    Donna, You have inspired me and tutored me over the last 2 years or so. So thank you for ALL your efforts, continuing to produce these wonderful videos for us all to enjoy. I've enjoyed buying numerous patterns from you and one runner kit as well...my 1st ever log cabin design. Your fabric choices are stellar. I only wish I had a stash like yours. 💕

      The stars one that Donna did very recently , also Cozy Quilts, is one of my favourites . I've made it twice to use up left over jelly roll strips for my charity quilts. Even better was the fact that Jordan Fabrics offered pdf version so buying from the UK wasn't expensive. Love these inspirational videos.

    Hi Donna! Wow you are so fast and so Amazing! I love this quit and am hoping to start sewing again real soon. I’ve had 5 back surgeries that have just left me in so much pain it hurts yo sit more than 30 minutes but with God’s help I’m hoping to get three quilts done this summer. That you so much for showing another great quilt!! You make it look so easy!

    Fun pattern! I often use any extra strips for part of the binding.

    • @wendywilson1736
      @wendywilson1736 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same here. I did use extra blocks on the back for my nephew and lovely wife's quilt, once, though. Joanne fabrics took it upon themselves to use the extra piece off the bolt of green, and included that in my yardage instead of giving me one whole piece. I washed&dried it before I noticed the difference, so I sewed the extra blocks in a row, and put it between the pieces.
      While it wasn't critical on this quilt with batiks, and casual earthy style, it still irritated me that that store clerk would be so assuming I would accept that substitution. I did not notice it till after I washed them, then of course they would not refund me. I took my quilt related business to my local quiltshop, and my papercrafting to HobbyLobby.
      I'm sure Jordan Fabrics would Never just assume someone would be okay with two separate pieces, that could be in different dye lots.

    I have the perfect jelly roll for this. It is shades of dusty blues, greens and grays in flannel. I have been looking for a pattern to use for this jelly roll and this is IT for sure. I have been looking for several months but just had not seen exactly what I want, but this will be perfect. Especially since I only have 40 strips in this jelly roll. So many of them you need all 42. Sure any jelly roll will work for sure and I have some really colorful ones……Kaffe Fassett designer ones that will really be wonderful pops of color that will be great as well. This one might even be easy enough to quilt using End-to-End Quilting using my embroidery machine. Love this one. Thanks Donna for sharing this one. Another one that you have hit out of the park! And thank you to Daniella for this amazingly simple design! So simple but perfect! Love the design element on the back, too Donna. I have done this as well when I have left over strips. Really brings the whole quilt together.

    I took up quilting a year ago and I've learned so much from this channel. I think it would be so cool to see a time lapse of the long arm working through a whole quilt. It would also be so cool to see a video where you put the amount of time you worked on a quilt, formatted the same way you do your current videos just with a time in the corner to give people an idea just how long this whole process takes!

    I love this pattern, especially no seams to match!

    Great show. I am a rank armature at quilting. I have done 4 quilts two all by hand . I have started using a machine for the last two quilting the third by hand. I am deciding how to quilt the fourth now. I really like your colors. I think I will watch again. Thanks
