Seen a red one on the street yesterday and boy oh boy does this car stand out, actually made me sit up, wind my window down to listen and take notice "is that the new stang?, wait is that the DARK HORSE!?". The fact that it comes with 6MT, hand brake, forged bottom end and Ford has a 800hp+ bolt on whipple kit for 10k or Evolution 1,000hp+ stage 2 upgrade is petrol head heaven.
I am a proud owner of 2007 Mustang GT Manuel , I love it with all my Heart, and huge respect to Ford to keep on making Manuel V8 !! I always say there is so much more to a car than just speed and how fast it can go ,and Mustangs have always been such a nice Car to daily drive ,I could never imagine my self or any other people that own V8 Mustangs to drive boring EV or other soulless Cars , mine is sadly 17 years old and closing to 120 000km I wish I could make it last forever

That's superlong sixth gear is to circumvent the gazz guzzler tax right? IIRC the regulation has a test in the highest gear. So I assume it still a thing.
really stupid question i hoped you could answer to me. I am trying to test my cars top speed and i don’t use the kick down in the gas pedal just press it to the stop point should i also continue pressing until kick down mode?(automatic)
@@andrebatista2399yes and no…. Even my daily driver gets single digits mpg normally but when I drive 14-16 hours (each way) back home for holidays I don’t mind sitting in overdrive gears and getting better mileage.

I love the 7th gen Mustang, but the EU spec has been really toned down. We can only choose black interior, Dark Horse is not available with Handling package and most have that small wing that Ford never said nothing about, GT California Special only in convertible, and here in Spain, we can't get the Dark Horse in Blue Ember. And let's not forget how detuned it is (around 50 hp less) because EU regulations and that the ECUs are locked, so we can take the performance back.

As a non-native German, but a Pole with Polish license plates on my car, i've never been checked by the german police in the last year of driving here, while in my country i am checked at least a few times a year. I feel like the german police actually only stops people if they have a genuine reason to, so that's pretty cool. :)
If we're counting the older ones too, I prefer the '13 and '14 Mustang. The C6 from the Vettes. I would really love to own a V8 someday before I can't anymore... I'm 18 now, sooo the time may not be on my side. Would be ironic if I work as an electrical engineer with electric car chargers and drove a V8 (wouldn't it?)

The top gear ratio spreads have always been atrocious. 1:1 then 0.7:1 or worse. Car should be able to touch 180mph with that hp and the mediocre aerodynamics

It’s called an Overdrive. It’s great for the autobahn.
Try reaching a top speed in 5th gear, instead of 6th, which is for cruising only.

You can press it beyond the kick down point just to be sure, but I don't think it matters.
Can you turn off those annoying "spinning Mustang" animations ? I am not a 12-year old, and those animations also slow the User Interface.

I think the reason is because gasoline in the USA has less octanes, but in the case of this car in Europe is due to emissions.
