- Lost my drone due to poor signal, but also my mistake of having my camera axis too low and thinking I was clear. Please help me get another drone. My Venmo is billy-vu. Overall the fishing here is hit or miss just like Point Lookout. The Jumbo spot are definitely here end of Aug-Sept, best if you have a boat. This place gets packed and you will get your lines crossed and snagged. Last tip is to buy bait from the Walmart before the island. They sell bloodworms for the low. Save money live better Walmart.

Went there today. Nothing biting from the pier but my buddy took his jet ski out and came back with some nice spot. Thanks for the content.
It's not just you. I was just in Florida it was extremely bad. Decided to leave and pit stop in NC, but called ahead to make sure something was biting. 3 piers I wanted to go to said ot was bad. So I stopped at va beach for a break at the inlet no one was hooking up on anything. 3 small croaker over an hour. Now you sealed the deal in MD. All along the east coast had been bad. It's definitely the storm that is causing this

I live right down the road from there I've never gotten snagged but it's usually pretty dead down there I usually go at night time to save myself from the Sun.

I’ve actually heard that oyster toadfish are good eating, so long as you remove the venomous dorsal spikes. Apparently, these fish have great white meat on them. As for the Northern pufferfish, they’re also a delicacy in the Chesapeake. Another name for them is “sugar toads”.
Ive eaten northern puffers. But toadfish havent yet personally. Haven't gotten to that point yet where I skunked and was in dire need of dinner 😅
Well, they call sea robin “poor man’s lobster”, so I’m willing to try an oyster toad. From what I researched, the texture on these fish is similar to cod, whiting or kingfish.

Don’t pull if the fish have you wrapped up around something. Lots of times if u let the line go slack they will swim back around the snag/piling/structure.
Knowing solomons there's a billion snags so it most likely caught multiple lines down there. But I'll give it a try next time 🙏
With the amount of people fishing, perfect weather, and the near empty parking lot; what does that tell you if its a good place to catch fish. I never had any good luck here fishing.
More so good for crabbing. Definitely good fishing just gotta know what you're doing

Great crabbing too get you a net. They love to hide on the plyings. I would try to go to the right side too less snags out that way if you do go

At the end on that website u we’re looking at tide and pressure can you do a video on what to look for. I’m not from this area and can’t find anything on how that plays into fishing
In the winter when im less likely to be able to fish I can. But in general when the current is moving fish tend to feed. Theyre more oxygenated. As for pressure, less pressure from gravity (the moon) will allow their belly to expand and become more likely to feed and vice versa. That's why when you see alot of fisherman say rain is when they bite. It's true because when it rains it's a low pressure system

I would just call a local bait shop near by to see what's hot. SB probably have moved north to NY now im sure some smaller one are lingering. Same as blues.

Blood probably $17-22 depending where you go lugs $15~

What baitfeeder reel do you recommend?
Okuma, daiwa, Shimano and penn are the only brands that have baitfeeders or live liner reels. I have okuma but if money permitting I would get Shimano. JDM everything 👌

Jumbo spot in Solomons til end of this month. I like lugworms same thing as bloodworms and cheaper. Glad I found them since bloods were out of stock everywhere. Bring chicken lines. The crabs are much heavier now that the weather is cooling
