Glad you like the shorter gearing and Type R final drive. Fenton reviewed my red 92 with the gears and final drive with the 360 Modena back in January. He could hardly wait to get the gears in his car. Getting his mode transforms the car. Glad I had mine done and have a smile every time I drive it.
I'd argue the Cayman S is the spiritual successor to the NSX. Same weight and hp but with 40 more torque and brembos. Even has the same too tall gear ratio issue.
I owned both 987.1 S and NSX at the same time. They are actually very different cars. On paper they are similar (NA mid mounted 6cyl, long gearing, similar power and weight) but the Cayman's strut suspension, sloppy shifter, much higher seating position, less special cabin design etc make it feel a lot more pedestrian than the NSX. I'd argue that a Lotus Evora is much closer in ethos, though its engine is still much less special.
Agreed with Zypapi. I would add the Emira is more similar to the NSX than the Evora even. Curious to hear if he agrees after getting behind the wheel of mine
Great drive and talk. You and the other major head cam/POV car reviewers (guy in Michigan with the FL5, Ranger Raptor, etc., his buddy, etc.) sound so much alike, from inflection to pace. It’s wild. Polished and professional for sure… just so similar, haha.
So glad he kept it!
If he ever sells it let me know lol

Very different....nsx is much more analog :D !!
@@RideTheLifeQcwell then, 987.2 or .1 cayman is plenty analog.

The highest of compliments although he has a much smoother voice than mine
Awesome video, love the NSX
Crazy he didn't just replace the synchros while he was having the short gears put in. That should be a no brainer.
Love this car, epitome of perfection. And reminds of those good old 90s when everything amazing came out of Japan.
I drive my GR circuit to Las Vegas. You in town?
Yes. Jubbalandcars.com and fill out the form. I’ll be in touch
@@jubbalandcars. Submitted. I’ll be in town for another week possibly. Depends on if I bust out of the wsop main event. 👍🏼
Nice
Nice. 😂
🙃
Really like this channel man. Watched all your videos on the s2k as I think I’ve decided that’s what I’m gonna get and the vids were a big help
Happy to hear it my guy
