Oy when newbies to this act like it's the answer to everything. A gallon of water daily is absurd and can actually cause electrolyte imbalance. Green smoothies are not a panacea. It's fruit and salad you drink, lol. We've already been ingesting fruit and salad. I practically lived on green smoothies 20 years ago. Did nothing for me.

Well, a gallon of water a day can be too much!. I drink about 2 quarts a day. The formula I have used is to drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces every day. If you are very active and sweat I would add another quart.
I have found a recipe for the best green smoothie ever: 1 small organic head of romaine lettuce, 1 small zucchini or cucumber peeled, 1 cup of frozen banana or mango, 1 handful coriander, 1 handful fresh mint, 1 small red apple peeled, 1/2 lemon peeled and 1 cup organic coconut beverage to blend :D This one has worked wonders for me personally. Try it, it’s the best breakfast ever!!
I think I am healed(in 7 days). Will confirm with blood tests. I was diagnosed with RA after COVID vaccination (coincidence??). There is no RA in the family and never had anything of this sort before. It all started with fingers and other joints making popping sounds. Then started feeling pain in fingers and also had a trigger thumb. Had symptomatic pain in elbows and shoulder joints. Had Plantar fasciitis. I saw my body starting to deteriorate rapidly. I was terribly afraid. Did hours of research in the net. I learnt about healing powers of fasting and diet. First attempt: I tried water fasting for 5 days few months ago. The results were remarkable. Trigger thumb, finger pains and shoulder/elbow pains were gone. Headache was gone. I was back on my vegan diet(I am a lifelong vegetarian and an intermittent vegan...) Unfortunately, I like snacking :) I enjoyed few fried items "everyday". Big mistake. All symptoms came back, except for trigger thumb. It was painful for me to lift my shoulders above my head again(I was able to, but with some pain). Finger(s) pain came back. Second attempt: Immediately after, I started taking proteolytic enzyme(amazon), moringa capsules(amazon), ginger powder(homemade). Took only green smoothie with fruits for 3 days with plenty of water and 0.5 cup flax seed/chia seed (Dr Goldner recommendation). Followed with only raw salad, fruits for 4 days. My everyday cluster headache is COMPLETELY gone(I was taking excedrin almost everyday). My shoulder(s)/elbow pain gone....My fingers are 90% better and it continues to heal. There is a mild discomfort(fingers) in the morning for just 1 minute, which I am sure will be gone in 10days max. There is no more body ache. I sleep like a log. I have so much energy during the day. Feeling liberated....Unbelievable!!!! I was/am able to do the above with complete faith in the infinte almighty. Current experiment: I am starting to include one food at a time to see how my body reacts to each food, so I will know what I can include/exclude. Slowly, I shall see what happens if I stop proteolytic enzyme also. I don't want to be dependent on supplements or any medications. I am looking at making my food as medicine. I hope the above details will be of some help to people who are looking for a cure. Trust me, this solution is very simple and doable. There is no complexity at all in this. If I can do it, anyone can. You all will be MOST DEFINITELY healed.
People who need this won’t listen unless they’re desperate for help . I have done this green juice since the seventies. Everything green with a lemon and ginger !
Kale ,spinach, celery, cucumber, if I have bitter melon, green apple or green grapes . I also add the following I know ginger is brown and lemon is yellow but it makes my green juice a nutrient dense with lots of anti oxidants. I drink this almost every day except when in such a rush.
Yes you should chew your smoothie, there’s a lot of studies that show chewing not only breaks the food down into smaller particles to make it easier to digest, but it sends a signal to your brain and stomach to start production of proper digestive enzymes, which help you get more nutrition from what you eat..even smoothies.. basically the more you chew your food the more nutrients you are able to get out of them.
@@sl4983 The only thing missing would be the saliva. The Vitamix definitely does a MUCH better job of pulverizing plant cell membranes than chewing does.
@@aecc035791 Not sure why my comment keeps getting deleted, but overall it helps improve the conversion and activation of various antioxidant compounds (maybe the names of the compounds are setting off the delete bot, because they are also useful for covid...). 🙂 I started drinking Green Smoothies around 16 years ago. They were fabulous during the time I was clearing from plaque psoriasis. Also gave me loads of energy and a lovely clear complexion. My fruit of choice is either blueberries (low sugar for dieters), papaya or banana. Liquid is either water or coconut water. Spinach or lettuce for the greens. Occasionally add some of the coconut flesh, or avocado. I find kale too mind blowing and have to avoid it - but maybe will try again.
@@ritesharora6032 . When I was clearing psoriasis, I drank them every morning for breakfast. These days I have them less frequently, as I prefer juicing to smoothies.
@@JoudanJanaiHa . I prefer juicing, as the nutritional benefits are more superior and work faster than smoothies for my particular health issues. When I said "mind blowing", I simply meant the strong taste of kale in a smoothie was very overwhelming and intense, and I found it a taste challenge in a smoothie (I can juice it, no problems).
I don’t think so, I had hypothyroid issue and my thyroid was better with the smoothies as it reduces inflammation of thyroid and starts functioning better. Don’t forget to be well hydrated when taking green smoothies.
@@anitfern You're lucky. I have an undiagnosed thyroid condition where it has sharp pains and heat in that area, and any cruciferous veggies makes it worse, raw or cooked. Raw is worse though. I also cant supplement iodine without severe side effects so I dont know what to do about it.

I have always heard raw cruciferous vegetables are a big no no because of something in them that negatively affects the thyroid. I tried these smoothies for a month hoping to help with psoriatic arthritis and got zero relief 😢. Every body is different though and I've learned that what helps some does not help others.
Dr. Eric Bakker naturopath said to eat kale steamed. That’s how it was always eaten in the past. Kale was cooked. Putting kale in smoothies raw like that is a new thing.
Vegetables are good but not everyone's digestive system can digest raw veggies especially during the winter. Consume too much of a good thing can be bad also; cruciferous vegetables can interfere with our thyroid if we're low on it. The main key to eliminate processed food. Looking back, I now learn brown rice is bad for my digestive system. I was on that band wagon for over twenty years. In many Asian traditions, cabbage is not meant to consume raw. My mom boiled it and served with fermented soybean. This is why we ferment it such as Napa cabbage. In addition to a healthy diet, we need to laugh a lot more, play more, get enough sleep, cultivate a loving supportive community, and an optimistic & peaceful mindset. Diet is very subjective and not the main factor that determine wellness, it's based also on our culture and how we are raised. There are people who have extremely unhealthy habits but they thrive. Both George Burns and Bob Hope didn't die until they were 100 years old and both were comedians. By the way, George Burns smoked.
it's true. it's all a personal discovery journey :). experimenting with what does what for our bodies, noticing the effects, and getting to know our own sacred body and what it's trying to tell us 🤗
Yes, however, many times people are unsure of what exactly their bodies need or what exactly is happening to them. That's why they look to experts and people who have resolved their health issues.
@@peace8096 Before labeling someone as an expert, find out how many years of professional experience they have in nutrition. BTW, Western doctors are only required three to six units of nutrition according to Dr. Robert S. Mendelson Plus, a different body type has a different constitution. In Asian culture, we don't often consume raw especially during the winter. I only found out when I arrived in America. We consume warm cooked foods. Over consumption is bad for those with thyroid. I didn't grow up with any microwave food until I arrive in the U.S. In Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don't consume raw food! A human body is very complex because we embody three parts: mind, body, and spirit. We are not going to get any healthier if we eat a healthy diet but are constantly under stress. I can attest to it. This is where Western medicine fails to address. Western medicine treats the symptom but not the cause. Western medicine are reductionistic.
@@t.h.nguyen5193 I agree with you, especially the mental part of kt. but you still fail to understand me. There are people who are unaware of what is happening to their bodies and the only way to get help is through medical experts (it doesn't matter if you think they're an expert or not, they're the ones doing the tests and prescribing medicines, and tests). Not everyone thinks like you, there are people who look up to doctors as experts and that is where they get their info from.

I used to eat a big smoothee every day with spinach, kale, almonds, flax seeds, etc because I thought it was really good for me. Then I started getting painful kidney stones, and didn't know that most of those ingredients are high in oxalate acid which form kidney stones. I don't know how long this post will stay on here before it gets deleted, but if one person gets helped from this, it will be worth it.
It wasn't the green smoothies. It was the particular ingredients in the green smoothie that you were eating that had too many oxalatein them. Spinach is super high in oxalates and should be eaten sparingly. It would be better to tell people to be aware that some greens like spinach are high in oxalates. That's all that needed to be done. Hi, Id suggest to start small first and trail and error. Keeping journal is helpful. Try a 300-400 ml glass daily .. you can alternate different ingredients. No need to be extreme with quantities. Approach the amounts just as you would put it on a plate. Scoop doesnt indicate the amount. One or 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds is ok..can use cucumber part cooked green peas parsley..as more ideas to combine. I like to add some banana for the sweetness and texture. Hope this helps.

Look up Maria Emmerich and Dr Ken Berry. Some people can't tolerate vegetables because of plant toxins. Not everyone, but some. They thrive on meat and protein, especially grass-fed. Red meat has more vitamins and nutrients as well as all the amino acids. Protein is needed especially as we age for our muscles, bones, skin, hair, and general well-being. It's very interesting. It depends on who you listen to, we need to educate ourselves and not follow one group blindly but listen to both sides of the story and then draw our conclusions and do what's best for us.
Leafy greens are a doctor’s favorite food. We keep advising our patients to have them. Your smoothie is a great option too along with green essentials by Planet Ayurveda.
Thank you for this. I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and I'm making these big changes. I absolutely love veggies in any form so I won't have any problems.
How has it worked out for you? I'd say you're no better I expect. I have PSA - psoriatic arthritis for 30 years. I've been on steriods, anti inflammorties, etc. Was offered Humira but turned it down and decided to research myself. Took me 10 years of trial and error. Went veg based, with chicken an fruit, smoothies, etc dropped red meat and got sicker. I then found Paleo and improved which led me to Keto where I got even better and then finally Carnivore. I've gone full carnivore last 18 moths and have got rid of all my psoriasis and have no joint pain and the transformation has been remarkable. My advice is to avoid grains, dairy, sugar, fruit and veg.
I make green smoothies as kale , baby chard , spinach , bananas , strawberries 🍓, blueberries 🫐, apples 🍎, cranberries, almond milk, carrots 🥕, turmeric, pre probiotics, zinc, magnesium . I drink them after meals . I make a big jar I can finish it in 3 days so saving time not making daily
I used to put 3 tablespoons of whole organic flax seeds in my green smoothie every day and even added sea moss because my imega 3to 6 ratio wasnt budging over to a high omega 3 I added a can of sardines in water to my dauly regime for a mong and WALLA! my omega 3's shot up haven't looked back since replaced plant based imega 3 sources with sardines.
It could be because of the omega 6. Your body stores omega 6. So although you have fixes it you will have other problems such as saturates fat, cholesterol, PCBs Mercury, Dioxins, microplastics from the ocean plus the ocean is currently dying. Safer way and kinder to the ocean too is algae derived vegan omega 3. But tbvh, when I was healing myself I did way more than 3 tbsps, I did half a cup of mixed chia and flax. You could also contact Dr Brooke for advice. Just saying cos eating fish sadly is not the answer for long term. Good luck. P.s. if you are healing from something hyper nourishing won't be enough. You may need to ramp it up a level to her Rapid Recovery protocol. Her FB page is full of testimonials. It works!! I reversed subclinical hypothyroidism via this Dr.
Canned sardines are very highly heated. There will be some degradation of the omega-3 fatty acids, plus the metals, PCBs, etc. will be in there, too. At least sardines are a smaller fish, not a predatory fish with more bioaccumulation of toxins. I would avoid Pacific Ocean fish due to Fukushima, etc. It is tough to get imported frozen Spanish sardines so they can be cooked more gently. The body's conversion of ALA in flax/chia to EPA/DHA improves when omega-6 is low. The 3:6 ratio has to be raised.
Did I read this right? You added a can of sardines to a smoothie - surely not - sounds repulsive. I take fish oil in the smoothie, which thankfully can hardly taste.
Have you tried this green smoothie yet?

OMG. This video can and will save lives! I’m listening over and over again. Thank you. A pound of raw greens a day, a gallon of water a day and omega 3s!!!!! 🙏🏽❤️🍀
It does work however you can't eat much of anything but raw veggies and salads. I did it for 9 months but couldn't keep it up
@@kirsten1007 It's not as hard as you make it out to be. The smoothies alone has a lot of nutrition and it tastes really good so that's easy. That's one meal right there and if the other 2 meals have healthy carbs, vegetables, beans, and fruit made in such a way to make them taste good then it will be delicious and easy to follow. You don't have to eat just raw veggies and salads.
@@kirsten1007 you dont have to stick to raw all your life. Once you feel better then you introduce cooked starches, veggies and such like . A WFPB diet is proven to be the healthiest. The protocol is an accelerator to optimal health.
Well, a gallon of water a day can be too much!. I drink about 2 quarts a day. The formula I have used is to drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces every day. If you are very active and
sweat I would add another quart.
Were you working on something in particular? How did it help you?
To fight inflammation, we should restore our gut lining by cruciferes and probiotics also minimize sugar and gluten as possible.
Best green juice in the world literally is the Mexican green juice ( cactus, celery, parsley, spinach, dash of lime, honey, pineapple or green apple)
Whoa!! That looks AWESOME
I was back on my vegan diet(I am a lifelong vegetarian and an intermittent vegan...)
Unfortunately, I like snacking :) I enjoyed few fried items "everyday".
How are you doing and what have you learned? And which foods did you have sensitivity to?
I'm glad you have the glory to God!

Great video, I'm so glad my friend recommended it!!!😄
Amen! Dr. Goldner! This is such a great summary with golden info from Dr. Goldner! Already my psoriasis is so much improved after 1 week!
People who need this won’t listen unless they’re desperate for help . I have done this green juice since the seventies. Everything green with a lemon and ginger !
What's everything green
Kale ,spinach, celery, cucumber, if I have bitter melon, green apple or green grapes . I also add the following
I know ginger is brown and lemon is yellow but it makes my green juice a nutrient dense with lots of anti oxidants.
I drink this almost every day except when in such a rush.
Moringa powder is a superfood that's great for a smoothie
Yes you should chew your smoothie, there’s a lot of studies that show chewing not only breaks the food down into smaller particles to make it easier to digest, but it sends a signal to your brain and stomach to start production of proper digestive enzymes, which help you get more nutrition from what you eat..even smoothies.. basically the more you chew your food the more nutrients you are able to get out of them.
I love to get a mouthful of something crunchy, like nuts, and then take a big drink of my fruit and pumpkin seed smoothie at the same time.
A vitamix does just that
@@brianmorris2847 Does Not take the place of chewing, unless someone is just unable to.
@@sl4983 The only thing missing would be the saliva. The Vitamix definitely does a MUCH better job of pulverizing plant cell membranes than chewing does.
Interesting. I always thought I was weird for doing that lol
i LOVE how this lady SMASH here greens down in a vitamix...love her hyper nutrient way..it REALLY works...
Wow. Trying that huge green smoothie instead of trying to eat a big salad every day. That makes a lot of sense! Thanks so much!!
Yeah right! It’s way easier to incorporate into your diet and the benefits seem worth it.
Try to do both, there's a lot of value to actually chewing your veggies!
@@bryant475 what are the benefits of chewing your vegetables vs just drinking them?
@@aecc035791 Not sure why my comment keeps getting deleted, but overall it helps improve the conversion and activation of various antioxidant compounds (maybe the names of the compounds are setting off the delete bot, because they are also useful for covid...). Dr. Esselstyn recommends eating greens 6 times a day for more renewal of these compounds. Chewing also activates satiety signals, such as Leptin. If you can do both smoothies and salads, you should be good to go. Just make sure you drink shortly after blending, for better absorption of these healing compounds!

You do daily ?
Thanks for sharing!!
@@ritesharora6032 . When I was clearing psoriasis, I drank them every morning for breakfast. These days I have them less frequently, as I prefer juicing to smoothies.
Why do you preferred using to smoothies? And also what do you mean by kale was mine blowing? Thank you
@@JoudanJanaiHa .
Hard to drink something cold when the weather gets cold. Otherwise I love this smoothie.
I live in Ohio & tried a smoothie last week & I was cold the rest of the day! Brrr!🥶 😂

Cruciferous vegetables are goitrogenic and who have thyroid issue should not take as raw Form but can take sometimes as cooked Form.
I had to stop doing the smoothies a while back for this reason. It also causes sharp pains in my veins on my hands too which is very worrisome. I also cant supplement iodine without severe side effects so I dont know what to do about it.

I use romaine, argula or cauliflower in my smoothie instead of spinach which is high in oxylates.
I have always heard raw cruciferous vegetables are a big no no because of something in them that negatively affects the thyroid. I tried these smoothies for a month hoping to help with psoriatic arthritis and got zero relief 😢. Every body is different though and I've learned that what helps some does not help others.
Thing is these raw greens that are beneficial for us are the most difficult to digest. I gave up raw kale, collard, etc, because it is so tough.
I would never eat them raw that's just ridiculous boil some water and cook them for a minute or so than dressing and eat
Agreed, eating raw kale upsets my stomach, but steaming for a couple of minutes makes it easier to digest and probably kills off any microbes
Dr. Eric Bakker naturopath said to eat kale steamed. That’s how it was always eaten in the past. Kale was cooked. Putting kale in smoothies raw like that is a new thing.
Start slow with small amounts and build up?
Sautee it on a low flame with olive oil...

Is a smoothie with kale, spinach, beets, carrots and apples considered a green smoothie? Reason being is that it changed color when beets were added
Yes, green refers to added greens (kale, spinach, parsley, dandelion, chard, etc.) The color can change (green, purple, red, brown, etc.) depending on what else you add.
340g of Organic Green Kale and 2805 of Organic Broccoli, and 8 grams of Omega -3 fish oil every day in a smoothie with added protein (and my special supplement mix) for 2 years and I have never felt better!

I used to eat a big smoothee every day with spinach, kale, almonds, flax seeds, etc because I thought it was really good for me. Then I started getting painful kidney stones, and didn't know that most of those ingredients are high in oxalate acid which form kidney stones. I am now eating no plant foods and have no more stones and never felt better. I am still experiencing oxalate dumping three years later - I totally regret eating so many oxalates.

Instead of cutting back on spinach and continuing to eat the healthiest foods in the world and instead going back to meat, which is not only unhealthy, but Unnecessarily, cruel and bad for the planet

Vitamixing is so much better than juicing, because we need fiber.
Plus, juicing wastes a lot of good food. Vitamix pulverize it and makes it more digestible.

My wife has lupus. She's on day 3 of drinking a green smoothie a day. But she's is getting stomach pain.. any suggestions? It's 90% spinach, handful of frozen pineapple, scoop of flaxseed and water. Thanks
Drink L glutamine powder in water. Dr Goldberg suggests it in another of her videos. It helps heal the gut and aids with digestion. I’ve been doing that because I was worried about stomach issues and it’s worked brilliantly. No issues after doing for more than a week.
Pineapple is very acidic. Try frozen bananas. My stomach doesn't like the smoothies with pineapple.

Eat meat, the way our species was intended.

How has it worked out for you? I'd say you're no better I expect. I have PSA - psoriatic arthritis for 30 years. I've been on steriods, anti inflammorties, etc. Was offered Humira but turned it down and decided to research myself. Took me 10 years of trial and error.
I take fish oil in the smoothie, which thankfully can hardly taste.
.
