Here' s a little announcement for everyone. Just because someone knows more than one language doesn't mean they need to be perfect and have perfect pronunciation. So stop saying they're terrible, I understand if it's your native language and it doesn't sound right, but don't go saying how terribly they pronounce everything because I highly doubt you would actually say that to their faces. Also if it were you and you are multilingual would you like to be called out for not pronouncing and conjugating every word in your second or third language perfectly?
well... fact of the matter is if they aren't an accurate representation of those nationalitie's languages, fair enough if people are complaining. there's no use in _"pity patting"_ their backs lol. If that lady does a lousy job of making a burger from maccas, I have a right to say it wasn't good; it sucked, even if she's just got a divorce or something. Some would understandably get annoyed at that false implication. edit: a man from India and his accent on the english language. think about that.
I think the consensus is that you can easily make German sound a lot more aggressive than Dutch if so desired, whereas Dutch by default sounds more aggressive due to those throat sounds and use of consonants like the 'G'.
There is a big difference in Dutch from the Netherlands and Dutch from Belgium. Dutch from the Netherlands does have that throat sound especially with the letter "G". Dutch from Belgium, which was KINDA spoken in this video, is a lot softer. Making it less aggressive than German in my opinon.
