That's hilarious hahah. Yeah I know some of my subscribers like catfishing videos so I try to mix some in. No gonna lie everyone wants to go out and catch rocks, but I enjoy eating spot and perch way more. To each their own

@@ZephyrFishing I agree. I enjoy eating those as well. Large croakers and king fish too. I was pleasantly surprise how tasty they are. I once caught over 30 and filleted them all and brought them home.
Croaker are very sweet and delicious. Both fish are extremely boney that's for sure

What pound line did you use? I'm surprised you're just lifting these cats without a net 👀
I run 30lb on all my rods. Thin enough to get away with casting far but strong enough to get off snags as well

@@AyoFayo the current was ripping that day. But I think a 1oz would hold fine on a normal day. Definitely needed a 2oz+ that day. Also I was throwing against the current too which doesn't help

@@ZephyrFishing Cool. I just went fishing today at Kings Landing Park, and I did use cut up spot from another location that we went to, and then some squid. Ended the day with 6 nice sized channel cats after about 3 hours of being there.
