Almost bought one but the 50 hp we lose thanks to EU emissions and the fact i can't get the handling package in germany bothers me too much. I'll proably go for an e92 m3 overall but i really like the Dark Horse... A new Manual V8 in 2024 is actually quite impressive. Thanks for that, Ford!

yes its possible and its easy haha, no sensor like german car, you cut you remplace and go no need to remap too. for the 500hp map you have better time to purshace USA map tools like the steeda one and you have even more 500hp :) (i dont remap because here in switzerland you loss the 3 years warranti or 100 000km warranti so i wait on that)

Really respectable by Ford that they even bothered with all the EU regulations to bring this thing to Europe. Sounds good, looks good, and the price is incredible for a modern V8.
@@ydkma because they are way faster and refined. The Ford lives from the looks and its sound. In all other ways the Eurocars are much superior. More comfortable while being way faster and even consume less gas. In case of a comparable Bmw, way more power potential too. You can get a TUV approved, completely legal Stage 2 G80 that runs 100-200 in the low 6s to high 5s. To get a Mustang to that speed you gotta get highly illegal.
These cars are dying. NA engine with a ''GOOD'' manual transmission and RWD. We're gonna miss these cars, but im so happy a couple of manufactures still making these
Nice to see what a tuned Mustang GT (Coyote Gen 2) from 2015 is able to do and what a new EU Dark Hose is able to do. Full FBOs and Cams made legal 533 HP, is also 2,5 seconds faster than the new Dark Horse from 100-200 and it is still way more cheaper. Thanks to stupid politics from Brüssel. Beautiful car anyway, love it!
Everyone else has no problem clocking mid-12s for the Mustang Dark Horse with the Tremec trans. While others get 12 flat with the 10 speed. No way the Dark Horse runs in the 13s in the quarter mile. Bad clock, or bad driving, or something's wrong with the car.

I was wondering if i should get A M2 G87 or a Dark Horse (or something else) soon. The lose on power and the "bad" performance on the EU version bugs me lot and drives me towards the M2. But seeing the emotion of the awesome coyote V8 sound, the perfect Tremec transmission, the Drift Brake makes me wonder if the M2 could be a bit boring in comparison, despite its awesome performance.
That s because he s launching it a +5,000 RPM. Way too much torque to avoid spinning the wheels. A Mustang should be launcher around 2K or 2.5K RPM max and the 0 to 100 will be much better!

My German diesel had less power & hit 60mph almost a second quicker than that ‘stang. Thats the benefit of 4wd I guess,It would’ve nailed mine if it could get traction & does sound nicer though

5.2 is not very fast for that amount of power. Rwd Alfa Romeo Giulia with 280hp can do these numbers. But cood Mustang for sure, although I would take Bullit Mustang of previous gen
Drove one of these two weeks ago. Take away: the good, it sounds amazing, manual is a stack of fun to drive…….the bad, interior is cheap and nasty it’s feels like a 10 year old plus car, dash is god awful with those two huge screens. Overall the dark horse is a bit of fun, but a let down overall for what is possibly the last of the V8’s.
I don't understand car manufacturers implementing analog needles style on their digital counter. If they love them so much just put REAL needles or replace them with an innovative design for the numeric cluster.
Cost. Easier to nail a cheap commodity LCD screen to the dashboard than get a bespoke gauge cluster designed and manufacturered. Then market it as some kind of major advancement in in-car tech, job done.

That gear 6 is really a rev dropper, It is a cruising gear. The way it dropped revs from 7k rmp to 4.5k at 254 kph 🎉🎉
for the predecessor model there was an upgrade in the gear ratio so that the speed does not drop so much...should actually be possible here too
