I bought a Vita-Mix blender after reading a few books about green smoothies. I only used it a few times because I made my green smoothies and they kept turning out the way you described during the first half of the video. Thank you so much for explaining what I was doing wrong because I had no idea! I am so excited to try and make them the right way! Thank you!

I just saw your video on how to get children to eat healthy. My LO has been on green smoothies since 6 months old and fights with me for it at 17 months. But I still learnt SO much from you. Thank you! Sharing it with all my mom friends. And clearly, what you're eating/doing is amazing... Look at you. You are amazing! I hope I can raise my child to be as mindful, aware and beautiful as you are. Thanks again sweetie. I just found a whole new approach on parenting through you.

The seeds are insoluble fiber, every fruit is going to be mixed. It is the creamy fruits that will make the smoothie smooth.

Thanks, good video. Nicely explained about the different types of fiber. I make fairly sweet smoothies with different types of fruit. Almond milk base. I share some with my wife. Then when she has taken as much as she wants, I make the smoothie green with a pile of greens, like collard, kale, spinach etc.

If you add lemon and a piece of root ginger, in every smoothie, then they will never taste bad , whatever combination you put in. Good video well done!

I don't comment a lot on TH-cam videos, but just wanted to say you're doing a great job at explaining everything clearly and nice and I really appreciate the tip. Just bought a blender and I'm experiencing all sorts of smoothies, and adding fruit to green smoothies is such a great idea and of course it's very healthy. Thank you and keep going with these videos, you're great!

Green Smoothies are excellent! It was only after I began eating green smoothies that I realised I had been malnourished all my life. Green smoothies filled the nutritional deficit, relieved my constant hurting hunger, and left my stomach feeling like it was smiling, like I had fed it exactly what it needed and was hungry for. My health improved, more energy, better brain function, I stopped feeling hungry, so I stopped overeating foods that were not filling a nutritional deficit. :-)

+Heather Smith sounds like you just got lazier without even making an effort. BlisssTo make you even lazier still, you can always put the blender in the fridge so you don't have to wash it all the time. And if smoothies still slaving you, you could always buy innocent smoothie, butt the best part is I can drink it for you, to save you the hassle of digestion.Who needs a friend in need when you can have a friend indeed.

@aRawLifestyle hmm I didn't notice that before..so she basically made a thick juice. I find without water this stuff often does not blend right or is thick and yucky.
It seemed in her mom's book green smoothie revolution most of the recipes have about 2 cups of water in them. Well I will try adding greens and fruits with little to no water in my vitamix and see what happens.
thanks for the reply and observation:)
