  • This is the beginning of an exciting journey! I bought a Bambulab P1S and bring you through the journey of unboxing it, setting it up and ripping a few prints. I have 0 experience with Bambulabs products, and didn't watch any content related to these printers before this video (as you can probably tell). Enjoy and let me know what else you want to see!

UPDATE: Bambulab support got back to me within 36 hours, and they already have the spare hotend in the mail. So far, great support experience.

I may have forgotten to mention it, but the printer has a built in camera which allows the user to timelaspe and check in on your prints! It’s pretty dope. Thanks for watching!

Well done initial review. I just ordered mine tonight and am super excited to start building and designing. Is there a design tool you recommend?

Fusion 360 is what I use! It’s a great middle point between basic 3d drawing software and professional engineering grade software. They have a free version, this is what I would recommend.

I think you supposed to leave the door open for pla. That might be your adhesion issue.

The adhesion issue was definitely the bed settings, I’ve had 0 issues with adhesion once I fixed those. I have seen a lot of debate about leaving the door open when printing with PLA on these printers. Some people say you have to, some people say that they’ve always left the door closed and never had issues. I believe Bambu recommends printing with the door open. I’ve always printed with it closed and never had problems past this video. Plus I moved it to the basement, which is pretty cold at this time of the year. Either way, appreciate the comment, and thanks for watching!

You should not have the top cover on while printing pla and some others.

Out of curiosity why do you say that?
