Catch More Fish At Fishing Piers! | (Chesapeake Bay Fishing)

Welcome back to the channel! In today's video I am going to show you how to catch plenty of fish at piers without trying to cats baits farther out than anyone else. In fact, all you need is a light tackle set up and some small jigs to be catching fish in no time. I planned to catch some white perch in this video but it turned out that small puppy drum had moved into the area in force. I am not complaining because they are a cool fish that fights hard. Came accross your videos when a friend who moved here in MD wanted to know where to go fishing and crabbing. Told her I use to kayak and fish at sandy point, mattawomen and severn river for different types of fish. I am so thankful someone in our state is showing videos. These work! Thanks for the tip! I rigged up a few of the white and chartreuse combos last night for use on Chase Creek off the Severn River today. It was pretty slow, but I did catch 3 nice perch on it.

Great video, very cool to see so many puppy drum around. I haven't caught any off this pier yet but I've caught plenty around the corner in the West River. Might have to go down to the piers one morning and give this a try, I'll say hey if I see you down there
