really reassuring to know that this company is not only another faceless corporations, but run by humans who are genuinely invested in their job, the content they release and the impact they want to cause. lot of respect.
Alyssa H. Yes they did, when “only” is used before a noun it acts as an adjective. There wording implies that not only are they a faceless corporation, but they are also run by humans who are genuinely invested in their jobs.
although you do "drop the ball" on occasion, your channel is still doing wonders. you are starting conversations that other companies who claim to have the same goals as you don't do, and you're genuinely making a better understanding in the world. thank you for existing jubilee
Man I really felt for the director Erin when she started crying at 13:17 and wanted to just give her a huge hug. When you're the perfectionist personality you're your own worst critic and put way more pressure on yourself about your content or work you put out than anyone else does.... We have to learn to give ourselves more grace and recognize the good! I loved this episode and to see the human side of Jubilee ❤️❤️ this keeps the channel feel like we connect with you on a personal level like you're my friend in my head. Great work guys ❤️
I love how Jason truly listened and observed this entire conversation, taking in what his employees are saying. He is such a smart man, props to you and thank you and your staff for making such great content.
The only thing that I think is wrong with this channel is that I personally feel that they don’t have hard enough questions, as in questions that target certain viewpoints and ideas. However, this channel does a very good job in showing and displaying different communities. They should just address controversial topics in communities more often
The majority of their audience cannot handle it. Go look at the most recent spectrum about Adoptees, people lost it at the title. Instead of actually discussing the topic they just whine because they feel triggered or attacked.
@@K.TH-cam2 I couldn't agree more, even with some of the constructive criticism people give like " don't ask wimpy obvious questions" some people take it as " hate speech" like what grow thicker skin, their not being toxic they just want to know what people actually think. I wish they would too but if for some reason one of the participants said something that they don't agree with, they'd probably cut it out. ( and tbh i think they already do this)
I don’t think it’s their job to ask the hard questions. To me, these videos are conversation starters. If you ask two different people on opposite sides of a spectrum really difficult, polarizing questions, you’re going to get an argument. But if you back your way into a topic with general discussion and things both sides can agree or at least empathize with, you’re starting to get the ball rolling. It’s up to the viewers and participants to carry on those conversations in their own lives, not in the video.
Kandice T they were mad about the title not the video, the title had nothing to do with the m video. They could’ve just said do all adoptees think the same
A Polynesian spectrum would be great I like to hear about others peoples cultures. I just like history in general. Also a Native American perspective and how they feel about all their tribes rules or about the little girl who got taken away from her family just because they were not Native American.
it honestly made me sad scrolling through comments on past videos and reading hate comments. You guys are doing something great for this society and not every topic someone wants you guys to cover is going to be possible. For this i just want to say thank you for actually taking time out of your guy’s days to read comments and take things said into consideration
Even though Erin was just awful on set, nobody should've attacked her. I feel so bad for these 25-year-olds, with the weight of almost changing the world on their backs, trying to protect humans while initiating dialogue--it's hard. Thank you so much Jubilee, for doing what you do. Love this channel and the people behind it. xoxoxo
yeah, i always thought it was horrible for people to be attacking erin. i think the “that’s not vegan joke” is still hilarious because it’s kind of funny how much she mentioned it and it’s stereotypical vegan, but the people attacking her and sending death threats is just horrible. it’s the complete opposite of what jubilee is trying to do.
The thing is that to some of the viewers SHE was attacking Brandon, so because she was attacking, there is no reason she herself shouldn't be attacked. Now, this obviously depends on what you count as attacks on her. If it's the personal info being shared and people wishing harm on her, then obviously that is not okay. If it's people making fun of her, calling her names and that kind of stuff than they is okay, She was rude, so there is no reason we can't be rude back to her. Now if she wants to say that they edited the videos out of context and made her look worse than she did then that would be a valid point, but I haven't heard any mention of that. She was a stereotypical "militant vegan/vegetarian" and people like that are not very likeable to the majority of people.
@@YoureRightIThink You don't think she was "attacking" him, but clearly enough viewers thought she was, which is why this whole thing happened and if a good chunk of the viewers thought so, who knows how Brandon felt about it. Yes she was playing a game but why did she constantly pick on Brandon for? You want to stand up and defend her,but you fail to see that many viewers were upset at her behavior towards Brandon and were standing up and defending him. There's been a bunch of these odd man out games, but on none of them did you see the reaction like you saw in this one, why is that? Because nobody else "targeted" one person so hard. Even like say the Beyonce fan one, were some of them were quite rough on some because they weren't as big on Beyonce as others. Also: "even if she was being rude she also doesn't deserve being attacked back". So she's allowed to dish it out but not allowed to take it?
@@Arjay404 I didn't like Erin's behavior at all. She treated Brandon unfairly, and it comes at no surprise that she received backlash.. But this goes so beyond that. She has received numerous pure hate comments and harassment online by thousands of people resulting in her instragram was taken out of the vegan video description and went private very quickly after the release of the episode. People have insulted and threatened Erin on numerous videos. The way some people are treating her is far worse than her treatment of Brandon. She's still human and deserves compassion.
I’ve seen joke-y meme comments about Erin in tons of other videos (hell, even I made a comment on the original video that she should take a vegan chill pill,) but, Christ, I never knew it went as far as people doxxing her. Honestly, if it gets to that point, I think shutting down the comment section is perfectly justifiable.
Sunday Girl I thought she was intense too, and I’m used to people not always being stellar on the Internet, so it shouldn’t be a shock, but I guess it still surprises me a little that people can get *that* worked up over minor issues with people they’ve never met.
That’s pretty awful what kind of response Erin provoked that her life is so negatively impacted from doing FREE work on these new media platforms. These guys are getting paid for your volunteer work, folks. Time is precious and it’s your life. Choose wisely.
Rosel Jackson Stern right! I said the same thing - made me feel kinda bad that she thought more about how many views it would get and not the fact that it would be insightful, informative content
Rosel Jackson Stern yes thank you!! erin is one of the most hard working directors and i’m sure the production of any episode she’s involved in would be amazing 😊💕
DO ALL ARTISTS THINK THE SAME? It would be interesting if you'd take some traditional artists, some digital( more modern) artsits, people that do abtract, people that do realism, or cartoon work. Who work in companies/who freelance etc. I had this discusion in my own academy of arts. I am very modern atists and a lot of those who study there are pretty conservative. They don't view digital art as art. So a discusion like that woud be epic.
Elayna Barrios I won’t comment on her behavior, but just want to say that we work with Brandon every day and he was in no way emotionally harmed in the video. He is still vegan, he didn’t take any of it to heart, and he has no hard feelings from the video. I love that people have fled to his defense, and I can totally see how from the outside looking in it can seem worrisome. Thank you for watching & sticking with us all the same 💛
oml please. NOT HERE. This video isnt completely about Erin, its adressing the toic of hate. they have recieved so much hate so this comment was said on the wrong video and at the wrong time.
“I did the best I can and that wasn’t good enough” that honestly broke my heart. It doesn’t matter how well your videos come out, it’s not always gonna b your fault if it doesn’t do well. All that matters is that you’re trying your best and if doesn’t get the feedback you wanted don’t let it bring you down because I can assure you, you’re doing great.
I couldn’t finish that video. Just a bunch of monsters trying to justify what they did. They all laughed about it too, as if being unfaithful, ruining someone’s sense of trust, and making it difficult for them to ever have a serious relationship again is _funny._
@@immortalsun While I agree but also I think it was important to open that dialogue. Although I feel like the cast in the video wasn't the most representative of all the cheaters out there, but most people would just shut them down if anyone found out they were a cheater. It was interesting to hear what they had to say, at least for me.
When Erin(Jubilee employee) was so hard on herself I kinda teared up myself. That just shows how much they care and how genuine their company is. I have been following jubilee media for a year now and they have grown so much in such little time. The hate you get now and will be getting in the future is inevitable cause you guys are growing. I personally watch your video because you give everyone a voice and you try to show so many perspectives of so many people. I feel you learn with every video you make and that you truly love what you are doing. You guys are genuine and that is why I love you so much. I hope when I am old enough I can come and work for you someday.
Manu Eli yeah I know what you mean, I was born in Australia but my parents were born in Fiji and in Australia most Pacific Islanders are either Maori, Samoan or Tongan. So Fijian culture is always grouped under one of these but our culture is so different in so many ways.
Manu Eli you could say that about any topic they cover, like obviously 5-6 people don’t represent everyone from a general community. They’re just trying to start a dialogue not cover every single issue and person possible, although they’re doing their best to do that
I don't usually comment, but I watch almost every video. Just know that you guys have many many non-vocal supporters! You guys have brought attention to issues that I personally don't experience in my daily life that have helped open up my own perspective. Keep up the great work!
I love the employees of jubilee. They seem very caring and passionate about their job and tbh all the jubilee videos are so amazing. They create a lot of awareness among the people and clear people’s prejudices which isn’t easy. I just feel like they’re doing a great job and deserve to be appreciated.
Serafina Hwang because of the negativity around it, you need to use homosexual in a positive way. They mean the exact same thing, avoiding using it because of the stigma will only increase the stigma.
Please keep the questions asked somewhere on the screen after they're asked. I have ADD and I lose attention a lot, and when I snap back I don't even know what questions you guys are responding to unless I rewind.
Agreed! Just like the names and answers, putting the question above or below really makes a difference. I can't keep track of the discussion for that long without forgetting what the question was about
I feel like Jubilee definitely takes criticism well and applies it. Before, a lot of the middle ground videos and a couple others would be short and cut off topics as soon as it gets interesting, but lately the videos have been longer and include more conversation. good job I love your videos 👍🏻
About Erin: It's a game but she was attacking people to a whole other unnecessary extent and still ended up losing. I like skittles. "THATS NOT VEGAN", I like to eat food. "THATS NOT VEGAN" It was so ridiculous. I dont believe she deserves to be hurt at all. Her personal information shouldve never been put out. I just think she doesnt need to come back anymore. First impressions are everything.
The meme is funny, but threats and personal information are not. It's just not okay. Sharing somebody's address on the internet because you dislike them's not vegan.
but i get why she said that. I'm vegan myself and honestly in this game if someone said they eat things that aren't actually vegan, i'd be suspicious to and honestly then they aren't technically vegan...
saying something is'nt vegan in competition where youre suppose to find out who isnt veagan, is'nt being rude. If was just a game, then get over it. Btw, people deserve second chances. I would love to see her redemption arc
Judge Judy well the comparison’s fair since both platforms are web based journalism outlets, and pointing out that one’s superior to the other isn’t exactly an outrageous violation of moral decency so I don’t see a problem here
Judge Judy there is no competition! But I think they were talking about the difference between the way buzzfeed makes the same kind of content (addressing issues and getting opinions) In buzzfeed videos, there’s usually not a lot of variety of opinions, usually just one. While jubilee tries their best to actually get a spectrum of opinions. They weren’t wrong.
Honestly yah Erin wasn’t the best but I thought all the hate comments on Erin were a meme at this point. Didn’t know people were actually serious about it🤷♂️. Some people are really competitive and who knows maybe she needed the money or else she would have been evicted. Ppl have there reasons let’s al calm down
But she didn't even play the game well, so "maybe she really needed to win" doesn't cut it She wasn't looking for the *liar* , she was looking for the imperfect vegan. She lowered the group's chance of winning by directing their attention to the wrong thing.
I didn't know that people doxed Erin, and I feel really bad. Like reading all the jokes were funny but I didn't realize someone took it to that level. And also, I think the way she played made sense in the context of the gaem .How does she secure herself as definitely vegan and no one suspect her as the meat-eater? By playing aggressive and shifting focus onto other people and calling them out to elevate herself as the vegan in the game. And it worked, because not a single person questioned her about veganism. I think people took it way out of proportion because many people already have a preconceived notion on what a vegan looks and talks like, and in the game, Erin fulfilled the stereotypes., maybe in real life she isn't aggressive but in the game she was and people really took it too far by doxxing her. And by the way... This comment section isn't vegan
Exactly! I've seen people on this channel that are way more rude and I didn't get the hate towards her. Yes she came off as aggressive but how could people not know that it was how she strategized to played the game. Even the guy who was in the episode was not too upset and I'm sure he's over it by now.
I agree doxxing is too far. But I need remind that even in an competitive environment, you still need to be polite. Too aggressive and people will naturally dislike you.
I agree that why I wish Juilbee doesn't do the odd man out videos because they make the sit up for people to stereotype instead of trying to understand.
i agree doxxing her was completely unacceptable, and any other violation of her privacy is included with that, but it is possible to play aggressive without targeting certain people or talking over others. in other episodes, there have been a lot of people who play that 'leader' role who establish themselves as the person in charge without being rude or hunting down people for no genuine reason
At this point, Cut is more comedy relief than Jubilee, I mean, they mostly upload those Dare Pong videos and other similar stuff ( not that I complain though ).
I would love to see a 'behind the making; or something like that for different series that you guys do. Like showing how you make the episodes and pick the casts, I think that would be really interesting!
Hi Jubilee subscribers. Let’s work to make sure we’re giving them plenty of praise as well as constructive criticism. I think as they’ve become bigger we’ve stopped appreciating them as much as we used to, and with more subscribers comes more opinions. Jubilee works so hard for us and try to represent as many groups as possible, so let’s show them our appreciation by being the best subscribers we can be.
this channel has honestly helped me open my mind so much. the pushing of boundaries and addressing such a variety of issues shows how pure your intentions are of the channel. i found this channel probably a month or two ago and it’s already one of my favorites
Please do a video on Polynesians! As someone from New Zealand it’s sad to see how underrepresented they are. It would be so great to see you guys do a video about them!
Why do people keep asking for that? It's already hard for an LA based company to get the outreach and cast members to even somewhat accurately represent many of the groups they have already done. Do you really believe that you'll get an accurate representation of sufferers of anxiety by getting them to come to the studio, go through any paperwork/briefs, have an intensive discussion talking about something so debilitating, and them have that uploaded to TH-cam for millions to see? Anxiety is much more than a label. Very few people with even moderate anxiety would do that.
Taylor Matsunaga 😊❤️ Please give Erin a hug for us and let her know her directorial skills and hard work is always valued! And that we would love an episode on polynesian identity ☺️ Also Taylor from a fellow editor to another (although I work with books), hope you know I’m aware of how grueling your job is, and send you & whole team at Jubilee much love! 💛 I’m based in NY but would love to one day contribute to (or work for) ur organization. Think you guys are a great cause & doing an amazing job 😊
Imma be real with yall, i consider myself a libertarian, and jubilee is one of the few mainstream platforms that even tho they are obviously left leaning, they still dont censor or shy away from right leaning views. They dont try to make one side look bad at all and its one of the reasons i enjoy this channel so much. Keep up the great work yall
This message goes to Erin the director: I am a hard-worker like you. I always feel like I am not doing enough. I suggest that you watch this video. Look at yourself talking and read your name and job title underneath. Would you have that title if you weren't an amazing human being? Someone wise told me that we are human beings and we are not perfect. Only God that many believe in is perfect. You don't need to be perfect. All you need to be is "good enough". You are good enough to be a director. You are good enough to go out there and talk in front of the camera and say those things. You are good enough to make a difference in other people's lives. You are good enough ... and that's all you need to be.
Elise Xuereb I really hope she reads this comment! You are such a supportive and kind person! And even if she doesn’t I hope you know that inspiring artist and others alike are taking this to heart ❤️ (even if it ain’t aimed directly at them)
@@ricexcake143 Thanks so much Addison! You are very kind yourself :) ❤️ I can understand how overwhelming it is to have a lot of work. You ask yourself whether what you're doing is worth or not and I can understand that feeling very much. I wish all the best to you, to Erin and to everyone else who is feeling overwhelmed :) xxxxx
Please DO make a video of Polynesians! We are so under represented and I know a ton of people that would show up. Reach out to Poly Twitter and you’ll find a ton of support.
Yeah! And not only that, but there are definitely other people who would also come to watch and learn about/support polynesian peoples perspectives. I definitely would. I hope they make the video and give y'all some good representation.
Sino Polynesians are Pacific Islanders from the region of Polynesia which is made up of islands in the South Pacific. Think Samoa 🇼🇸, Tonga 🇹🇴, native Hawaiians, etc.
Manu Eli I think if they have actual Polynesians sharing their background in our culture, it will be a positive experience. There’s misrepresentation and then there is no representation at all. I think if we work together to bring awareness, people will be able to learn more of how special our culture is.
You guys (Jubilee) do a great job in producing and creating these videos. I know there’s a lot of thought, energy, money, and resources put out into creating this type of content. These are definitely important conversations and perspectives to hear & witness for many people, and I think the format of these videos are really awesome, innovative, fair, and thought provoking. What I don’t understand is editing and uploading only 10 minutes of content from what looks like a 40-50 minute conversations. I’m sure all of these people had contributed to each question, yet only we get to hear 2 or 3 people at time when answering certain questions within the Spectrum series. And with middle ground, a lot of things get edited out as well. I know you guys have received this feedback in the past, but more that half your viewers would genuinely watch the unedited version, if you put that out. I think it’s great to still have these 10-15 minute long versions out there as well, but since you guys put a lot of effort into these types of videos, I feel like the people who participate in them deserve to not have their opinion shrunk or edited out. Until the video is posted, they probably thought everything they said would be included in the video, only to find out their whole segment got cut off. Again, awesome job creating these series in the first place, but that’s just my feedback as a viewer! 💛
Great channel but I really wish you guys would represent 'diversity of thought' much more in your casting; I understand that you guys are based out of L.A., but a perfect example is the 'Do all Muslims Think Alike?' video. The average Muslim globally is pretty conservative socially and ALL the ones you casted were left-wing liberals (supporting abortion and LGBTQ issues), it really dilutes the conversation. Anyways thanks again for providing great content.
I totally agree, but you have to understand that they cast who they find. I highly doubt someone from South America will go and do a video about Latinos living in a Latin-American country, for example, you know what I mean? They should be more geographically inclusive thus being diverse in what they value na think, but it's very difficult.
I get what you're saying, but they honestly are just working with what they have. there's no way they can get a 'global avg muslim' (or globally avg of anything for that matter) bc they only have one location. maybe if they grow larger as a company and have satellite offices in other parts of the world, this can be more of a reality!
But I think their videos are more about American perspectives. I dont think it was their intention to represent a global muslim view (whatever that means). It was obvious that these were American Muslims.
I also wanted to add in a suggestion: If there's a time you guys start getting stuck on topics, it's okay to make Part 2, 3, etc... just like this video ("Part 2") of a popular topic. :)
Been a subscriber since your skit/short film days, seen you guys transition from that to this type of discussion layout. At first I thought you guys sold out and were taking an easy way out to get money, but the more I watched the more I understood that you guys are the odd ones out. You guys are making real experiences, from real people, into an educational dialogue. Something I feel like you guys did the best out of all the other media companies. You guys asked the hard questions. However, as of recent I’ve seen you guys dip - more cookie cutter and safe content which I believe is the reason for the hate. I think people were mad because they were scared the most “real” media company was turning into Buzzfeed or something. (I myself never hate commented haha). So, It was nice to have a real discussion from the staff about this at this time and see their perspective. This one and the one before was great hope to see y’all continue the great work.
My ex boyfriend was Polynesian, I got so close with his family and they taught me a bunch of sayings and family traditions, being around them also showed me how many misconceptions there are when you tell someone you're Polynesian. I would 💯% watch a spectrum video on that topic.
I'm sorry if it's out of topic, but I have a question. As someone who got really close with their SO's family and is actually considering breaking up with their SO... How do you deal with the break-up and getting rid of the emotional attachments?
"We're not going to watch 2 hours of people chilling" Don't test me. BA has taught us that long-format videos are wholly acceptable if the content is engaging. I love everything about your channel and I want more from each iteration [video]. Give us a cut with minimal time loss alongside your traditional short-cut and see how we react.
You guys(the audience) looked up Erins address and stuff? wtf totally unnecessary but of course i should not be surprised. she was a funny meme no need to become crazy and ish lol.
Finally, someone who agrees that Erin's actions on set were fine. She was trying to win so she had to debunk what they were saying if needed. Like Michael said, its a game.
Even if people didn't like Erin's behaviour, I don't get why people still waste their time bringing her down by making memes, parody videos, etc. It's just toxic and Erin will probably get trolled for the rest of her life, because of one video.
@@dionknight216 looking back at the video she was a bit too much for just a game but I 100% agree. I feel bad that Erin has to deal with people online bullying and being harsher towards her than she was with her peers
I do not understand how people can send hate to a channel like this that is CLEARLY trying so hard- they can't include literally everything everybody in the world wants! That's no reason to create hate, appreciate what you get. They never insult anybody and they try to be unbiased, and they have a huge variety of things they go over. I don't understand the hate... "Oh they didn't include this- didn't include this word..." oh my gosh CHILL- they included TONS of other things! Be grateful you have them at all, even if they don't word things exactly the way you want. To be honest, sometimes I've actually gotten mildly frustrated with how perfect they are. Lol.
So proud of the entire Jubilee staff for being so open about their beliefs, their struggles, and their desires to keep doing good through their media. You're seen, and you're heard, and you're loved. Thank you for continuing to make an impact each week. Your reach stretches farther than you can imagine.

They could’ve just said do all adoptees think the same
I feel like a lot of the time, they don’t know the issue or community enough to ask the hard hitting questions

Even though Erin was just awful on set, nobody should've attacked her.
@@Arjay404 She wasn't attacking anyone and even if she was being rude she also doesn't deserve being attacked back, period

@@clovetteo i guess if shes cool with getting bashed for being rude then keep her. 🤷♀️ it wasnt just a few people that didnt like her is the problem.
saying something is'nt vegan in competition where youre suppose to find out who isnt veagan, is'nt being rude. If was just a game, then get over it. Btw, people deserve second chances. I would love to see her redemption arc
This an actual spectrum, the difference in opinions is great!
Hi
Why do you have to compare in the first place👀cant you just like one without disliking or bringing the other down, or you just cant?🤫
Judge Judy well the comparison’s fair since both platforms are web based journalism outlets, and pointing out that one’s superior to the other isn’t exactly an outrageous violation of moral decency so I don’t see a problem here
@@cruelmilo3132 nobody would've done that if BuzzFeed wasn't actually that terrible
hi this is completely off topic my name is similar to urs lmao mine is bella o’brien
Judge Judy there is no competition! But I think they were talking about the difference between the way buzzfeed makes the same kind of content (addressing issues and getting opinions)
In buzzfeed videos, there’s usually not a lot of variety of opinions, usually just one.
Ppl have there reasons let’s al calm down
joseph reis That’s not vegan
But she didn't even play the game well, so "maybe she really needed to win" doesn't cut it She wasn't looking for the *liar* , she was looking for the imperfect vegan. She lowered the group's chance of winning by directing their attention to the wrong thing.
@@SL-ul3yr yepp
also aren't the erin from the odd one out video and the erin from this video completely different people
True. There were way worse people in their videos. *cough*krisshakerahodan
I can officially say that Jubilee is my current favorite channel now
I didn't know that people doxed Erin, and I feel really bad.
Tevin Lionel I think other people were scared of her, like if they asked her she was going to get them out maybe. Just an idea though
I wish the asked
“I get annoyed when people choose a side before I finish a question” for the spectrum episodes
Jubilee is doing what BuzzFeed failed to do .
Please do more hard hitting, controversial and politically diverse questions in the future, this video was great :)
Do jubilee and cut employees think the same?? .
At this point, Cut is more comedy relief than Jubilee, I mean, they mostly upload those Dare Pong videos and other similar stuff ( not that I complain though ).
This!Yes!!!!++
jubilee & cut are the same company ?
your name no
Used to enjoy watching cut videos but im bored now. They keep doing the same old same old
I would love to see a 'behind the making; or something like that for different series that you guys do.
:) haha this made me smile
this channel has honestly helped me open my mind so much. the pushing of boundaries and addressing such a variety of issues shows how pure your intentions are of the channel. i found this channel probably a month or two ago and it’s already one of my favorites
Please do a video on Polynesians! As someone from New Zealand it’s sad to see how underrepresented they are. It would be so great to see you guys do a video about them!
What is a polynesian?
SwitchBlade VI Polynesians are pacific islanders from the South Pacific.
would like to see more about mental health. Like suicide survivors or menthal health professionals. Or people dealing with anxiety and depression.
Thanks everyone for your encouraging, honest comments. We love y’all. 💛💛💛
Taylor Matsunaga 😊❤️ Please give Erin a hug for us and let her know her directorial skills and hard work is always valued! And that we would love an episode on polynesian identity ☺️
Also Taylor from a fellow editor to another (although I work with books), hope you know I’m aware of how grueling your job is, and send you & whole team at Jubilee much love! 💛 I’m based in NY but would love to one day contribute to (or work for) ur organization. Think you guys are a great cause & doing an amazing job 😊
frecklesandwine 💛💛💛 thank you so much! Appreciate the love & support!! Editors unite!
Ok honestly this community is so genuine and transparent with us its always lovely watching jubilee videos
Ps: omgoosshh 112 likes😱😱
all the employees really feel genuine and I really love how they work so well together even while having different views
This message goes to Erin the director:
I am a hard-worker like you.
Also, has anyone noticed that the say the questions louder now? Well done jubilee for listening to your audience! 👍
Can you please explain what is Polynesians?
Sino Polynesians are Pacific Islanders from the region of Polynesia which is made up of islands in the South Pacific. Think Samoa 🇼🇸, Tonga 🇹🇴, native Hawaiians, etc.
@@noh3987 oh thank you
Manu Eli I think if they have actual Polynesians sharing their background in our culture, it will be a positive experience.
This needs to be the top comment!
I agree, but it's kinda hard to find conservative people in LA, not to mention conservative muslims
Can you do conspiracy theorists vs non conspiracy theorists, but have actual, legit conspiracy people.
yeah like flat earthers. always wanted to know what goes through their mind
Alex jonesss pleasse
They had climate change deniers
oh yes 👏👏
Im not sure if conspiracy theorists identify as conspiracy theorists
I also wanted to add in a suggestion: If there's a time you guys start getting stuck on topics, it's okay to make Part 2, 3, etc... just like this video ("Part 2") of a popular topic. :)
lmaaao when 12:05 lady said the job is "emotionally exhausting" she herself sounded dead tired af 😂😂😂
@@manu-e that's very true you make a good point. I hadn't thought of that.
I'm sorry if it's out of topic, but I have a question. As someone who got really close with their SO's family and is actually considering breaking up with their SO... How do you deal with the break-up and getting rid of the emotional attachments?
"We're not going to watch 2 hours of people chilling"
Don't test me. BA has taught us that long-format videos are wholly acceptable if the content is engaging. I love everything about your channel and I want more from each iteration [video].
Give us a cut with minimal time loss alongside your traditional short-cut and see how we react.
I swear, in every jubilee video I watch...I shed some tears. This channel really teaches me to have empathy and compassion for others.
i’m literally begging you guys to do the episode where everyone is the mole that would be so interesting
