I just want to say again how well done these videos are and well edited so that we aren't watching you so a seam for 20 minutes. I get so much inspiration from just walking through your shop with you. I just ordered more fabric and it gave me an idea. I would like to see a segment called Ask Matt and Ask him to match up a jelly roll with background and edging fabrics that he thinks go well together. It could be directed toward a certain pattern and then maybe Donna could make it up, or her version of it. It is hard to be sure you're picking out a good coordinating match online and since he is in the middle of these fabrics all the time and knows them so well he would probably walk right over to the thing that would go with it. Just an idea.

I LOVE the colors in this quilt! I plan to make a quilt for our bed using the Carpenter's Square pattern and using browns, turquoise's, and not sure what others yet 🤔
I agree! I love Donna’s tutorials! I watch her and take notes 😂 She is a GREAT teacher. I have been sewing for over 40 years but I still learn a lot from Donna. I’d also like to give kudos to her cameraman and editor, which I believe she has said is her son or son-in-law, because he does excellent work as well!
What I love about watching you, Donna, is that even when (infrequently) think “yukky” when I see your fabric choices, I invariably fall in love with the finished quilt! You are teaching me to stop being judgemental and to see potential when it is staring me in the face 🙏
I've had the same experience as so many times I've thought....no, but then I see how wrong I was when she creates something beautiful. I feel myself growing with every video where that happens. Quilting rules!

I always enjoy watching a complicated quilt become easy to make. When I first saw all those triangles, I thought "Oh nooooo," not for me. But it was actually very simple. BTW, I love your sweater. We don't have many sweater choices in our southern stores, even in the northern part of Florida, and I love the hand-knit look and warm colors. Thanks for a great surprise video this morning.

Another quilt I would love to make (I have several from your tutorials ready to work on), but my last time using the strip tube ruler we could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Your staff is phenomenal and tried so hard but we just couldn’t figure out what I was doing incorrectly. I love the colors on the one you made more than the one on the pattern. Keep the videos coming. I love them and will continue shopping your site for the next project.

I love the colors you chose! One of my favorite Bali Pops (from long ago) was Brown Sugar that also had browns and blues. This is beautiful.
I love watching your tutorials and enjoying your teaching style. I just wish you would start choosing some newer patterns. I don’t know if Cozy Quilt Co is still in business but I haven’t seen any new patterns from them since COVID. They did the lockdown sew along and I haven’t seen a video or heard anything about them since. You’ve made all their great patterns and I don’t care for these older ones. There’s so many other ones you could choose that would be awesome! I wish you would try a weekly or monthly sew along or BOM. That would be something new to try. I’m sure a ton of people would participate. Thanks for great tutorials.

There are lots of online fabric shops in the UK- Doughtys are good as are sew Hot etc. If you can do it it good to go to shows e.g. NEC

I I love this quilt and the colors you chose! What I love even more is how you are always teaching us by explaining WHY on so many steps in the creation of the quilt. You are an amazing teacher, and so generous with your time.
The finished quilt is stunning as Donna makes it, and I love the colours and especially the turquoise inner border, BUT the original design has that inner border the same colour as the square centre, and I think that “ties them together”. Changing it gives a “blank” centre, which IMO is a bit off-putting since this is kind of a ‘medallion’ quilt making a feature of the centre…? I don’t know how you’d avoid it, though… Great tutorial as always, Donna - please keep them coming !
